Although on the pricey side, you can't beat the service. If you plan on going to get a great view to watch the fireworks you need to make a reservation. Located at the top of the helios hotel at Universal this is the one of the Better places to eat in universal. The food is served tapas style so we ordered a few plates to try. We loved the cheese plate starter made with farmers cheese, honeycomb and foccacia. I would go again just for this! We tried The zucchini flowers , but not our style but good and the beef medallians cooked perfectly medium rare. I was a little disappointed we didn't get our scallops because they were sold out, but that only means they must be delicious. Dessert was made tableside and included liquid nitrogen that which the seven year old gladly smashed. While you're waiting for dessert, enjoy the spectacular views. Above all, the service from our server was top notch.

Great deal for magical dining! We loved trying different items throughout the menu! We tried the farmers cheese and the patatas bravas for the appetizer and also added a half dozen raw oysters with the pink peppercorn mignonette! The oysters were surprisingly good along with the other appetizers. I had the beef medallions as my entree and they were perfectly cooked medium rare. We had the chocolate dessert and the opera cake. Both were delicious! Overall I thought the magical dining was a great deal and we had a great time! Lots of delicious flavors throughout the every dish we tried. Our server Ben was very nice and accommodating! We definitely recommend for a nice dinner in Orlando.

Somewhat of a small plate place. I was seated at the bar, which I dislike. I ordered the lamb chops. Teeny tiny chops Good for two bites. Received three, served with some awful green sauce, baby onions, and tomatoes. I finished, went to a place in the hotel, and got a ham sandwich with two waters and a Diet Coke. I was pushing a hundred dollars for just me. Lesson well learned.

Amazing restaurant with beautiful views. I highly recommend sitting outside. Even in July when it's scorching hot, there is airflow so I did not sweat sitting outside. The main benefit of sitting outside is you have a gorgeous view of the entire park. Being that we haven't been to the park yet it allowed me to see an aerial view of all the lands. It was also quite entertaining for my kids. I was afraid that this place would be packed but at 5 PM we were the only table outside by the time we left at around 6:30 there were three other tables out there. Inside is beautiful too, but I think outside is where it's at. Our server was absolutely phenomenal. He was attentive and checked in the right amount of time. We ended up getting chicken tenders and fries for the kids to share. Pro tip is there is a kids menu. They just don't advertise it. They don't have printed kids menus, but the server was able to tell us what the options for the kids were. Off the top of my head I believe there was chicken tenders, grilled chicken, and pasta with either cream sauce or red sauce. They all came with either fries or a fruit cup. Then my husband and I got a seafood tower to share. It was a good amount of food for two people, we left absolutely stuffed. The oysters were phenomenal. I loved the tuna sashimi, and the crab was great. All in all a fantastic choice. The drinks are also delicious. I tried the feta cheese drink, which lived up to the hype. It's definitely a unique drink, but if you like feta cheese, you'll absolutely love it. My husband got an old-fashioned and enjoyed it. We were celebrating my son's birthday so he got complimentary gelato. I thought the gelato was amazing and would recommend. This place is a must go to if you were staying at the hotel. Everything was great and I definitely want to come back.

Very nice and contemporary accommodations. Pretty good view, a little obstructed. I give the observation area a 6/10 as it's hard to see due to the layout. The service was very professional but maybe a little aloof. The food was good but for the price, we really expected it to be spectacular. It was a great one time experience but probably won't be back. Also, warning! To get parking validated and not have to pay the daily $125 fee you have to spend at least $75 per vehicle. We had 2 vehicles as we met there. We had to go down to the gelato place and get something in order to meet the requirements.

We made a reservation for magical dining! The restaurant has a celestial theme that matches the ethereal feel of Epic. Being so high up made me feel like I was dining up among the constellations. Such intentional design choices added to ambience. Our waiter Ben, was attentive at every step, making for a very pleasant experience. For the appetizer, I ordered the farmers cheese: whipped farmers cheese, honeycomb, pistachio, seasonal fruit: grapefruit, and strawberries, and grilled-to-perfection focaccia. It was last meal good; seriously one of the best appetizers I've ever had. The cheese was smooth and salty- not like intensely salty. The combination of the honeycomb, fruit and cheese was heavenly. It was absolutely delicious- so many perfectly balanced textures. We also ordered the oysters, the sauce was tangy and delicious, I especially enjoyed the crisp onion on top. I order the Pan Seared Diver Scallops as the entree, they were browned on top and tender inside, I wanted to savor every bite. I was able to taste the citrus more prominently than the dill in the foam on top. The polenta was a warm, comforting touch. I didn't care for the cheese cracker thing, but the presentation was gorgeous. For dessert I had the Mount Vesuvius- I loved the drama of the hot carmel on the chocolate sphere. The chocolate was rich and creamy. I will definitely be returning.

This was one of the best meals I have had in a long time. Every single thing I ate was incredible and the bar was beautiful. It also has a great view of the park if you want to see the closing ceremonies! Even though this place is pricey it is 10/10 worth it, make sure to get the mussels if you go and sit at the bar so you can view the beautiful artwork on the ceiling!

This restaurant is by far the nicest restaurant in any theme park! You can access the rooftop restaurant and bar from either inside of Epic Universe, as a guest of the hotel or as a regular patron. The aesthetic is truly beautiful and it's a great atmosphere. The bites and drinks were delicious! I couldn't give it a full 5 stars because the service was a little lacking. Our server was inattentive but the hostess were great! I'd probably be back more if they offered a happy hour.

We reserved a table here via Resy, for 7:30pm on a Monday, and it wasn't too busy. We chose to sit inside due to the windier night and still had a great view of the park. The inside tables near the park side are on a platform so we could see sections of the park which is so beautiful at night with all the lights on. We arrived 5 min before our reservation and were seated right away. The inside is beautifully decorated, with a ceiling of constellations and names of I heard people who built the area. Using Google Translate was fun to see the names of the people on the ceiling. Our server Luke was attentive, quick to refill waters and provided recommendations. Our drinks and food came out quickly. They were accommodating and informative regarding allergies. For two adults with alcoholic drink each, and we ordered the mussels, duck empanadillas, grilled octopus and the beef skewer. All dishes were delicious but our favorite was the beef skewer. Mussels were great and we loved the sauce, octopus slightly overcooked but had a great char on it. Duck empanadillas also delicious. The total for 2 for all the above was $150 not including tip. Be prepared to pay for the experience and the view, but food was good but servings smaller.

One of the most incredible views of epic universe. It is a great place to grab a snack or a dessert or a drink. Staff are incredibly nice. The views are impeccable and the food prep is amazing. One of my favorite places at universal

Bar Helios is the rooftop restaurant and bar inside Universal Helios Grand Hotel, and it offers an elevated dining experience with one of the best views of Epic Universe. We walked into a space with a modern, upscale design, a glowing ceiling, a sleek circular bar, and a mix of indoor and outdoor seating that creates a more relaxed atmosphere compared to the energy of the theme park below. The design feels polished and intentional, and the transition from the hotel lobby to the rooftop is seamless, with the view becoming the centerpiece as soon as you step outside. The biggest highlight is the view. Sitting above Epic Universe gave the restaurant a unique perspective, especially at night when the park lights and nighttime shows created a completely different atmosphere. The outdoor seating is the ideal spot to take in the surroundings, and we found ourselves lingering at the table long after we finished our meal just to watch the park below. The interior still feels impressive with its polished design and attention to detail, but the outdoor area is where the experience truly comes alive. The food menu leans more toward shareable plates and elevated dishes rather than typical theme park dining. We started with the farmer's cheese with honey and pistachio, which stood out as a memorable starter with a good balance of sweet and savory flavors. Other dishes like the crab cake, calamari, beef skewers, and tomahawk offered a mix of options for sharing, making it a good place to order several plates across the table. The quality of the food was a step above what you might expect from a hotel restaurant, and the portions were well sized for sharing. The drinks are also a major part of the experience, with cocktails that match the setting and the overall style of the restaurant, each one thoughtfully composed and presented. Service plays a big role here, and the experience felt much closer to a hotel restaurant than a park stop. The staff was attentive and the pacing worked well for a longer dinner, especially when we were looking to take a break from walking around Epic Universe. The team guided us through the menu without being pushy, and the pacing of the meal allowed us to enjoy the view and the food without feeling rushed. Reservations are worth considering, especially around peak hours or if you want a specific table with a view. Bar Helios is less about a quick meal and more about the full experience. The combination of rooftop views, creative food, strong drinks, and the atmosphere makes it one of the more memorable dining options connected to Universal Epic Universe. It offers a chance to step back from the intensity of the park and enjoy a meal that feels considered and complete, with a setting that enhances the entire visit.

Bar Hellos completely exceeded my expectations. The drinks are absolutely amazing and so thoughtfully crafted. The Aphrodite is hands down the best drink on the menu and officially my all time favorite drink. The balance of flavors is perfect and it is beautifully presented. Plus, you cannot beat the view of Epic Universe! The farmers cheese is just as incredible. It is fresh, flavorful, and pairs perfectly with the drinks. It is one of those dishes that you keep thinking about long after you leave. The service is a little slow, but the staff is friendly and the overall experience is still wonderful. The quality of the drinks and food more than makes up for the wait. I cannot wait to go back and order both again.

We stopped in at bar Helios during our visit to epic and it was so beautiful! The view is so nice and a nice escape while we waited out the rain. The drinks were delicious. We didn't have reservations but luckily there were seats at the bar so service was pretty quick.

We went in to order since I had a few questions, and the staff couldn't have been nicer, even with how busy it was. There's no indoor seating, but there are a few tables outside if you want to hang out while you wait or eat there. (We ordered then walked over to Runabout Brewing for a beer while we waited) We went all in with the family deal: 50 wings, 2 fries, and 4 drinks. The wings were big, crispy, and cooked just right. We tried a mix of flavors: KB's Secret Rub (dry rub), That Honey Garlic, That Lemon Pepper, KB's Sweet Heat, and That Fiery Garlic Parm. The standout favorite for our group was That Honey Garlic, while the Lemon Pepper didn't quite hit the same for our group. The other three flavors were also very delicious! The fries were just as tasty.. crinkle cut and crispy. We got both the plain and the "secret rub" fries, and honestly, no complaints on either (the secret rub has a slightly sweet, BBQ-style flavor). The homemade dipping sauces were a nice bonus too. The ranch leans heavy on dill (in a good way) and the blue cheese has the perfect tang. Overall, I'm a big fan. I'll definitely be back and recommending it to anyone craving solid wings! (another thing to note: it's a cashless restaurant)

There were no customers when we arrived, so I was skeptical. But the staff assured me we were at the right place for wings. They sold me on their sauces being authentic and house made. So I tried. Place could've been a five star review but the sauce on the Honey Garlic (preponderance of the order) was not what I was accustomed to. Not enough honey and it seemed to buttery - almost like it would be better on crabs. Great blue cheese dip But loved the staff and service. Would return and get a dry wing.

It was 30 minutes from our hotel, so I was hopeful that it wouldn't disappoint! We got there relatively early (20 minutes after they opened for the day), and nobody else was there, so that was kind of awkward, as was being told to order from a kiosk (or use the QR code at the table), rather than give my order to a human. But the kiosk allowed us to kind of 'shop' before making our decision, so that was good. Since we were the only customers, everything came out fast and fresh (in fact, his came out a few minutes before mine, so I had to steal his fries until mine came out, lol) Hubs got the Ultimate Smash Burger and Fries, which was delicious. Soft bun, big burger, delicious fries. I got the Chicken Dippers, and y'all - they were HUGE! And you got SIX of them! I ended up only eating two of the tenders, and brought the other 4 home for leftovers. The staff were all super-friendly and attentive. They gave me a box/bag for my leftovers, and bussed our trays when we were done. Seating is ALL tables, so if you're a "Booth Person" you might be bummed. But the seats were comfy, even on a bigger tushie like mine. Paper towels, salt & pepper, and ketchup were on the tables. The only 'con' for me was the hush puppies... it had pieces of corn in it. This is a personal preference, of course, but I like my HPs without pieces of corn or onions, so I didn't ding them for that! Great job to everyone here, everything was delicious. He also says it starts at 3:30 and not 3...so he had to go back to check and ask. He also had to "check" if he could "find" happy hour menu; no. So he looked in the register. Nothing; lunch hour prices still populated the system. That said, he asked us three times what we wanted. Drinks? Food? Anything to drink yet? I also asked our dear fella if it's Wing Thursday... uh: "oh, yeah." So the Queen Bee was in the mood for wings. Dry Rub #2, all flats. She said they were "okay." I didn't want any, so I can only hope she did like 'em. They came with the driest and most bland focaccia bread I've had occasion to try in a long time. Simon didn't bother to ask how they were either. I meantime chose to have a 16" half pepperoni (thick-cut) half Paulie's. The latter is meatball, sausage, ricotta and peppers (hot or sweet). They advertise their pies as being well done. Guess what? It wasn't...no char or barely a spot of black on it whatsoever. It was still passable, but for $28 TOTALLY not worth it. It also came out AFTER my dear Queen Bee finished her five little wings. I'll guess the pizza guy was in just as much a hurry as Simon was. We were gonna sit and have a glass of wine (her) and a draft (me). All they had on draught was Bud Light, Sam Adams, Voodoo Ranger and Stella...no thanks! "Uh: you wanna box for the pizza?" So Simon whipped just out the box for the rest of our pizza (4 slices left) and handed me the tablet and just stood there waiting to get it back. Did he ask whether we liked it? Let's just say his level of service was reflected by my level of gratuity. I said to him "I guess you're in a hurry, ain't you, Simon?" It went over his head, as did pretty much everything else in our limited conversations. He asked if we wanted "rewards" for it. No; why would I? Simon totally ruined our time there. Reward enough would be someone teaching that kid how to serve with manners and grace. So THIS experience tells me where NOT to go next time we pass through the neighborhood. Keep your rewards, Anthony. Save 'em for someone ELSE. I'll just take half the underdone pie home and heat it like it should be...or give it to a homeless man on the way home. I've eaten better pizza out of a gas fired oven.
