I cheated on Yuna (from Strawberry Nails directly across the street!) and decided to pay a visit here for my bi-weekly gel mani/pedi. They were offering a Grand Opening special by giving a 30% discount on all services. The bill came to $33, I'm glad I didn't pay full price otherwise I would have been highly upset. The place looks nice except the cheap pedicure chairs. Their nail polish collection is extensive and there is a mini bar located at the front of the salon, which is cool. The service however is below average. The woman who did my mani/pedi did a great job on my foot massage, but when it came time to apply polish to my toes she did a sloppy job. She did an even more horrendous job on the gel polish for my nails. She had no idea what she was doing and kept painting over her mistakes which left the nail polish way too thick and spotty. I couldn't stand looking at them so I went back to Strawberry Nails, across the street, the following weekend and had my nails redone! Plus all the technicians dress like they're running an escort service after hours?! Very strange... read more

I went here with my mom and dad we wanted to try this place out since it is a new nail salon in the area.We normally go to Strawberry Nails across the street. First impression on a Sunday afternoon. Not busy but the place looks clean, bright and the nail polishes are against the left wall. There is some gel nail polish at the from of the reception desk but my mom and I had to ask for the other gel colors. The nail technician said she had all the gel nail polish but not the ones that are labeled 500 and up. The Bar area- not clean. A lot of things were on the bar that should not have been there. For example there was take out menus on the bar and store calling cards were all over the place. Pedicure chair- advance chair where you can charge your cell phone (pretty cool) However, I would have liked an introduction on how to use it since its a new type of chair and the nail technician did not move the chair to my height so it felt like I was too close. So I moved the chair to my liking but not sure if it was correct since I kept moving it forward and back when the nail technician was doing my pedicure. I was also wearing a dress, and I was not given a towel or anything to cover my legs. Spa pedicure- massages can be better- but I guess this depends on the nail technician you get. There was a lot of different scrubs, lotion and oils the technician used and we were able to pick the scent. I wanted the cappuccino smell and it smelled great. My dad got the mango guava and he said he liked it. Also during the SPA pedicure there was times when the towel was hot and then the towel was on for too long so my legs got cold. My dad said when he was getting his spa that he kept putting his feet in and out of the water and it was not relaxing to him. side note, all three of us wanted SPA pedicures and manicures. My dad was the only one that received his manicure at his seat. He stated he did not like that and he was not relaxed at all. He said he kept turning to his right where the nail technician was doing his manicure. He also came out with a lot of cuts around his cuticles which I felt really bad. My dad just got out of the hospital and just wanted to relax and he didn't have a good experience. Music- was too loud.. And it was like upbeat music which was fine but an ideal type of music at a manicure and pedicure salon would be background music whatever it is. I personally like soft soothing music playing in the background. And because we were the only three customers in there you would think the music would not be so loud. There was also kids running around. I think this was one of the technicians kids and they were running around. I do not mind kids at the nail salon I just wouldn't have them running around disturbing customers. Some people come to the nail salon for a relaxing quiet time. The manager did work hard to get the EAGLES games on for us. The box was at the front of the salon and he was nice enough to try and put the EAGLES games on when we were getting our pedicures done. Overall this place is still new and I guess still working out the kinks but I think this nail salon has a lot of potential. I will review again in a couple of months. read more

Bella did an amazing job with my eyelash extensions. I will say I'm very sensitive and felt a little irritation initially but today is the second day of wearing them and I have no irritation any more. She was very careful with their placement and I'm soooo happy with them. It's amazing how much difference your eyelashes make. I don't wear a lot of makeup ever and I feel like this is going to be my solution. My eyes look so pretty and I don't need to wear any mascara at all. She really takes her time and listens- definitely understands the anatomy of how your lashes should lie on your eyes to make sure they don't fall off or irritate once they're settled. If you're looking for a reasonable price and amazing result definitely get eyelash extensions from Bella. read more

I literally left Garden Nail & Spa because they had me waiting for an hour after my scheduled appointment and I don't regret it. This was my first visit so I can't speak to the 'bar' part because I didn't see one. The place was clean, they took me immediately and were very friendly. Angela did my nails and I couldn't be more pleased. She's very attentive to details and freely gave her opinion when I asked. I'd highly recommend her and this salon. Best nail salon in Hatboro, hands down! Bella is the nail queen, I'm completely loyal to her. She is so sweet and has a great personality. I am always happy with the shape and color of my nails. If I need to stop in for a quick fix ( I have acrylics ) she always fits me in. If Bella can't, Li is awesome as well! The owner is so nice and very welcoming. The salon is clean and the techs are very thorough. I look forward to my bi-weekly appointments!!! Amazing quality service and great prices. I'll never go anywhere else! read more

My friend and I were looking for a nail place to go to before we went back home. We were from out of state, but decided we would find a place to get our nails done. I got green SNS with tips and they looked amazing, until less than an hour later one chipped. I called the place asking if they could fix it before I left for home, and had explained my situation that I was from out of state and really needed some help fixing it before I left. The lady I spoke with on the phone was not accommodating whatsoever. She said "I feel bad for you" and then said she couldn't fix it because she was busy. While I understand her schedule was complex, I was from out of state, had just paid 40 dollars to get my nails done and then was told no because she was busy. Fixing one nail would not have taken that long. It has been less than a week now that I've gotten my nails done and two others have broken. It seems like something was not done correctly and the staff were nice in the moment but after the fact they were less than helpful. Would not recommend. read more

The place is very nice and polished, however my experience was so so. The women who did my pedicure was quiet the whole time and when she did speak, she spoke in her dialogue to her coworkers, I found it offensive because who knows what they where speaking about. Haha right jokes on me. Then she finally spoke to me about the color of my polish hair and how she likes the color. The other workers in the shop do dress a little risqué for my liking. I brought my 10 year old with me for a pedicure and she was looking at the manicurist like where are your clothes. I left I didn't dry my nails there it was uncomfortable for me. First time trying this place.. I guess you get what you pay for....I got the express pedicure.... Usually my pedicure last three weeks, no chipping etc.. I got a pedicure and by the next night both of my big toes we're chipped... And she cut my nails all slanted. I don't think I will be going back there!!!! read more

I was so happy to find this beautiful new nail salon "Bar Nails" that just opened in Hatboro. This place is an oasis!!! Lovely atmosphere, lovely friendly people that work there. I was taken care of as you would want to be when you walk into a salon. My pedicure and manicure were perfect!! The first time I went to this salon, I had a pretty good experience. However, the second time I went I took my mother and it had to be the worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon. I was here for over 4 hours waiting for them to do my mother and I's nails and they were extremely rude to us when we asked when we were going to be assisted. When they started our mani/pedi, they went extremely fast and just wanted to get us out of the salon. My lady did not even look down while doing my toes and I saw that only half the nail of each of my toes was painted! I had to ask her to fix it and she made a big deal about it. I had to get my manicure done in the pedicure chair because they waited too long to assist us and they did a horrible job. I would NOT recommend coming here. There are many better salons on this road that are much cheaper and actually pay attention to their customers needs! read more

I came here on a snow day, honestly because they were the only place that was open. I'm so glad I went. Bella was so nice and welcoming and spent her time chatting with me while removing my acrylics. I also got a pedi during this time and it was wonderful! They are clean, fun (they play whatever music you want unlike some other salons that play bedtime tunes) and they are so friendly. I would never go back there I went there the other day I feel like they rushed my pedicure because they was about to close my nails I got a gel refill the Polish bubbled up I got to go somewhere else and get my nails done over they charged me $60 and it wasn't even worth it I just moved to this neighborhood and it's sad that I have to go 35 minutes away to get the best service I guess they not used to colored people!!! read more

When my sister and I went to go get lash extensions they were perfect at first, they told us that they would last for 10-14 days depending on the how we took care of them. My sister took a shower later that night and hers fell off, I didn't wash my face or wear makeup and when I woke up the next morning they were bent and quickly fell off as I tried to adjust them. We were given no special instructions and the woman there began to trim my eyebrows during the process without me asking her too. They sat 2 people down for their nails before us who came in after us and then after waiting an HOUR they sat 2 more people down for PEDICURES, came up to me and said "they've been waiting a long time" as if my daughter and I hadn't been waiting longer. If you're looking for a nail salon that honors your appointment, this is not the place for you. On the other hand, if you don't mind walking in and waiting your turn . . . Step right in! Time is precious. You can't get it back. Their time management is lacking. In my opinion, if someone walks in, without an appointment, and are told that the technicians have appointments scheduled and that they can make an appointment for later or wait, that person has a decision to make because they did not take the time to make an appointment in advance. But what should not happen is that a person who has taken the time to make an appointment or been given a set time should not be made to wait or squoze in between other people who have made appointments as well. The result: the walk-in clients probably won't be back and the ones who would've come back because the technicians and owner are so nice won't return because they had to wait their turn while the walk in uses their time. read more
