There are a few parking spaces that run along the front of the store, but you most likely may have to park along the side streets. The showroom is large, and easy to navigate, especially during this COVID-19 time. My husband and I appreciated it. We walked around and looked at the various fireplaces and setups. We were then directed to an employee, Faye. She is a Hearth Design Specialist. She answered our questions, and gave us a card to one of their general contractors that they recommend. She gave us very useful information, more than the fireplace stores had told us. Things such as, we would need a contractor to build the frame, where the new fireplace would go. Other stores told us they would just pull out the old fireplace, and put in the new one. NO, we need to make sure that the frame would actually work for the new fireplace. Having a contractor is a must. We did further research, and yeppers, Faye was right. The employees are very nice. They know what they are doing, what they are talking about. It's easy to move around the showroom, with plenty of products to look at. They will answer your questions too. Will we be going back, most likely, after all of this COVID-19 is under control. Which is strange as when Jeff was on-site quoting the project he said they used high quality products that were windproof and we wouldn't have any problems. After we paid for the first repair of the chimney cap, it failed again. This time Cat told us the manufacturer didn't cover high winds. That didn't solve our problem. The installation and repair guys are great, as is the insert. But this being Colorado, I think they should have a much better plan and solution to this ongoing issue with the cap.

I contacted Frigidaire to get an idea of how much it would cost to fix, and they quoted me a $350 flat rate regardless of the issue. Considering my refrigerator cost $900 new, that felt like a lot. I decided to contact Columbine as they seemed to have a good reputation. They couldn't give me a quote over the phone without checking on the fridge (which mades sense to an extent, but I tried to get a range at least - which they would not give me), but would send a tech out. Just to look at things there was a $135 diagnostic fee, that (assuming I ultimately use them) would go toward whatever repair was need. This seemed potentially like a better deal so I scheduled a time for a tech to come out. Well the tech just left, after quoting me close to $900 to repair the refrigerator! $900 is literally the cost of the refrigerator new! He even told me that if there were other issues the cost could go up to $2000! I can't express how frustrated I am at this situation, and how absurdly expensive Columbine is. Had the person on the phone at least given me a range of potential costs I would never have gone with them. Now it's off to Frigidaire. In the end I will be spending close to $500 to fix a refrigerator that only cost $900.
