I never took my car to them, so I can't comment on their service, but a shop that can only take you from 7 to 7:30am without an appointment is something people should know and either accept or stop wasting their time and look elsewhere. They're super busy, and that's a good thing, but they don't seem to have any room to grow.

We thought they probably forgot to reset the Oil Change indicator message afterwards so we reset it. Three days later, started getting dashboard messages for oil low, then today red check engine light. We did not see any visible signs of a leak but dash warnings were glaring. Looked up Yelp reviews for most reputable place and it said Central Auto service. They were closing soon but said bring it in. Sure enough, when they checked the dipstick it was dry, no oil. They removed the engine guard panel and oil began spilling out everywhere. The previous place had used the wrong size seal. I was hours away from seizing my engine. They let me take videos of the entire process so I can send back to previous service center for reimbursement. I thought it was plausible I would get the additional money back but when I get there she said "oh it's because we charge 3% on credit card payments" which is a crazy statement because I used a DEBIT card, they did more than a 3% fee and they couldn't tell me that on the phone before I wasted 30 minutes? We first went to Midas, where they claimed the rear brake pads and rotors both needed to be replaced. I didn't completely trust their diagnosis, so we went to Mid City Tire and Auto for a second opinion. The team at Mid City was honest and told us that while we did need new rear brake pads, there was absolutely no need to replace the rotors. We had them replace the rear brakes and got our safety inspection tag. On top of that, they actually found that one of the rear tires was completely screwed up from a previous car accident and desperately needed to be replaced--something Midas completely missed. Highly recommend Mid City for their honesty and thorough work!
