We ended up with the carne asada tacos (4 pieces) and Al Pastor nachos. They also gave us some chips and salsa on the house. For drinks, we grabbed a Piñada (non-alcoholic) and a mojito. Honestly, the drinks were the highlight--both were great, and they had a good variety of non-alcoholic options. It did feel odd that the mojito was only 50¢ more than the Piñada, though! The carne asada wasn't my favourite; the beef was chopped really small, almost like ground meat, which made it a bit dry and chewy. The flavor itself was good, though, and I surprisingly liked the corn tortillas (usually not a fan). The nachos were decent--generous amount of toppings, but I could've used more pineapple to really bring out that Al Pastor flavor. On the plus side, they had a live singer performing throughout the night, which was super fun and added a cool vibe. I was promptly seated at a comfy booth. I was near the washrooms, although I didn't see a sign saying that it was the path to them. Weird. Folks walking in and out of the corridor tipped me off.
