I enjoyed my drink, which was pretty much a bees knees with Sriracha, but I think this might be one of the few drinks worth ordering. It's a lovely place to go if you're looking to pass some time. It's not really a place to stay for a while as it's not very large and people are constantly looking for places to sit since there aren't many. Almost gives it a rushed feel. What makes it so you have to stay a bit longer than you planned is that service is very slow here. I'm not sure if they don't hire as many people as they need but they're all so busy it's hard for them to stop and greet you, much less be quick with drinks or small bites. Aside from service the views are so beautiful here. It overlooks the lake and all the buildings light up at night making the view spectacular. I primarily came here because I wanted to check out the view of the city and try one of their delicious drinks that I'd read about. When you pull up to the hotel and walk inside, walk to the left of the staircase around to the elevators, and head up to floor 32. Once you get up, it's the only thing up there so you can't miss it. Inviting entry way and upon walking in, you're impressed. I went on a Thursday night and it was pretty packed, with green and blue up lights giving the place some awesome ambiance. There are windows all around, which allows a beautiful panoramic view, even at night! Swanky seating, too! I grabbed an October Rust which is a mix of Hennessy, Grand Marnier, Tina Marie, and crema. DELCIOUS and packs a real punch! I was also considering a drink called The View but October Rust came recommended by the waitress. The drinks average about 13 bucks and up. There is also a small food menu but it's definitely not meant for you to get full from; some charcuteries and such. I grabbed some great pics and had a great drink! The only positive for our experience was the views. Cleveland does not have many "rooftop bars" but this is one of them. Although it's more of a glass balcony than a true rooftop. Service was very lackluster. No one greeted my party and we had to walk up to the bar and ask if seething was first come first serve. They said yes so we say ourselves. There were not many tables and we had to sit at one that was just vacated. It took awhile for anyone to come around and clear off the table. The one drink I ordered they were out of. The other two I got were okay, but nothing special. Overall, the service was substandard and seemed to cater to a certain demographic (presumably the dressed up hotel guests). read more

WHAT A FABULOUS BAR! The view is breathtaking -- we could see Lake Erie, the Browns stadium, the old Coast Guard station, all of the salt mills, the convention center green, and the fabulous sunset. We got there abut 15 minutes before they opened, so were the first ones in the giant glass room to the side w/the couches. The service was too good, meaning she kept bringing drinks so quickly that it was hard to keep up. That is the best kind of service problem to have :) We had some apps, but it would be the view and drinks that bring us back again and again. This place is fine, but only that. It has so much potential, but over 5-6 visits, I often find that their service is frequently slow. I would not bring business partners here at the current level of experienced service. I can't help but mention that the server with two-color hair and bad makeup will continually notice tables who've not been helped and walk right by with no acknowledgement and I heard the table next to me ask why "that one server seems to snub everyone." I hope they can figure out their kinks now that the staffing industry is getting better and hire some more professional staff! The hotel exceptional! However the bar staff at Bar 32 not so helpful. We waited 20 minutes to even get some eye contact or any kind of acknowledgment from the bartenders. There was at least 3. We ended up walking out and going elsewhere for drinks. One of the reasons we chose to stay here was the view and close to the waterfront. You are here for the view and don't the servers know it. Located on the top floor of the Hilton, Bar 32 delivers incredible, breath taking, panoramic views and that's the long and short of it. Servers work the room but service is a bit harder to find. While reviewing the menu and pricing a coworker commented "that much for a glass of wine?" and was overheard by a server who replied "well with a view like this..." my jaw just about dropped. Even if you think that, don't say that to your customers as it leaves a sour taste in their mouth. Another server (Michael) was rude when we were trying to close out our tab and as I went outside to retrieve the other members of our table to come in and close out with him I saw him whispering and pointing towards us with the manager. Calm down man, we are not skipping out on our tab. Overall the experience was sub par and left such a bad taste in our mouth that, while we were there for an entire week, we did not return again after this happened to us on Monday because of how we were treated. My advice: go up there and get your photos and bounce. Save your money and drink elsewhere; you know-some place that appreciates your business, not takes it for granted and rests on its views to bring folks in. I made 2 visits - it was a highly convenient location at the top of the downtown cleveland Hilton. The location is brilliantly scenic - the view is spectacular, and the sunset across the lake was the icing on the cake. The craft cocktail menu here is a nice combination of classics (like a vesper) intermixed with updated/creative riffs on a variety of proven hits. The staff is both competent and friendly - indeed i might say proud of their creations. The drinks are a bit pricey - to be expected i suppose in a Hilton setting. Most are in the $12-14 range. Service is rather quick. Been here several times when I stayed at the Hilton. Drinks are good. However, I would highly suggest when they offer the chili rim- say no. Stopped up to Bar 32 with the wife recently and we had a good time. The place was packed on a Saturday night, but the view was amazing. We had been out restaurant and appetizer hopping, so we each simply ordered a glass of water and a glass of champagne. The champagne was very good, I might add. So she started arguing and repeating that if I won't tell what exactly I wanted in the drink she won't take the order. And how I supposed to know what to add something else? Im not a bartender. I was astonished- usually, in upscale places, a bartender is ready to do a signature cocktail to just surprise you. And I believe that the bartender would do it if I would be ordering at the bar instead sitting at the table. She was just busy and did not want to waste time. The most what shocked me, it was an attitude of the waitress. It was strange arguing about a drink with the waitress in front of people, where the waitress raised her voice and obviously did not care about the client. I believe that all the situation could be handled differently. A woman who sat next to me said the same thing that the waiter was obnoxious and aggressive to them too. Waiter was super nice and engaging and made sure to keep the waters full of everyone in my party. Around 8 they have live music which is pretty awesome. I went on opening night. On my first attempt to get up I was sent back down as the hallway on the 32nd floor was too full; I was told to try again in 15 minutes. On my second attempt it was still too busy, but someone was finally taking names and numbers and I got a text when it was time to come up again. (I waited in the 2nd floor Eliot's bar which was fun too.) The upstairs is very comfortably appointed. The entire space is larger than you would expect. There's a smaller room off to the side with capacity of 38. It's a nice quieter area with north and west views and I could imagine having a private event in this room. There's a couple bistro window seats as well as a big bank of couch seating facing north. There's of course the open air patio with great views to the north, east and west. The main indoor area has a bar with seating and some large tables great for groups. There are more bistro tables along the window to the west. Bar service was quick and there's a small food menu offered as well. Staff roamed the space clearing away dirty glasses, taking orders and bringing water refills. Awesome view no matter where you sit. Even inside there are two story floor to ceiling windows. Despite being high energy, this is a great place to relax and I look forward to coming back for sunset. read more

No happy hour, but we decided to order a few cocktails and the pretzel appetizer. The pretzel appetizer never came, and our waitress was nowhere to be seen for 25 minutes. Beautiful view, good atmosphere but never do a proposal there lol. Manager will not help you out. Wouldn't hold a table, outside was closed and wouldn't let them outside for even 5 min. (Because wind was 17 mph), and then wouldn't let parents in bc of COVID which I understand but they all had masks on. So they had to did it in the corner of the bar... Pros: Great view & good food Cons: Rude & unprofessional staff We were in the private room booked for a pre-wedding party when we were approached by a staff member letting us know that it was a "21 & over" bar. Completely understandable, however, the way the staff member approached us was very offensive. I had my 6 month old son asleep in my arms as I was talking to family. I understand if I was feeding a 19 y.o. kid drinks but we had a private party that was a room full of family & friends. The condescending tone that was used to speak to my wife & I was enough to make us push the issue as well as making us feel embarrassed. If we were there around 10pm or so, I would completely get it. However, we walked in at 7:30pm. It is a hotel bar/restaurant with no bouncer or special key to get to the 32nd floor. I would have very much enjoyed the bar & our private event that had been set aside for all of us that flew in from all over the country if it wasn't for the 6 staff members. Bar 32 is by far my favorite cocktail bar in CLE! The views are beautiful, especially in the summer. I would recommend going around sunset for the ultimate experience. The view is incredible.... enough said but from the view, you can see everything including the NASA Science Center and the Cleveland Browns Stadium. I just came for a nite cap ;-) I had three rounds of the Maya Hari, a cognac based drink with pomegranate undertones. Overall, Bar 32 (named based on it being on the 32nd floor of the Hilton) is a great place​ to chill and talk with a date, either inside or outside. Just make sure that you have your state issued ID as they do card - they are pretty strict about it. read more
