I originally wrote a one-star review for the call center two days ago because I was very frustrated and reluctant to keep my MRI appointment. I even called facilities within 100 miles to see if I could have the MRI done somewhere else so I could cancel this appointment. Unfortunately, I had no luck, so I decided to keep my appointment--and I am very glad I did. I want to give credit to the entire Stone Oak office staff for turning what I expected to be a stressful experience into a very positive one. The waiting room was very comfortable, and I received a friendly greeting when I checked in. Shortly afterward, the nurse introduced herself and explained that she would be placing an IV. I told her that I am claustrophobic, had a Valium available if needed, and also have an Inspire implant. She could tell that I was very nervous and immediately reached out to Ed, the MRI technologist. Ed took the time to speak with me and explain exactly what would happen during the scan. While we were discussing the procedure, I showed him the area of concern, which was primarily my pelvis. He noticed that the MRI order was for the abdomen, which would not have properly covered the area that needed to be scanned. He recognized that the order needed to be changed from an abdominal MRI to a pelvic MRI to ensure the correct area was evaluated. Ed personally walked me to the front desk, where the receptionist contacted the ordering physician's office. I also called Dr. Rivera myself, and he was able to provide a verbal order so we could proceed with the correct MRI. The MRI itself went much better than I expected. Ed played music during the scan, and a calming voice explained when I needed to hold my breath and what to expect throughout the procedure. That made a huge difference in helping me feel comfortable. Kudos to the entire Stone Oak staff! The nurse was incredibly sweet and attentive to how apprehensive I was, and Ed was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in making sure I received the correct scan. I truly appreciate everyone who took the extra time to make sure everything was done correctly. Thank you to the Stone Oak team for turning what started as a frustrating experience into one that I can honestly give five stars. read more

Great communication today by Diane, my CT technologist. Quick, friendly, and made me comfortable during the imaging process. I prefer Touchtone Imaging over both STRIC and Baptist Imaging. Much easier to get seen on time. Not as crowded, and personnel are not as harried as those centers. Ask your medical professionals if Touchtone can see you. read more

Had my annual mammogram at Touchstone imaging for the first time. (Have used another imaging center in the past.) AMAZING is how I would describe my experience! I got sent here by my podiatrist to do an MRI for a bump I have in my foot. The 4 stars is because the place is really really really nice. So clean and well put. My nurse was super nice and was very understanding to me when I mention I was nervous. The reason why I didn't put 5 stars the front desk lady was not nice at all. Super rude with an attitude. My wife needed some images taken and this was her choice of location to get it done. Scheduling was easy and they set the appointment for a very fast turnaround. We drove up and were pleasantly surprised. Parking was plentiful (nearly at the entrance), some of the lot was covered in shade, there was no crowd, and everything was on the ground floor. We walked in, and they greeted my wife as if they were expecting her, handed her some paperwork to complete, and before she was finished were already calling her back. What was so amazing about that is that we were 20-30 minutes early, and they took her right back. In about 15 minutes, my wife walked out to the lobby and told me she was finished. We were in and out before her actual appointment. Nice! She told me about what was done and how complete they were. She said the technicians were very friendly and took great care of her. Will we return? When we need that kind of medical attention, we will definitely come back to this location. read more

This place is the best. They do it all! You walk into a nice, clean facility and are immediately greeted by a receptionist. I was told to have a seat, and that someone would be up to get me shortly. I wish I could give them 10 stars. After multiple MRIs over the years, this was my first one on my head/brain/neck. It was also my first time to feel claustrophobic. The team was so patient and kind!! They literally held my hand through the process!! Sounds crazy, but it worked! I would highly recommend this location!! If claustrophobia may be issue for you and open MRI is not a good option- work with your Dr ahead of time for calming meds for MRI. read more

I just realized I have not passed along my wonderful experiences here at Touchstone Imaging. As a frequent customer with a familiar name, they have no choice other than to recognize me when I come in. And usually I get plenty of smiles from the ladies here, and it had nothing to do with the fact that a couple of times I've brought in breakfast tacos when I come in. Lol. Never a hassle with the billing if I say I want to pay half up front and the rest after the EOB is settled. If I need a copy of an image to send to a doctor, they get it to me same day usually if I want it (rarely do) and NO CHARGE. One time a doctor who was planning a new office space asked my opinion for what I like to see in a waiting room. I thought of Cab Calloway in Blues Brothers when I said "You've got to get yourself down to Touchstone Imaging and check out the pew of library chairs". I don't usually have to wait long to get called back, but if I do, I've usually fallen asleep in those chairs they have. Give the ladies here a try and tell them I sent you. read more

I have had consistent great experiences here. The woman at the front desk is kind and professional. It's rare to get service like this anymore. Also, all the techs are patient, so I'll never go anywhere else for imaging. Did I mention it's clean, quiet and serene in the waiting room. I think this is a hidden medical gem in Stone Oak. When you are in pain and stressed due to medical diagnostics, having a good imaging experience is a must. read more

Don't fill out online forms!! Waste of time, they made me fill out a whole bunch of forms just for a bone density test and mammogram, then their payment device didn't work, clerk had to manually take my card. Office seemed not functional and up to date read more

Thoroughly impressed with the customer service and care at Touchstone. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by the receptionist. She was thorough, informative and helpful. She efficiently got me checked into the system as a new patient and I was only waiting about 5 minutes before a nurse/technician took me back for my screening. The technician/nurse, Lindsay, was an absolute sweetheart. She knew it was my first time getting a mammogram so she was sure to let me know exactly what was going on and what to expect. She was very kind, patient and caring. I was nervous about my first mammogram but Touchstone really made the experience not that bad and the customer service was just phenomenal. I would highly recommend them over the STRIC facilities in town. I've taken my mother to STRIC before and did not have the best of experiences. Touchstone is the way to go. read more

One of the best experiences I had at any medical based office! Had to call so many different offices to check to see if they offered the specific test I needed and this was the only facility out of 7. They immediately got in touch with me and kept me up to date on the whole process. When I went in to my test it was extremely fast and easy and I had all the information I needed prior to coming in. Dr. Jeremy Wiersig performed my test and was extremely kind and took his time to make me feel safe and comfortable. I was extremely scared going in but he made me feel significantly better and explained everything to me in detail. Highly recommend going to this facility if you need any kind of imaging! read more

Just left my HSG with tech Angela and Dr. Harper, it was hands down an easy, pleasant experince which they did successfuly in 10 minutes. My last HSG (last month) was at STRIC. It was not only inconclusive but their Dr. Dalrymple had to perform it 5 times and STILL could NOT achieve pressure to flow the dye. FIVE TIMES FROM AN MD. Save yourself the pain, frustration time and money. Come here FIRST. read more

Run away from this business. After I submitted over 10 documents for review, the local office promised me financial aid, and a year after receiving my MRI and ultrasound the national office decided I should not receive financial aid and is now charging me $2300. Deceptive practices! I have resubmitted all the documentation again, but still, review bills and threats for collection. I have called 3 times and am always connected with a customer service representative that can not actually help me. This business preys on women in health crises with false promises and deceptive practices. read more

I'll be reporting you to the FTC for overcharging me for my last payment. This is the second time your company screwed up with your billing department doing stuff to benefit your company and screw over the customer. My MRI process went very fast and painlessly, everyone is very knowledgeable and helpful in every aspect. We have used this place but even though we paid the bill upfront they have been sending us bill for non payment. We called them and they couldn't track down the payments and they actually decided to send it the collection. Not recommended at all. This place was new to me I had a good experience here. They got me in right away and was in and out in a timely manner. The staff was super nice, professional and helpful-even with having folks out sick that day. They explained the procedure (ultrasound), costs and insurance coverage in detail upfront and offered a payment plan if needed. I would definitely go here again any time. read more

It was so easy to get a same day appointment! I had been coughing up blood for a couple days and then continued to after my X-ray here at Touchstone, so decided to come to urgent care later that same day. I called Touchstone after hours (& mind you, only about 6 hours after I had my X-ray) and luckily got thru to someone (Ms Crystal) even tho they were closed, told them the Doctor I was currently sitting with and the issue and all my Information and she sent us the chest X-ray summary within minutes! Today was my first time trying Touchstone Medical imaging and I would HIGHLY recommend them! I was given the CT order this morning by my doctor and I called the regular imaging place I use, but they wouldn't be able to get me in for 2-3 days due to insurance verification. So I went next door to try to see if Touchstone would be able to see me sooner than Friday. They expedited the insurance approval and fit me in the same day. Incredibly effortless and pleasant medical experience. I'm retired military and needed an MRI fairly quickly to determine the reason and required treatment for leg trauma. My PCM put in the request the morning after an ER visit and the earliest BAMMC could take me me was five weeks in the future. I called Touchstone and Lety made an appointment for me immediately for me the next afternoon at the Stone Oak facility. She worked tirelessly to figure out how to make the appointment, and where, since I have a spinal stimulator. Then at the facility itself, the staff was amazing; friendly and extremely efficient. I had a PET/CT done yesterday and I have to say that it was such a nice experience. Letty was the person I was trying to schedule with which turned out to be a little of a waiting game because the scanner wasnt working and they were waiting for a part. She called me regularly to keep me informed of the status and was always so kind, friendly and professional. She made it a point to come to the back while I was getting prepared for the testing to introduce herself. She was so sweet. Liz did my scan and she was awesome too. She had everything ready to go when I was called in and things proceeded without a hitch. She made sure I was warm enough, had a pillow and was comfortable. She was so kind and very considerate. I did not expect my visit for the first time to this facility would cause such a HUGE disappointment. I sure wish I had seen the reviews before I scheduled my appointment. So beware. Touchstone Imaging never clarified with me what my financial responsibility would be if I had my MRI done with them. It wasn't until I was injected the contrast and inside the tunnel that I found out by the office staff that my insurance was not in network with the facility. really? What is a patient to do at this point? I was so upset but my only focus was that of my health. Talk about customer service and quality care. I was told by the office staff that my insurance was contacted to verify benefits to come and find out by the insurance that they had nothing on file that Touchstone had called my insurance. No professionalism whatsoever! To top it off, Touchstone informed me that they were sorry but I was still responsible for the entire bill. Done with this people! read more
