The French toast was ok but could have used a little more flavor (ie cinnamon, vanilla, etc). The syrup was a very good grade of maple syrup and tasted so good. I did add 2 eggs for $6. Lastly had the breakfast croissant sandwich with grits. The sandwich was good I did substitute the regular sausage for chicken sausage. The chicken sausage was delicious. We were seated in a back room with a view of the lake behind. It was a bit loud but most places are these days. I am deaf in one of my ears so one I told our server & she spoke up over the noise and it was a non-issue. Appreciated because that's not always the case. We ordered a glass of wine and the "Shirley After Dark" cocktail (I know it's a wine bar but I just felt like a cocktail) loved it. Would absolutely order it again. We ordered the house salad which was far from basic and delicious and fresh. Very light and decent size. My husband also aired the Cauliflower app which was massive. The hummus was delicious.
