This place is a bit of a hidden gem! Excellent ambiance, moody yet elegant lighting with just enough quirky decor to put you at ease and pique your interest. Cozy indoor area with cigar-lounge style couches and a charming outdoor patio framed with bougainvillea. Sophisticated and creative specialty drinks menu. Came here on a Sunday night and there was a decent crowd, surprised there aren't more reviews! Would recommend a visit.

Gorgeous ambiance and even better cocktails! Service was excellent from all of the bartenders, especially Matt. He was super welcoming, knowledgeable, and had great recommendations! I would highly recommend stopping in to appreciate the atmosphere and the craft of the bartenders at Bar Stella.

This place is a viiiibe. This is a dope spot to come here with friends or on a date. They play some good music and their cocktails are delicious. Cocktail prices are a bit steep, starting at $20+, but it's worth trying out. Especially their seasonal cocktails. I ordered the C. Arthur cocktail, which was a bourbon based drink. My friend ordered the Norteno cocktail (tequila based drink). Both drinks were good and the service was pretty decent. They have a couple couches inside and a super small patio area, which gets crowded quickly. I'll definitely be back if I'm ever in the area again.

I do feel like it's a bit overpriced for what you get, but the service was good. They were backed up on our order and apologized by providing complimentary wine on the house, which was very kind of them. We got the Tuna tostada, Caesar salad and the pan con tomate. The tuna was fresh and the other two were just alright to me. It was really interesting as the salad had saradines which was different but nothing bad, but nothing really memorable either. Parking can be tough, but I was lucky enough to find street parking. Seating is also limited, and the wait can be long including the restroom line. However, we got lucky and were able to grab a table without waiting too long. Overall, it's a nice place with a great ambience, and I can see the appeal of this bar.

Initial impression of the restaurant and its interior - my friends and I were gagged at how beautiful it was inside, like a bohemian garden with very cozy vintage vibes. We started off with this palate cleanser of carrot juice with parsley oil, and it was definitely an eccentric taste...kind of like celery but overall a pretty healthy tang (idk if it's meant to be savored because lowk maybe it's better as a shot lol). For the pizzas, we ordered the following, all of which came out hot with my absolute favorite leopard-spotted crusts, which definitely has that *sour*dough flavor plus a beautifully plush and chewy texture :D Stracciatella & Prosciutto (4.5/5) - the stracciatella cheese was divinely creamy, and it had this lovely sweet & savoriness to it - we couldn't really taste coffee-infused honey tho The Banger (4/5) - also another delicious and diverse combination of ingredients perfectly arranged on a pizza; nduja could have been more prominent as, besides the cheese, it seemed quite similar to the S&P Mushroom (3.5/5) - the truffle is fragrant, and overall the mushrooms are not too overbearing! I will say I'm biased to red pizzas though as white pizzas can get a bit heavy and needs a palate cleanser. But I especially loved the oyster mushrooms because they were cooked perfectly with an earthiness to em In regards to size, we ordered 3 pizzas for 4 people (6 slices for each, so 18 total), which was the perfect amount for us. Service was lovely as well so would definitely recommend checking them out! Street parking should be available in the nearby neighborhoods^^

They have a small menu of a few set appetizers and then entrees and desserts rotate daily. Ambiance was very cute and cozy. The gentleman who take care of us was super friendly - I'm sad I didn't get his name. I am not a wine connoisseur by any means, I know a few things I like and that's about it. Our waiter was kind enough to let us sample the three whites they had rotating that night so we could pick what we wanted. I ended up going with a nice Georgian white. And now for the food! Cucumber and pomegranate salad (5/5) - it was fresh, crisp, and very well flavored with the fresh herbs. Ghormeh sabzi with rice (3.5/5) - flavor wise it was delicious, it reminded me of my grandma's ghormeh sabzi. Kidney beans were a bit undercooked. Rice was fluffy and well cooked. Tahchin with chicken (3.5/5) - flavor was good, I think it could have used a bit more seasoning and the rice was more "custardy" than I am used to. Blood orange tart (3/5) - the tart itself was yummy but the blood oranges were quite bitter. Our meal was quite expensive which I completely understand given the quality of the ingredients they use and the fact that they are small business. With that being said, I'd probably only come back here for wine and small bites, not a full meal. But I think Voodoo Vin is worth trying at least once.

Do yourself a favor and don't come here. I highly recommend the classic LA ambience at other close by establishments such as The Oaks on Bronson, the Alley in Silverlake or The Cara on Western instead. This place is like a bad Ryan Murphy series. It takes itself way too seriously. I've given them over 4 chances to change my mind since I live around the corner, and they never cease to amaze me when it comes to their entitled snotty staff & overpriced alcohol plus the parking is absolutely impossible! I even had to help customers break out of the parking lot one evening because the gate closes at a particular hour, and the restaurant doesn't even bother to tell you the gates shut at a particular time way before the restaurant closes. you're on your own, good luck getting your car out! avoid this place like the plague.
