It's so interesting to read reviews when they're all over the board like for this business...it's hard to understand. But I had a great experience with Trinity services: I asked them to evaluate and make a repair recommendation for my dryer. They set expectations on timing that they met, Alex was consistently respectful, informative, friendly and explained everything he was going to do and why and then explained what the problem was which all made complete sense. I had to hire a dryer duct cleaning service which clearly was the problem and once done would solve the lack of heating issue. He even offered to put the door to the closet back on at a later date after I had the duct cleaning done, because he said he would be in the area and would be happy to swing by to take care of it, or was happy to put it back on at the time of service. He was very knowledgeable and happy to share his knowledge in any way helpful. I will definitely use these guys again. read more

For the short story, read the last two paragraphs. We engaged Trinity Services to repair an ice buildup in our refrigerator, which was otherwise working fine. On their service call, the technician told us he would need to thaw the ice buildup and replace the main control board and a temperature sensor. Richard, the company's owner, assured us that this was the necessary solution to address the problem. Unfortunately, after the work was completed, the refrigerator would no longer cool to safe food storage temperatures and the water dispenser quit working properly. We tried working with Richard to resolve the issue. He claimed that it was a bad control board, so he ordered a new one. The technician came back to install the new board plus a fan. When he presented the invoice to us for signature, he told us it was just an acknowledgement of the work he had done that day. We had no idea of what he had tricked us into signing, until we later discovered that buried in the description was "no refunds" and under the signature in a teeny-weeny font (the size of about #2), were the words "I hereby acknowledge the satisfactory completion of the above described work". Unfortunately it was difficult to be satisfied with the "above described work" because, per the technician, once a refrigerator is pulled apart, it can take up to 24 hours for it to come back to acceptable operating temperatures. Ours never came back. The refrigerator and freezer continued to remain well above safe cooling levels (40-50 in the refrigerator and 10-20 in the freezer), and the water dispenser continued to malfunction. Again, we tried to work with Richard to resolve the issue. He refused to work with us in any sort of professional or non-defensive manner. As a result, we engaged another local appliance service company to assess the damaged refrigerator. They informed us that it was unlikely that a new control board was ever needed, and that repairs for the damage done by Trinity would be cost prohibitive. We ended up having to purchase a new refrigerator. The moral of this story is (1) Sign only what you READ with a magnifying lens, not what the vendor tells you (our bad for trusting Richard and his technician to be honest with us), and (2) In this particular case, if you engage Trinity Services, then heads up if the repairs don't work. In our opinion, Richard took advantage of us, an elderly couple. He promised that he could fix our refrigerator and that he would take care of us. And he promised a 90 day warranty on his work. He did none of that. He refused to take responsibility for the fact that the refrigerator maintained safe temperatures before his company arrived on the scene and no longer functioned at safe levels after his company "repaired" it. Same with the water dispenser. He refused to honor the 90 day warranty. He refused to issue a refund (minus the minimal cost to replace a broken latch in a clothes dryer). He refused to even consider a partial refund. His claim is that "we signed the paper". He would not issue us a copy of the invoices or part numbers for the new parts he claimed he ordered. If I could give Trinity ZERO stars, I would. I am guessing that we are not the first of Richard's victims and sadly, we won't be the last. Go elsewhere for your appliance repair needs. There are so many better options out there. read more

Same day service, prompt, and gave me all the facts so I could make the best decision. I called this place because of the great Yelp reviews. They were wonderful. They gave me an appointment window for the afternoon, but were able to come by earlier. The technician evaluated my Dishwasher and its refusal to drain. It turned out that the problem was the motor and that a new motor would have cost much more than a new unit (he called and got a real time quote on the motor on the spot), so the technician recommended I purchase a new one. He also pointed out that there were some replacement parts in mine (came with the house when I bought it) that were incorrect and were probably the reason it never worked particularly well on the dishes on the top shelf. And, he let me know about some issues that may not be up to code, with regard to how my dishwasher was set up. The technician told me exactly what to look for in a new machine and noted some specific brands that I should consider (American made). Hey, the guy that has to fix these all day must know which ones break down the least ;) He made the recommendation to replace the unit without trying to sell me a new one or sell me installation services, so I really did trust this recommendation. The service cost me ~$70, but it was well worth it. I felt prepared when I headed to Lowes to shop for a new one. read more

Trinity was sent to repair our washing machine via blue ribbon home warranty. The gentleman they sent brought his wife along on his first visit. He spent no time actually diagnosing the machine, he plugged it in and assumed that it was both a bad control panel and a bad pump. On his return visit, to install the parts, he was extremely strange. He refused to work on the washing machine if we watched him, and stormed out being rude... Without repairing the washer. The warranty company sent another company to repair our washer... And lo and behold it didn't have a single broken part. A baby sock had worked its way into the pump. The repairman removed the sock, reminded us to use washing bags for small items, and was on his way. We went two weeks without a working washer because Trinity didn't diagnose properly or service. If you have ever done that in a house with small kids you know how hard that is. No apologies, and no repair from Trinity... Just someone trying to rip off the warranty company who paid for the parts they claimed were needed. I wouldn't recommend them to repair anything. read more

A couple of years ago I noticed my freezer was getting warmer and warmer, and stuff was starting to thaw. After doing some research online I decided I'd give Trinity a try after clicking on one of their ads on Google. I liked that it was a small mom and pop sort of place. Richard showed-up at the time he said he would, and overall was a true professional. He figured-out the problem with my freezer quickly, had the replacement part with him, and gave me a fair price (and even showed me his book with pricing in it.. it's an industry standard type book which shows contractors how much to charge for repairs). He was careful about not creating a big mess, and cleaned everything up afterwards. Let's face it. I can be a bit silly. Sometimes I freak out about the potential that my geriatric appliances are TOTALLY BREAKING and I CAN'T AFFORD TO FIX THEM!! Here's an example; a few months ago, I called Trinity because my washing machine - he's more middle aged - was on the fritz. I spoke with Patty on the phone, and she was a doll. Then when the technician arrived he found the problem in about a minute. Operator error (mortification.). The most recent freak out happened just this week. I was baking to relieve stress, and nothing was turning out well. My cornbread was nearly blackened on the bottom and sides, and completely uncooked in the center. The same fate awaited my poor sugar cookies. Not a stress reliever. So, after much deliberation, chats with my gal pals, and nervously pacing to help swallow my pride, I called them. I again spoke with Patty, and she walked me through the steps to see if I needed any help. Again, a case of operator error. When I apologized to her for wasting her time, she said that she was happy to help. Thank goodness for kind, professional people. From this day forward, all of my ancient appliances, and freak outs due to them will be in the capable hands of the staff at Trinity. Whew. read more

September 2013: Just used Trinity Services, Inc. again, but for my dryer this time. I'll say it again: I I can't imagine that there is anyone out there better than Trinity. The service is prompt. The follow-up is great. And the customer service is absolutely impeccable. It's nice to have someone like Trinity to call when you're in a jam and you need something fixed quickly. Thanks, Trinity! December 2012: Okay. It's December 27th. 3:00 p.m. My heater has just gone out. Outside temperature: 23 degrees Fahrenheit. Projected low: 10 degrees. Absolute freaking anxiety attack. Panic. Cold. Panic. Colder. I call Trinity and speak with Patty. She very calmly assures me that someone is on the way. Really? A responsive appliance company? What does "on the way" mean anyway? Well, in Trinity's case, it means on the way - soon. Within less than an hour, Marcus from Trinity shows up. Friendly, polite, affable. Gets out, goes straight to the furnace, and voila - problem solved. Loose wire. Missing fuse. Whatever. Now, these companies have you in a tight spot. What are you going to do? Not pay them, not hire them? It's going to drop to freakin' 10 degrees. You're gonna hire whomever for whatever cost. Period. So, I expected to get hosed. Wrong again. $99.00. Heater working. Anxiety gone. Best money I've ever spent. And I'm publishing this review at 4:45 p.m. I can't imagine that there is anyone out there better than Trinity. In fact, I don't see how there could. Anymore these days it seems that it is harder and harder to find a company that in concerned with their integrity. We had the actual owner of the company come out to service our furnace and he explained everything very well from his add here on yelp to what he had found and the possibility of additional charges. But what amazed me was he was more concerned about not coming off like a scammer with his service call deal for yelpers! Although I told him I thought it was crystal clear he continued to brainstorm on ways to make it more than clear for people. So at the end of transaction our furnace was working again with minimal cost and parts needed and was well informed to the working parts of our furnace. As far as cost I think they are very competitive, not just labor charges but as we all know service is something we buy as well... read more

I searched on Yelp and several other places for a well rated appliance repair place. I saw that Trinity Appliance Service had a 5 star rating here and a very good rating with the BBB so I made an appointment with them. I live in Parker and they were willing to come out here from North Denver. They were great. Polite on the phone and accommodating. Richard came out and diagnosed my dishwasher problem and fixed it right away. He seemed friendly, trustworthy and honest. He found a few other issues and fixed them at no charge. So far so good. The dishwasher is working great now. I'll definitely call them again when we have other appliance problems. read more

I have used Trinity twice now. The first time I didn't actually have a repair done because it was on a washing machine that would have cost only a little more to replace, so that is what we did. But, I had to call them again to fix my refrigerator. They came out the next day, were professional and easy to talk to. Here is the BIG plus. If you have a repair done they waive the $65 service fee. How nice is that? Plus they had a $15 coupon on-line too. I called Trinity when the pilot light in my furnace wasn't staying on. Richard came out that same morning. Although Richard was great, my furnace wasn't. Richard showed me the crack in the heat exchanger and patiently explained how it happens and why I needed a new furnace. Trinity Services has been out to fix my refrigerator once, my freezer the next time and most recently, my HVAC. Each time they've quickly identified the issue and promptly fixed it. This last time, with the HVAC, I personally met the owner who was extremely knowledgeable and fixed my problem quickly, while giving me a lot of options and ideas as to what had gone wrong in the first place, and how to prevent it from happening again. It's hard to find a company with this kind of range and such exceptional services rendered. Even the scheduler on the phone is extremely polite and accommodating. We have a refrigerator with a bottom freezer with a door that rolls open. The back of the freezer kept icing up and we called Trinity to diagnose the problem. The tech kept in contact with me to let me know when he would be arriving since they initially provide you with a 4 hour window. He diagnosed the issue on the first visit and we scheduled a follow up visit a few days later to replace the part once he'd picked it up from the distributor. On the return visit the tech was delayed by other appointments, but again he kept updating me with the expected time-frame so at no point was I left in the dark. The repairs were quick and so far I haven't had any further issues with the freezer. There is an initial diagnosis fee, but this is eventually applied to your total repair cost. I would call Trinity again for future appliance repair. A couple of things to note: 1. There are coupons on their website, but it's impossible to read the fine print. That fine print lets you know that the coupon can't be used on any other discount. Our tech quoted me a price that was cheaper than his book price, so I couldn't use the coupon. This is a bit misleading and I've let the company know separately about this. 2. The final invoice doesn't outline the cost of all of the services very well. I'd like to see the original price listed (which I guess is the book price - but I don't know which book this is either), then the discount applied, and then the diagnosis fee applied as well. Instead the invoice is just one general charge. read more

Darn, this is my second attempt at writing this. Lost the last one by accident. The lady answering the phone, Patty, was so wonderful, patient, caring, informative and super friendly. She set me up for an appt. first thing the next morning with an excellent tech. The tech arrived first thing the next morning, he even called before arriving which gave me a chance to wake up a little better. Within 20 mins he knew what was wrong with my 5 yr old Maytag Bravo washer. It was rusted out and would cost around $500 to fix. He was very honest and told me it was probably better to just buy another machine. He went ahead and cleaned up as much rust as possible so that I could use it a few more times if needed. He even spared with me a little about politics, not afraid to tell me his opinion but very respectful about it. I was devestated (sp escapes me atm) about my washin machine since I was also one the fools that bought a Calypso (bad, bad, bad machine). The tech (his name also escapes me...perhaps I need a nap) told me very honestly, that a cheap, old-fashioned washer was probably one of the best buys for someone as broke as me. He explained that 1100rpms is no small fete so these machines tend to wear out faster than the older ones, but that the rusting just shouldn't have happened but was common due to use of cheap metal. There was a lot more, but the bottom line is, he was honest, up front and very, very helpful. Just like Patty and I will forever use this company when I need someone for this kind of service. Yes they are a tiny bit more costly than your typical cheapo place initially. But they put the estimate toward any work done, and saved me a ton in the long run with his honesty. He could've under estimated and then had me paying him a fortune for repairs if he'd wanted to. Not only that, but they do offer a guarantee on their work. Do not use. No customer service skills in technicians. Asked us to move around the washer and dryer, not him because he had an injured shoulder. Walked off the job and did not finish the repair or test the unit. Told me that himself. When I called the company back after the tech left for being angry that I reported him asking us to move the unit around and back in place for him I spoke with the owner. I asked the owner for a non-injured technician to come out and repair the washer and dryer and complete the repair that his other tech walked off the job. I am a single woman and the male tech wanted me to move the stackable washer/dryer unit for him. Owner of company stated on phone "he was sick of dealing with us people" Told me I was rude. Took a twenty minute phone call of arguing to get a commitment for a different technician to return monday and complete this repair job. I will have a broken washer for another 5 days. He said there was no one else available today or Friday morning between 8-12 to finish the job. Now I am waiting to the next business week, causing me to miss work hours for the third time. I will update if they keep their word and finish the repair. Update: Since I wrote a yelp review the owner called to say he will not complete the repair. Turns out the tech never even completed repair. Just pulled out my old parts and left the new parts on my W/D unit with the cover off. Completely inoperable. Stay away. As you can see below my original post, the owner of the company reached out to me to rectify the situation. He described the miscommunication that occurred and offered a quote for just the labor portion of the job. I declined Trinity's offer to service my dishwasher and made the relatively simple repair myself using the part Whirlpool sent to me. The reason I'm still only giving the company two stars is that they completely misdiagnosed the issue and had me order the wrong part. I gave a very detailed description of what was going wrong with my machine and was pretty sure it was a computer component that was failing. The person who ran the diagnostic on my dishwasher said that I needed a new control panel--the front part of the washer where you push the buttons. His suggestion was like recommending a new keyboard when your hard drive is failing. Needless to say, the new part didn't fix my problem and I can't go back to the manufacturer again to ask for another free part. read more

I called around yesterday to all the recommended repair companies for our faltering LG Dryer. All were full up for most of the week. Saw Trinity's great Google reviews referenced below their paid Google ad when I searched for other repair companies. Called them, they picked up immediately, and were extremely organized and pleasant. They set me up for an appointment this morning. Duane, the repairman, showed up right at the beginning of the repair time window, after calling me on my cell phone, as promised. He was a bit flustered by how far the parking was from the building entrance, but otherwise was very nice and seemed totally professional and knowledgeable. Went out of his way to show me what was wrong (it wasn't the dryer, but the venting to our roof), gave me the number of the dryer vent cleaning service they recommend (Mike at DryerVentDoctor.com), and went on his way. This is the 2nd time I've used Trinity and they are great to work with. My property is a rental, so I call to set up the payment and they schedule the appointment directly with the tenants. The tenants have given excellent feedback - they work quickly, show up within the scheduled time frame, clean up after themselves, etc. Patty is easy to work with and friendly. Ok, she's downright sweet. The service charge is waived if/when they fix the problem. I haven't shopped around, but I think the price is reasonable - they just cleaned the unit. They certainly could have dreamed up a problem, with an expensive repair bill, especially given my long distance proximity - but they didn't. The fact that they provide excellent service AND are trustworthy earns them a 5-star rating. read more

I highly recommend Trinity and I'm surprised to find any negative reviews on here at all. My A/C broke during the hottest week of the summer. Richard immediately returned my call (during his busiest season, obviously), got out to my house the next day, spent an hour and a half explaining the workings of an A/C unit (of which I had no prior knowledge), took my phone calls well into the evening that night to answer more questions as I tried to figure out what to do. In the end, his quote was much higher than that of the second opinion I got, so I ultimately went with another company to replace my entire A/C unit, but that's because Trinity doesn't sell a certain brand. Not his fault. Thank you, Richard, for being so incredibly helpful during my melt down (literally). I WILL call Trinity again should/when my next house failing calls for help. read more

We called Trinity when our dishwasher wouldn't drain. Although it took two calls (we called over the weekend the first time), they came out on time and it only took 45 minutes. The dishwasher could have been fixed, but since the parts were so expensive, they said just get a new one. Peter (repairman) was very polite. This is the second time we have called them (a dryer repair previously), and they will come out again quickly if it isn't completely fixed. Definitely recommend them. read more

Absolutely wonderful! I have a 15 month old GE dishwasher that came with my house and I've hated it since day one! I even had GE come out and look at it while it was still under warranty. It didn't get dishes clean enough and in order for it to get somewhat dry, I had to have all these special buttons pushed. But the GE tech said all the components were working fine. So I just dealt with it until I could afford a new one. Then a few weeks ago, it stopped draining. So I called up Trinity based on the Yelp reviews and I sure am glad I did. The appliance tech came in and was very courteous and friendly. He searched and tried different things and came to the conclusion that the installation itself was to blame. So he reconfigured some things and voila! It's working BETTER than new! I actually like it now. So in short, Trinity fixed something that the GE guy couldn't even fix! Now that's knowledge! I contacted Trinity Services to service my residential A/C unit which was not cooling like it used to. Richard arrived on time and was very courteous and professional. He examined my system and informed me that it was low on coolant. After examining the fittings at both ends of the system, Richard explained that there was a leak in the system and since it was not leaking at the fittings, it was most likely leaking at one of the coils. Given the age of the system, about thirty years, he said the he would add coolant but that it would not be worth repairing/replacing the coils. This is about what I was expecting to hear, given the age. Richard took his time to examine the system and also informed me that my duct work is too small for A/C and would be worth it to replace the take-offs when we decide to replace the furnace and A/C. I would recommend Trinity Services to any friend or family member. They were courteous, knowledgeable and professional. Richard took his time to ensure that my A/C was running as well as it could to buy me some time until I can save up the money to replace the system. read more

Enjoying a nice night at home, when water starts pouring from the lights in the kitchen ceiling. Not good. Race upstairs to find the washing machine door blown open, clothes everywhere, and water gushing out of the machine. Fast-forward to the next day, water still dripping into the various pots and pans assembled downstairs. I'm watching the Sears-recommended repairman trying to diagnose the problem. It's painful. He's trying to find an error code on the washing machine, but his crappy old laptop is taking forever to pull up the manual. He is clearly counting on the manual to save his neck, because he has no idea how to diagnose or fix the machine otherwise. After an hour or so of fiddling around, mostly with his laptop (he never even opens the washing machine), he puts his finger in the wind and declares the water level sensor to be at fault. Ignoring the fact that his diagnosis doesn't explain why he and I were able to run the machine once with no problems (and twice with), I agree to ordering the new part mostly to get him to leave, and he does. I immediately call Trinity (thanks Yelp!), and the next day Duane arrives. A knight in shining armor. First thing he does is open the washing machine and take ammeter readings everywhere as it's running. This guy means business. He is wearing knee pads! He calls some secret Samsung hotline and speaks what sounds like a different language to a presumably like-minded tech on the other end. We discuss the puzzling fact that sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I tell him about the other tech's diagnosis and he sniffs. After more tinkering and various test cycles, he's got it: the hot water valve is broken. Sure enough, it's been the cold cycles that have worked and the hot cycles that (mostly) haven't. He calls in the and the warehouse has the part, so we schedule an install for tomorrow morning. Now here's the best part. The next morning, about half an hour before our scheduled appointment, Duane calls. He's just left the warehouse, and it turns out they made a mistake and didn't actually have the part, so he has ordered it and is on the way to our house to put the machine back together so we can at least run cold cycles while we wait the extra few days for the part. What?! I tell him he doesn't need to come all the way over just to hook up the hose and screw the top back on, and he kind of insists until I insist more. A few days later, he's back with the part. Installed and everything put back nicely in about 10 minutes, and all for less than that stupid water level sensor cost. Duane is the best! read more

I found Trinity on Yelp and boy am I glad that I called them because they did a great job. My refrigerator went kaputt and I learned that I needed a new compressor, which with labor and everything would cost me about $850. Richard from Trinity came over and found an alternative way to fix the refrigerator (something about installing a boost for the compressor), and only charged from $250, which I found quite remarkable given that he could have charged me $600 more if he wanted. They came right when they said they would, did a great job, and charged me substantially less than I expected. How could it get any better? read more

Trinity was assigned to fix our dish washer by Xcel Eergy and the Home Smart program. The repairman they sent to my house turned a small problem into a big problem. Bottom line: I appreciate the work they did, and they were courteous and professional. However, the prices are above average and you can do better if you call around, but you're already committed with the $100 service call. I'd check around before calling them again. The good: they came out within a few hours and got the job done. The tech also was helpful in pointing out how to re-align my furnace filter to get more surface covering the intake. There was a separate issue where the motor was whining, and I was quoted for it. This was what I was initially expecting The bad: the price was above average it turns out, but I paid it at the time because I had no heat. $100 just to have my furnace inspected, and $275 total for a furnace ignition to be changed out. The part appears to cost $30-70 online and he was done in an hour, so I spent about $200 on labor, and I called a couple other places to get a quote and they said it would have been about $150-200. I also felt pressured to have a full furnace cleaning (it was written 3x on my bill) even though when I had my annual tuneup done last year I was told that "you could have it done but you don't really need it." I can't imagine so much dust/dirt accumulating in 1 year that the tech needed to tell me 3x in person about the option *and* writing it 3x on my bill... for another $275. This is also above-average on pricing. Keep in mind, I had told the tech that I had been out of work for over 4 months and was trying to keep bills to a minimum, and he still pressured me into a somewhat expensive preventative maintenance. The receptionist was pleasant and the tech explained everything and was clearly knowledgeable, but their pricing was high for simple repairs and I felt like he was trying to upsell. I'm admittedly sensitive to this sort of thing and really don't like it, and left a bad taste in my mouth over an easy repair. I'd use them again if other places were busy and I was in a pinch, but I'd check around first or do it myself if I were handy enough. read more

As Murphy touts, if it can go wrong it will, and that's just what happened to our furnace yesterday, leaving our house at a frigid 50 degrees. But truly, Trinity Appliance Service saved the day!!! After leaving a message on a Sunday, just before the Broncos started, I got a call back and scheduled a repair for and hour later. Not only did they fix the heating problem, they also repaired the fan and checked for Carbon Monoxide! This company is quick, reliable, friendly and goes above and beyond. read more
