Bar Margot is located on the 2nd floor of the Four Seasons, the best option for parking is to valet with the hotel. After 5pm, you can valet (with validation) for only $5. The vibe inside is really nice, it's luxurious yet comfortable. Our server was truly fantastic, super nice and really knowledgeable about the menu and drink; he gave us several recommendations that we really enjoyed. They have a great bar menu with lots of cocktails and an extensive wine list. Bread service: I say skip this. You really don't get much for the price you pay. Deviled eggs: pretty good! It's perfect for 2 people because they're are 4 halves total. It also comes with a tasty prosciutto Per our servers recommendation, I ordered the Chicken Supreme; for the most part it was really tasty! The only things I did not like about it was (1) the grit cake was incredibly bland and (2) the chicken was seasoned a bit on the salty side. Other than that, the cheese sauce was really flavorful and pulled the dish together. When I ordered, I couldn't decide between this and the scallops so the server offered to throw a scallop or two on my plate. BIG WIN! My husband ordered the salmon (failed to get a photo) and I thought it was good, but kind of dry. It was an average dish, in my opinion. Honestly, if I had the option to give this place 3.5 stars I would. I recently hosted a private event at this venue for the alumni association for my university. The staff was well prepared for our event we had over 100 guests in attendance and the venue comfortably contained all of us. There was also a coat check which was very helpful since temperatures that night in Atlanta dropped down to the 20s. The venue is located upstairs on the second floor of the hotel very easy to get to and a very classy establishment that catches your eye. The lightning created an ambiance that is very sexy and casual all at the same time very upscale setting. The menu items I tried were the charcuterie, deviled eggs, crab toast, chicken wings and sliders. The assorted cheeses were great and they have lots of dried fruit crackers available to pair with it. That crap toast was very delicious huge chunks of crab meat and a crispy thin piece of toast simply amazing. The chicken wings were a little dry not the best wings but I enjoyed them. The burger was The best item in my opinion it was juicy and prepared medium well and melted in your mouth. I'll definitely be back here if I'm in the city. We celebrated my daughter 21st birthday today at Bar Margot located in the Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta, and I have to say, "it was nothing short of amazing". They honored every single request that I made and went above and beyond to make this day special for her, including offering food choices for us to accommodate diet restrictions. Honestly, the entire management team represented the Marriott brand in a way that I've grown to expect, especially Sherrie. But, I have to give a special thanks to Andrew, our bar tender, and server. He was so attentive to my daughter and shared his knowledge appropriately so that she could make the best choices for her. His candor was refreshing, and sincere, which makes all the difference. This is located inside the Four Seasons hotel and the interior is beautiful. The liquor section is all lit up and the bar area looks really nice. Once you go into the hotel, you can walk up the large set of stairs and Bar Margot is on the second level. It's not too hard to find and the bathrooms are right across from it. The bathrooms are also super nice and clean here. The bartender was really helpful and we tried a few of their signature cocktails. The bartender said none of them are sweet. The drinks here are more fragrant and herbal. I don't think you will enjoy the cocktails if you solely like super fruity, really sweet drinks. But they were interesting and unique. We also got some whiskey on the rocks and they have some really pricey selections here. One of the drinks we tried had Thai Basil in it and the drink tasted like Thai food lol I don't know how to explain it accurately. It didn't even taste like a drink. We let the bartender know and she took it off the tab, which was very nice and accommodating. Great service and great ambiance/environment. Took my mother out to eat because you sometimes have to treat your parents! I had to move our reservations like three times because we always run late to things. When we got there the lady at the front told us that she was actually just going to call us and told us not to worry. The service was excellent and our waiter was super attentive. We got the House Grind Burger and it tasted great! If you come during dinner and don't see it on the menu, they will still be able to make it for you, you just need to ask. The fries were a bit salty but other than that it was pretty good. The two of us shared the dish because it was a good amount of food. I got the non-alcoholic version of Queen Victoria and loved that as well. It was basically like a lime drink but not too sour. The Biscoff Cream Pie was one of the best desserts I've had so far. The presentation was beautiful and it tasted amazing. The taste of banana isn't too overpowering and the dessert was very light. The only bad thing was that the dish was too small so we finished it really quickly. Overall, this is a great experience if you want to have a celebration or anniversary. It's a place to go if you're just looking for a bar on the weekends as well. I received my bill at 6:32... and it came with a souvenir... a postcard Gloria was very poised. Sweet and friendly without being talkative. She gave me space but I never sat in need of anything. You walk into Bar Margot and immediately feel like you've been transported back to a simpler time, where gentlemen and ladies would gather for a cocktail or a good cigar to lament the day's work. Beyond that, they have a great menu full of flavor, savory, sweet items that are fun to experience, like, the deviled eggs that were creamy, yet so rich and savory. It's a must try. We followed it up with the pork belly that was tender with pickled onions to give it some bite, as well as a nutty, salty, sweet sauce. We switched gears from appetizers to a charcuterie board full of interesting offerings, like duck, wild boar, and tomme cheese, to Gouda. They were all good, but the duck prosciutto took the cake with the right amount of meat and fat, plus pair that with the gouda and you've got perfection. We went all-in for the entrée and swung for the lamb T-bone. Good. Choice. The lamb was perfectly cooked and the bone added a ton more flavor without too much game on the back end. Top that with a sweet balsamic-like sauce that gave it depth beyond the savory of the lamb. Finally, they offer a variety of sorbets and we opted for the pina colada. It may or may not had rum. It was smooth, creamy like you'd find in a pina colada drink, but more rich and thick, topped with fresh pineapple to give it a little sweet kick. Again, it may or may not have had rum. I am not on the Margot train here! Found this bar to be lackluster on numerous points. It's not necessary horrible, but just not worth the money in my opinion. THIS IS A FIVE STAR HOTEL? Now, I know this is not directly related to the bar, but since it's inside the Four Seasons, I simply had to comment. The decor looks so dated and old, I would have never expected this to be a Four Seasons property. My personal opinion is that even when this post modern property was built, they skipped out on investing the quality of design. The bar, despite having been remodeled holds no comparison to some of the finer bars in Atlanta and other cities either. Take simple examples, like the St Regis bar that sets a different bar for comparison. No pun intended. VERY VERY OVERPRICED. The wine menu was marked up ridiculously, for no apparent reason. Multiples of four times the cost of the same bottles and they stock only the finer wines, meaning, you better be ready to drop some cash. SERVER DIDNT EVEN COME. Our server disappeared completely and didn't even come to the table, so I left and didn't want to cause a scene. Unacceptable experience when they are already not investing into proper renovations (note the word proper) and stocking very expensive wines. Service should be flawless. read more

They list the "chips" in parentheses on the menu because they are potato wedges rather than fries but they were delicious. My friend's sandwich was also very good. For some reason I'm a big fan of hotel lobby bars. The bartenders are usually very nice, it's ok to drink alone and you end up meeting some great people. Bar Margot is not just your typical hotel bar. The bar there before was already a great place to mingle, but the addition of a great food menu elevates the experience. They still have a wonderful bar program if a beverage is all you are in the mood for. There is a great selection of small bites including charcuterie and my favorite shishito peppers! The peppers could have been a little bit more blistered, but still tasty. If you have a larger appetite they offer pastas and a few entrees. I opted for the cacio pepe and oh my was it yummy! I'm glad I added scallops because the portion is a little on the small side. My husband wanted the short rib, but also wanted pasta so he ordered the short rib ragu...problem solved! He loved and I also thought it was tasty. I'm not a dessert person, but since we were celebrating our anniversary we ordered the biscoff creme pie was soooo good!
