We are so disappointed in the chimney installed at our cabin. Because they tried a couple of times, we were left with bent pieces resulting in a shoddy appearance. In addition, we were dismayed to see that they cut a large hole into our new and expensive roof for an 8"pipe when it needed a 6" pipe making it look like we have a factory smokestack on our small cabin. We don't like leaving negative reviews but this was a $7,000 job and had we known of the result ahead of time we would not have hired this company. Hopefully this will save future customers from the frustration we've experienced.

Which is strange as when Jeff was on-site quoting the project he said they used high quality products that were windproof and we wouldn't have any problems. After we paid for the first repair of the chimney cap, it failed again. This time Cat told us the manufacturer didn't cover high winds. That didn't solve our problem. The installation and repair guys are great, as is the insert. But this being Colorado, I think they should have a much better plan and solution to this ongoing issue with the cap.
