As it happens, we managed 6 tapas, basket of bread, pudding, a cheeseboard, bottle of wine and liqueur. Don't know what that says about us! We didn't find the portions huge but they were delicious: The fried Lanzarote goats cheese and black pudding with baked strawberry and pepper cream gets a special mention. Staff were really warm, welcoming and funny. What a breathtaking location, right at the edge of the little beach - when you go there as the tide comes in, it feels like your table may become submerged by the sea! As you will see from my photo, you have to ascend a series of beautifully designed stone and pebble steps to reach the restaurant. It is not very easy to find, but it is located on the right (sea) heading towards Matagorda and before the San Antonia Hotel. In fact it is right next door to a brand new boutique Hotel, Lanis Suites de Luxe, on the main Avienda. The food is nothing special really, but very good all the same, and similar type fare to most restaurants around, but the location is really something special and not to be missed. It would be particularly romantic for dinner on a warm sunny evening. I have also seen parents enjoying a relaxed lunch while their children were equally relaxed and blissfully happy playing on the sandy beach just a step down from their table! Superb setting.
