I ordered a hot honey chicken sandwich, and it was delicious and a great price. The customer service was excellent, and the restaurant was clean and welcoming, making it an all around great experience.

We had a few hours before catching our flight home and a friend brought us here for dinner. I really liked the vibe with the dim lighting, huge bar and cozy light blue bar seats. We sat at the bar and the seats were super comfy. We were here for hours! My husband and his friend enjoyed the Happy Hour beer specials and even though it was late in the day, I had the best Mimosa. For dinner, I had the Parmesan Crusted Chicken. I think it lacked a bit of flavor for my taste. The boys had burgers though and they absolutely loved them.

Sean helped turn the experience around. We walked in and no one came to read us or take our order. I ended up going to the front and getting menus, so we could move things along and that is where Sean came in apologized and got us our menus. We we were able to take part in the happy hour and had a few kids' meals and also got a few beverages, which were pretty decently tasty and strong. Overall, the experience was one where I definitely was encouraged to return and would look this place up again even though i'm usually not a fan of chain restaurants.

Cajun salmon and shrimp is the way to go! Fresh, delicious and hot! The potatoes on the side needs work though... tastes old. Steak wasn't great... wish it was seared better and not so fatty or dry. Eh. Fries were good! Drinks were bomb! Service could improve but I understand they were short staffed.

Went here for a working lunch with some coworkers. It was my first time at a bar Louie location and crazy enough, after this visit, I ended up going back that night to a different location randomly. Anyways, we ordered some calamari and then I got the salmon sliders. The calamari here was one of the best I've ever had. I like the seasoning they used and the sweet chili sauce for that Asian flair. It was really perfectly cooked. The salmon sliders were also delicious. Every bite had salmon and the aioli was really good. I got the truffle fries as well and I can never go wrong with a truffle fry tbh. Service was great. We were the first ones inside and even the manger came by our table to check on us and talk and she was really sweet. Will definitely return to this location.

Travel eats: Irving, TX. I'm up here for, you guessed it...another concert! This time it's at the Toyota Music Factory and needing a quick place to "pre-game" and wait for some friends to arrive- I ducked into Bar Louie. Now, I don't normally do chains, but...in this case I needed a place where I could be easily found and this fit the mark. Having said all of that...I enjoyed what I had in my quick pit stop for a couple drinks and something from the happy hour "bar bites" menu. Since I planned on doing a little drinking, I got the truffle fries thinking they'd be a solid absorption material (and if I was lucky) they'd be good. These truffle fries were amazing!!!! The fries were hot, crisp and perfectly topped with Parmesan cheese and other spices. But the absolute thing that made the dish was the truffle aioli...it was SO delicious! With every bite I wanted to let out and audible "mmmmm" but people would think I'm crazy. Anyway...can't vouch for anything other than the truffle fries, but damn...those were some good ass fries! Bring on the drinks and the tunes!

I'm back again to leave an awesome review for Monica and Frank. Love these folks. Could yall bring back the MVP bartender award and drinks? Loved how yall did that. Thanks!

I was initially hesitant to return to this location, assuming parking would be a hassle--but I was pleasantly surprised to find out they validate parking for several hours. Huge plus! The space has plenty of high tops and a large bar area, so we grabbed seats at the bar. Another happy surprise: we landed right at Happy Hour! They offer great specials on both drinks and food--and even have a reverse Happy Hour, which is awesome. I ordered a Dirty Martini, and my husband had a margarita-style martini--we were both impressed. We also shared the calamari, which was delicious. Light breading, perfectly crispy--not heavy at all. For my main dish, I had the chicken with artichokes and mushrooms in a creamy sauce (wish I remembered the name!). It was outstanding--a generous portion with plenty to take home. The staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to enjoy their jobs and one another, which made the atmosphere even more welcoming. Add it to the love list!

We sat at the bar and had prompt and attentive service from Devin. Very personable and offered suggestions off of the menu. Burgers(All Nighter & Truffle Crunch) were good as usual). Our draft beers were ICE cold!!

This month's Elite All-Star event took place at Bar Louie. My fellow Yelpers and I had the pleasure to taste new menu items. Please see the photo of all the new items. I think all of them will be a hit. Appetizers: My favorite was the bruschetta and the Margherita pizza. They will be my go-to. The choice of toppings for the bruschetta made it so flavorful. The Margherita pizza had a good amount of cheese which I love. Often times, I find that the cheese is scarce with that type of pizza. Main Course: If you like spicy, go with the BBQ chicken salad or the spicy chicken fundido. I like both, however, I'm not big on spicy. I'm not a fan of pretzels either but a fellow Yelpers said the Bavarian pretzels were good. He really liked the cheese sauce that came with them. The Louie's Cheesesteak was tasty but again, it could have used more cheese. Others were in agreement with me in that regard. Dessert: The triple chocolate cake was a bit much for me, but if you are a chocolate lover, you will love it. The strawberry cheesecake was to die for. You could tell it was freshly made. Drinks: The bartender did a presentation for us. He made the expresso old-fashioned. Very impressive. A lot goes into it. I can't speak on the taste because I'm a margarita girl myself. Side note: Shoutout to the bartender for winning Bartender of the Year. Now, the drink I did have, the raspberry lemonade margarita. Yes, yes and yes. It was very good. However, the most popular drink during this event was the dragon fruit margarita. So, be sure to check it out.

    Fantastic!

My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Tupelo Honey is a stand-alone restaurant conveniently located near Hwy 114 and 161. There's plenty of parking, outdoor seating, and a mixture of tables, booths, and bar seating. Speaking of the bar, it acts as a beautiful backdrop for the entire restaurant. 1 Star. Service - The service is always friendly. Our server is always smiling, and I can't help but feel welcome with southern charm. Tupelo Honey trains its staff well, and I really enjoy coming here and interacting with the staff. 1 Star. Food - I always begin with the Biscuits with a Cause. These light, flakey biscuits are served warm with a crispy exterior and soft, flakey inside. But honestly, the biscuits act as a delivery mechanism for the butter and blue berry jam. I always ask for an extra side of butter and jam because I use it all. On my most recent visit, I ordered the Honey Dusted Fried Chicken (dark). The chicken was perfectly fried, crispy, and sweet. And the dark meat was juicy. Pro Tips - use your hands. Another great dish was experienced. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. I have yet to have a below average dish at Tupelo Honey. Yes, it's a chain. But it's also a darn good chain that keeps its menu fresh and is worth multiple visits. 1 Star.

The combination of service, specials, and amazing Texas spring weather makes this a repeatable restaurant in my rotation. 1 Star.

We got a few appetizers, Hiramasa roll was incredible, the yellowtail tuna was fresh and the sushi rice was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Shishito peppers was perfectly charred. For main course, I got the lobster roll with a side of fries. The fries were cooked well with a nice hint of rosemary but the lobster roll was okay. The roll was toasted well but the lobster was underwhelming. It was bland. I wish there were also bigger pieces of lobster meat.
