You can get a hot dog AND a tattoo at this bar at the same time. Drinks were ok. Service was mediocre. It was bright and felt like we were at the doctor's office. But it was quite the show.

Looking for a place to hang out on a Friday night but don't want it to be too crazy crowded then check out moxybar part of Moxy hotel in Seattle. Service was 10/10.

went here on a whim around 6 pm on a Wednesday. When we first got there it was quite busy but in 30min-an hour it died down a bit. I honestly loved the interior and vibe of this bar. I had been dying to go for so long and am glad it was a good time. The drinks were expensive but it was still a good time. Would definitely try this place out again!

I came here recently for a Yelp Elite event and I was SO impressed by both the quality of the drinks, the service and the general atmosphere. The location of this quaint bar is fabulous (right in the heart of Amazonland), but unlike a lot of the other crazy bar locations around here the vibe was very laid-back (which I enjoyed). The space itself is part of the open lobby of the Hotel Moxy, and felt more like a cozy living room than a hotel. Jerry, the hotel manager and our host for the evening, was very welcoming and seemed genuinely interested in ensuring everyone had a good time. I had two of the house cocktails ("Got Moxy" and "Moxy Mule") and they were both very tasty, although the first one would have probably been too sweet if I didn't follow it up with the mule which was nice and heavy on the ginger to balance out my palate. I didn't tour the rooms, but my fellow Yelpers seemed to think they were more euro-style (think smaller, limited amenities), which is fitting as the hotel seemed to be focusing on attracting patrons that would not be the type to hang out in their room the entire time. Everything had a bit of a "urban camping" vibe throughout the lobby and hotel rooms, and there are lots of different seating spaces and board games throughout that are designed to get you interacting with fellow guests. Another bonus: If you're a Marriott Rewards member, you can earn and redeem your points here! The bar staff were so friendly and quick on service that I will definitely be returning for happy hour very soon!

We ordered the whipped feta dip, the artichoke dip, the pepperoni flatbread and the prosciutto apple flatbread all of those were freaking delicious amazing. This place has so much potential if they improved their service. The service was so bad it took 45 min to get our first round of drinks. Our server was really nice but maybe stretched too thin bc she forgot to put our order in and threw away her paper that she wrote it on so she had to come re take our order. We had full intentions of ordering entrees from here but they were out of the main dishes. Just seems like the kitchen manager isn't planning well, staff doesn't have help from management. The only thing keeping this restaurant afloat is the view and the DJ

The covered outdoor area didn't look open to the public, so we were glad to have a spot inside. The bar is dark and moody, but still modern and vibrant at the same time. They have lovely, creative drinks. I got a pineapple tequila smokey cocktail and it was SO good! Drinks run about $20, but this seems more standard in seattle these days. They also have a lovely happy hour that we just barely missed, but would definitely come back to try. Such a great spot for casual conversation, good drinks, and a breathtaking view. Something about watching the boats and planes and the waves is just gorgeous. Note- the 20% tip is pre-loaded onto the bill, so any tip you add is on top of that 20%!

The whole space has this intimate, luxurious atmosphere that makes the experience feel special the moment you walk in. And then we get the check and they automatically add 22%...if you are a quality establishment offering exceptional customer service, you don't need to tell me what to tip...guess you are not. And they they have the nerve to ask me if I want to tip another 18%, 20%, or 25% when I sign the check on their Toast device... Instagram : @yeapeats…read more I was excited to try Needle & Thread since it's often described as a speakeasy, but the "hidden" aspect didn't quite live up to expectations. Unlike other speakeasies that feel truly hidden, you actually just walk into Tavern Law, check in with the hostess, and let them know you have a reservation. They then guide you to a telephone where you repeat your reservation name before being let upstairs. It's a fun concept, but not especially secretive, and they're pretty strict about not letting you up early unless it's very empty. Once seated, we actually waited almost 20 minutes before being served with no acknowledgement. We ended up having to flag down the manager just to bring attention to our table, which was disappointing given the experience they're aiming for. The waitress asks a series of questions about your preferences--likes, dislikes, and flavor inspirations--so the bartenders can create custom cocktails for you. If you're knowledgeable about alcohol, this is probably a dream. If you're not (like me), it can feel a little intimidating, but our waitress was patient and did her best to guide us through it. The drinks themselves were excellent. Even the shots were customized, which was a nice touch. The vibe upstairs is chill and relatively quiet, making it a great place to relax and talk. Food is the same menu as downstairs at Tavern Law, so nothing new there. The only downside--and unfortunately a noticeable one--was an interaction with the female bartender (not our waitress). Based on the questions we were asked, my friend gave a mix of savory and sweet preferences, since we were told these were just inspirations. However, the female bartender came over sounding visibly annoyed and said, "So do you want savory or sweet? You're giving contradicting answers." The tone felt unnecessarily rude, especially since we were just following the process as it was explained to us. Overall, the drinks were great and the concept is unique, but between the delayed service and that negative interaction, it definitely put a damper on the experience.

First off, the waitress and aesthetic were excellent…read more My only complaint is that while the drinks are quite good, for a 60 minute reservation, it took 20 minutes for us to get a drink. The dessert arrived before our "bespoke cocktails".

I was so excited by the experience that I made a reservation to bring my partner there to end our anniversary night. I was expecting something more intimate and exclusive, especially since that was how it was presented during the Yelp event. When we arrived at the speakeasy at our reserved time, we were told it was not ready yet. We ended up waiting longer than expected, and when we finally received the text to come down, the door was already opening for a party that arrived after us. A big part of the Founders Club experience is the bookshelf entrance, and I had really hoped my partner could experience that excitement for the first time, but it ended up feeling a bit anticlimactic. Once inside, the space itself is nicely done and intimate, and the service was generally good. Prices are quite high for what we ordered, though they do provide complimentary fancy nuts, which was a nice touch.
