My sister was visiting and she isn't a beer drinker at all but tired (and liked!) the fruity spritz - it is frankly a great option to serve in a brew pub. I had the Oyster Lager - dark but not heavy tasting. Wayne went for their1856 Lager and my brother in law opted for the Champs Lager. All good - and bonus - Dog Haus was the food truck so we enjoyed the following: Wayne had the House Dog with sauerkraut, mustard, grilled onions & celery salt. I had the same but with caramelized onions instead and no sauerkraut. Bill totally enjoyed the OG dog, with maple mustard & curry ketchup, They also allow you to substitute a red snapper (you know, a traditional Maine dog!) for the beef one. All in all it was a great afternoon, sitting in the doors of the brewery, chatting and enjoying hot dogs and beer!

We included two on-tap beers with our order (P3, Hazy IPA) that were also delicious and poured ASAP when we placed our food order. There is ample parking and lots (and lots) of outdoor seating (some of it covered for Sun protection and for cooling off.) There was a misting fan running, too. Service was very hospitable, and no long lines for food or beverages. The cost of eating and drinking here (on a special event day no less) was very welcoming: Our tab surprised me, and I more than made it up on the gratuity (which I hope you do, too.) These people are working hard, and some of them are in front of a blazing pizza oven. My only regret: I forgot to purchase beer to take home. I will remedy this shortly.

We got a bag of chips and were told they were out of the tater tots and French fries. No respectable Irish bar would not be able to serve fries or some form of potato with a meal. The bar had about 10 people in the bar and they were all pretty drunk. It is not a fun pub but a place with some sad drunks.

Go to impress parents or similar if you are a college student. For quality and price, based on our experience, would not do again. Overcooked eggs, grudging portions, mix and match plateware that just confounds (bacon and eggs in a bowl - really? but only for one person in the party?). The menu is also misleading. The fabled "hash of the day" turned out to be just a pile of ordinary unremarkable overcooked and unseasoned home fries. The same side everyone else had for free, but costing some part of the wallet-stretching $21 in the context of the all-in "165" breakfast - two overcooked over-easy eggs (no seasoning), a slice of thin sourdough bread cut in two, a pile of indifferent home fries and two of the smallest pieces of bacon you can imagine. $8-12 in any self-respecting diner in the country, and typically made with far more care and flavor. When asked how plain ordinary home fries were a "hash of the day" when they were also unmentioned sides for other dishes, the waitress shrugged and said "it's a KIND of hash. We call that hash here." Touche. Should have asked more questions. And the toast is a single piece of seemingly storebought sourdough bread cut in half (no evidence here, just disappointment being expressed). No substitution, no extras. Pretty much no butter, either. Another member of the party had the blueberry pancakes, Thick and heavy, and unremarkable, once again. Any diner does it better - for half the price. Timing was a serious issue too. The dining room was somewhere between 1/3 and 1/2 full. 3-4 tables in other words. Still took well over 45 minutes to get food. Watched 2 pairs of other diners come, order, eat, pay and leave as we waited, Food came cool with no explanation or apology for the long wait. Small complaints perhaps, but at this price, they are making bold claims and utterly failing to match up. Breakfast should be a lay-up for places like this. The ingredients cost almost nothing and the work involved is strictly short-order, simple, fast-turn work in a relatively uncrowded dining room. No reason to go light on ingredients or on flavors. Breakfast is an easy meal to wow in aplace like this, and New England has traditions to uphold - and yet the establishment clearly did not see the point in putting in the effort to match their prices, decor, or location. The capper was watching the tables cleared by a surly teenager in stained board shorts and stained tshirt and sneakers with unwashed hair in a beautiful dining room. The young man clomped in and would withdraw 1-2 plates at a time before stomping out, taking over ten minutes to clear a single table. Overpriced and under-quality. It's for tourists. Beautiful building, though.

They offer a large selection of non-alcoholic options as well. Lots of thought is put into their flavors, beer types, the season. You never know what yummy flavor you may see. If you aren't sure what to get try their refreshing Kölsch or famous ThaI.P.A. with lemongrass flavor. Indoor and outdoor is dog friendly. Upstairs has event space for rent. Today marked the first time I have revisited since way back in February of 2019. At that point they had only been open since October 2018. Hard to remember just how much the space had changed but it is still small but not meant in a negative way at all. It's a small but inviting and well decorated space. Plenty of as you would expect Pug pictures and decor, so very cute! I appreciate that they take risks with more unique beer offerings. Including their flagship THAI.P.A that uses ginger and lemongrass and they rotate different flavors into it. Jasmine and hibiscus beers and more. More traditionally they offer a kolsch as well. They also have bottles to go and offer growler (aptly named pug jugs) to go as well. If you can't decide their smaller pours are perfect to sample multiple brews. This visit my wife enjoyed their fruited sour Druidcraft and I got their smoked lager Camp Wood 4 Sale. Both tasty and well made. Friendly and knowledgeable bartenders will help find the perfect beer for you and make you feel welcome in their space. Also although we did not partake this particular weekend they were offering Christmas ornament painting, a great little craft activity! Service has always been consistently great. Friendly, prompt, detail oriented and caring about our experience. We have never had a bad interaction with any of the staff members. They are hardworking customer focused team. Good with children and elderly folks. The food has been consistently good, temperature, quantity, flavors, textures and presentation. We have tried their burgers, pizza, bowls and appetizers. We really like their brussels sprouts, including our 3 and 6 year old family members. There's a wonderful sweet savory flavor, a nice crisp to the outside and very tender inside. The burgers and fries are very satisfying and flavorful. Most recently I discovered (realized) you can add mac and cheese to a burger. It was yummm!!! The wings, are plentiful, crispy and juicy. Be careful, because the internal temperature is VERY HOT when they first arrive. The past few times we have been the restaurant was very comfortable, not too cold or too hot. In the winter, it gives a mix of Scandinavia and Spain, and I'm so here for it. Oh, and they have a full wine bar with pours and bites. Just go... you'll thank me later.
