Our first time visiting so not sure what to expect. On first arrival the closest parking are is paid parking which seems typical for the location. The bar is located on the third floor and we took the elevator to get up there. The atmosphere is an open outdoor bar with tiki themed decor and a DJ. The music was super loud which was not appealing to us but we found a secluded table that was away from the noise. The views from the rooftop are spectacular even if it was way too loud. We ordered one round of drinks and all of them were delicious! I ordered the buttery chi chi which was not super strong which was perfect for me. My partners ordered stronger drinks and both were delicious. The ratings on their menu are definitely accurate for what you can expect from a liquor forward perspective. This bar has some great drinks and nice service, but I think there are some areas for improvement. As a big Tiki Bar fan, I was hoping for tiki music. While there is some light theming and nice views, playing pop music took away from what I think could be a really nice sunset setting. And, while not this business' fault, the parking is quite confusing. You essentially need to park, head up to the third floor for a password, come back down to the parking lot and input the password and then you get a set amount of parking time. Then you can head upstairs again and begin enjoying the bar. Fun atmosphere and fun drinks. We came during the surprising cold front that happened in the beginning of January, so even though we got here at around 10 p.m. they were serving last call. Mainly because nobody else was crazy enough to be on a rooftop bar in this weather. That was completely fine with us since we were only planning one drink and the bartenders were still super nice. I like the random tiki touches for a rooftop bar. Also the drink menu is all tiki, which is both good and bad. I got the mana kope 13 which is Don Q Cristal, cold brew, shipwreck coconut cream and coffee liquor. It was too sweet for me, so if you like a sweet drink, this could be for you. Being a tiki bar, nothing else on the menu caught my eye, but that's more me than it is the bar. I'm more of a not sweet craft cocktail person. I don't like pineapple and my husband is allergic to coconut. I know, I know, why come to a tiki bar? Because I love the atmosphere and again this atmosphere does not disappoint. This is a really fun variation from the beach bars in the area so I would highly recommend checking it out. There's not a lot of food on the menu, but downstairs is Marina Cantina so since you're probably paying for parking already, grab a bite at Marina Cantina and then come up here for the drinks. She was a bit stretched thin and forgot multiple items. The food was just OK. The fish dip itself was tasty but the chips it came with were brittle and didn't hold the dip well. We also had to ask multiple times for jalapeño. The coconut shrimp were a little mushy and the sauce it came with was way too sweet. The one star of our dishes was the chicken quesadilla. We ordered two rounds of drinks - Dole Whip, Poni Polu Mojito, Hapuna Punch, and the Hana Hou Hemingway. If you're a pineapple dole whip lover you MUST get the dole whip. It's a rum base drink with a pineapple dole whip sorbet on top. It's delicious and you don't taste the alcohol at all. Poni Polu Mojito - boyfriend says this is amazing. It is minty, with a strong hint of sourness. Perfect. Hapuna Punch - this was the strongest drink of all and it definitely had multiple rums inside, served in a cute cup that resembles a totem pole. Hana Hou Hemingway - Served in a chilled martini glass - this is a very sour drink that has a hint of lime. Very delicious. Prices range from 10-13 per drink which is very reasonable! Many of the drinks can also be made into a fishbowl which is a cool way of sharing drinks with friends. Shout outs to Savannah who was incredibly knowledgeable when offering us recommendations! This is a newer bar in the area but don't let that deter you. This is a hidden gem - you'll find wonderful service, not as many crowds, great drinks, and nice jazzy music. The husband and I tried this place on a whim for a date night and let me say the drinks and atmosphere were fantastic! I tried a few different drinks, but the one I remember the most was the Dole Whip. That thing was amazing. The night we went was a week night, so it was not busy at all, but I can imagine this place gets pretty busy on weekends. We enjoyed it not being really loud and crazy though, it made for a lovely evening. Overall the place was very clean, had an awesome view of the sunset and water, the drinks were super tasty, and the staff were very friendly. Such a great place!! We were pleasantly surprised when we stumbled across this gem above the Marina Cantina! The drinks are fantastic and our bartender, Madison, was not only friendly but she's also quite the mixologist. Highly recommend. The atmosphere is fun and playful on the rooftop with a view of the harbor AND a straight sunset view too! They have Jhenga. Connect Four and Cornhole too!
