This place is always a fun time. Strong drinks, great playlist, great people but can get really busy! Food is decent. A little bit more to offer than your typical bar food. If you're looking for a fun time at a bar, definitely hit this place up! There is security and they will check your bags and pat the guys down!

One of my favorite restaurants/bars--HANDS DOWN! Customer service is always great and the food and drinks even better! If you're looking for laid back R&B vibes try lunch time or before 7p...afterwards it can get a little crowded. If you're not into crowded bars and loud music I don't recommend going late at night. My favorite dishes are the meat lovers pizza, coconut shrimp, potato skins, 7's cajun pasta, steak bites over mash, and the grilled chicken. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. For drinks, I love the top shelf peach Long Island or the Hennessy Paris.

This is hands down some of the BEST chicken I have ever tasted...seasoned to perfection. I ended up turning this meal into a loaded backed potato dinner. The atmosphere was extremely chill. Everyone was in a zone with friends or their dates. The service was good. Rumor has it this place gets busy on the weekends. I can see why. Great hang out spot with good food. I don't like crowded spaces so I likely won't go on a weekend but definitely will return on a week day.

We stopped in for a quick lunch. The vibe is really relaxed out server stated that they had just redone the pictures and were in the process of updating their social media platforms. They strongly encouraged us to take pictures of our experience and tell others. Every yelper's dream right. I got the potato skins. When I asked for no bacon, she informed.me that I could add chicken, beef, or shrimp for an additional $2. And I did. It was delicious. The food came out really fast..the restaurant started to get a little busy towards the end of our stay but the service remained excellent.

Saturday 9-17-22 we had a great lil comfortable lunch. Our waitress was really on top of it. She gave us enough space but kept checking on us. The steak bites were so good. Their our favorite at this restaurant/bar. I believe it's black owned too, last i check. We both ordered our own steak bites cuz they are that awesome. Those green tea drinks were strong and got the job done. We were happy && so was our waitress.

I always get the 7's cajun pasta with extra cajun seasoning, it is delicious. It's the only local place that can nail a good cajun alfredo! I would have given it a five but sometimes it doesn't taste the exact same, but still good nonetheless. The service is good when I get take out.

I come here all the time and it's always a good time. I love the music (even though sometimes it's so loud, you're screaming at your guest), but the food is top-notch. I always get either their meat lovers' pizza or the cajun chicken and shrimp pasta!

This is like my second time coming here. I enjoy it every time I come through. Its a good atmosphere, current URBAN music, delicious food, great drinks, you really can't ask for anything else. I just wish I lived closer and I'd probably be here more frequently.

Great happy hour price! Came here for a quick dinner during happy hour. They were loud, many customers were having a great time. Happy hour beer is really good price, my large beer was only $3! Nice selections of martini and cocktails, if I wasn't working later, I would have tried their cocktails. I like their ceilings decor, really cool. Food was typical bar food. Nothing special. A bit too greasy for my liking. This night was interesting experience

Potatoeless steak bites probably 1 scoop

I ordered the steak bites multiple times and it was very good so it made me want to get it as it's a delicious meal. This time I was extremely disappointed in the portion of mashed potatoes that came with my steak bites they literally gave me one small scoop of potatoes in it was extremely small as a portion I understand that there is inflation with businesses but they should have a standard ,I feel like that's ridiculous and I probably will never spend my money here again. please fix your portions because I am a loyal customer who has been going here for years and it's extremely disappointing to see the decline on a great meal. It was seasoned good but the portion was insanely smaller, I used to be able to pour zip sauce on a bed of potatoes but now it's nothing under the sauce to catch it

7's GroupOn burger deal: Two [2] of these for $13.

I screwed-up. I bought a $13 Groupon for 7 Bar & Grill, thinking it was for the (olde) '7' steakhouse on the SW corner of Maple & Orchard Lake which is now Prime 29. Doh! The Groupon offered a burger, fries & beer for two for $13. It's a reasonable deal, not a great deal. 7 Bar & Grill is located on the NW corner of 12 Mile & Telegraph, in the same strip mall as Five Guys and Pot Belly. It is primarily a sports bar, w/DJ & karaoke later in the evenings. Think: Smaller version of Buffalo Wild Wings. We arrived ~6:10PM on a Saturday. It was almost full. It's a seat yourself operation at this time of day. There is a hostess stand, so I'm guessing that they are flexible in this regard. We took a 4-top near the door. My first impression? NOISY! Polished cement floors, hard walls ... no attempts to dull the cacophony. A DJ arrives later. No, thank you. The tables were not over-stuffed for the space. I began to worry after ~7 mins; nobody had stopped by. No welcome. No waters. No menus. Four people working behind the bar, but only three(?) waitresses working the floor? As I was getting ready to intercept and detain a waitress, she appeared, but with only menus. I made it clear we were ready to order and gave her the Groupon. She was familiar with it. She asked the appropriate questions re: choice of cheeses, toppings, preparation and choice of beers. The beers & waters arrived promptly. The burgers arrived in a timely enough manner. It was a pre-made beef patty (GFS? Sysco?) and served with a toasted bakery bun - Hurray! The lettuce was fresh. The tomatoes were typical GFS/Sysco thin-sliced, tasteless pink things. We both ordered our burgers medium. Both arrived well done without any sear whatsoever. Mine was a tad too salty, just a bit, but I don't like salt. My bride did not think hers was over-salted. It's just a burger, not worth a redux. The fries were correctly prepared and not the typical salt-lick. - Parking looks to be very constrained for all the restaurants in the strip mall. - The WiFi is seriously mis-configured - Avoid - do NOT use. - Not CCW friendly, based on the business mix I observed. Will I return? Probably not. When I want a burger, beer and crunchy, I'll probably keep visiting Red Coat Tavern. Marginally more expensive, but a better burger, reliable prep, better service and without the cacophony of seven TV's and music.

I like they pizza crust anything or veggies,

Good food is found at Jay Birds Bar & Grille located in Lathrup Village! So much so I dined here twice in one month with two different parties. Ironically, Brianna was our server both times. It's time to give her a raise for her hard work in serving. I had the catfish fillets, green beans and garlic mashed potatoes on my first visit and fried chicken wings and fries on the second visit. The food was well prepared with portions for sharing or a second meal at home. Note: Due to their limited seating, there is a 90-minute seating limit during busy times. Seating includes bar seating, pub tables and booth. Seating is not ideal for parties larger than 4. On my second visit, we had a party of 7 that we settled for two booths.

Until someone at the table next to us lit a joint, we truly enjoyed the outdoor space. My brother, however, warned me that the food was just meh and I find I will have to agree with him. The protein/meats were good. My problem was with the sides. I got the rice pilaf and green beans and I feel like it was false advertisement. The rice pilaf was just yellow rice. The green beans were canned, although the menu pic showed fresh. Both of them lacked flare or seasoning. I noticed the person we ate with ate all of his catfish but barely touched his sides (potatoes au gratin and corn) as well. Now my husband got the mashed potatoes and brussels. He raved about them. I grabbed a little of both to take home so hoping when I eat them for lunch tomorrow I'm as impressed with those as he was. Maybe they are the show stoppers?!? So the final factor is always whether or not it would return and I will say yes, there were several cocktails on the menu I really want to try. And it is conveniently located. I will try what our server recommended, the wings, and just keep it there.

I ordered a western burger with large fry, but removed the corned beef. The burger itself was delicious, the patties were well seasoned and cooked perfectly. They were quite juicy and melted in the mouth. The brioche bun was as expected, although it did get a little bit, soggy due to the generous amounts of sweet/sugary Kansas City style barbecue sauce, which was also delicious. The onion ring that was part of the burger was crispy on the outside and not too mushy on the inside just how it should be. Next time I'll add bacon and some jalapeños to the burger to balance the sweet barbecue sauce. The french fries were delicious, crispy exterior with soft, fluffy interior and just the right amount of salt. Although I did not order seasoned fries, I was very happy with the regular unseasoned one. I can imagine that the seasoned fries would be even better.
