What a fun beach bar!! It has the best spot ON Clearwater Beach where you can put your feet in the sand and enjoy a drink with a full beach and water view. You can sit at the bar or the chairs and umbrellas immediately around it - even if you are NOT staying at the Hilton. Rum runners! This is the best rum runner I've had in the US. The Bahamas makes the best rum punches I've ever had, and this tiki's rum runner tasted almost identical. It felt like the Caribbean again. The mojito with fresh mint was super refreshing as well. Multiple flavors available too. The drinks were made strongly. I did not just taste the strength, but I sat there for several hours watching them make drinks - strong pours! The bartenders are constantly moving and looking around to refill drinks; top notch service. The snack menu is legit too. The queso nachos were good and perfect for two of us. Tommy's Tiki sits on the beach in front of the Hilton hotel if looking at it from the beach. Clearwater Beach doesn't allow alcohol to be brought onto the sand personally, but you are able to purchase drinks and stay within designated areas, this is one of them. It is clearly marked off on the area. You can sit around the designated areas that include tables with chairs or sit at the few spaces available at the bar itself. We tend to just sit at the bar as we know a few of the bartenders so we talk with them while visiting. Occasionally, you get some shade but normally I am sitting back a little to be able to soak up the vitamin D that I find myself never having enough of even leaving in FL. Service is always friendly regardless if it is one I know or not and for some people this is a great way to go to the beach, get some drinks, water, soda, or alcohol and some food without having to drag out a huge cooler yourself or wonder off too far from where you've set up on the beach itself. read more

Watch out for THe SEAgULS! Okay. Great location. Good piña colada, poke bowl was great but only came with 5 chips. Waiter was unresponsive and slow. Got our food attacked by swarming seagulls. Luckily, management comped the food for us and even gave us a a replacement. Doesn't hurt to ask! If you do go here I recommend sitting at the bar on the beach instead of the tables, so the seagulls won't attack your food. read more

This is a tiny little tiki bar behind the Hilton... I had a very enjoyable day on the beach as I visited this bar (frequently)! Maybe it was the sun? The heat? But dang the drinks were tough to beat! Clearwater beach is considered a dry beach but you can drink within certain parameters. My sister and I felt like a cocktail so we went to Tommy's Tiki. Drinks were over priced and not that good. I was surprised they didn't have more rum drink options. There is also a cart that goes around for the Hilton guests and you can get drinks from them but you have to pay cash. read more

Nothing like a nice relaxing day at the beach with ice cold drink in your hand. This laid back tiki bar makes some awesome drinks with a little punch to them. Me and my buddy hadn't eaten all day so I got a Caesar salad too which wasn't too bad. It's funny because this kid tried to buy a drink with an expired license and the bartender laid into him. I think she thought it was fake and wouldn't serve him. He got mad and stormed away but apparently cops do sting operations at this place all the time. Okay, we've been staying at this hotel for a few days now and have spent considerable time at Tommy's Tiki. The staff makes this place awesome. All the employees make the customers a top priority and it shows. They are friendly and interact as appropriate to make you feel comfortable. The menu is very comprehensive with something for everyone. The food comes out fast and is delicious. The drink prices are very reasonable compared to other locations or even the bar inside the hotel. This is soooooooo cute! When I think about going to a beach, I see myself with my toes in the sand and a fruity drink in my hand. Well you can't really drink on the beach at Clearwater, and this is the closest you'll get to it. The piña coladas were fantastic and balanced. The ambiance is great, but we went here for lunch and it wasn't even crowded, and it took forever! Our waitress disappeared several times, ketchup never showed up for our fries, and the kids meal was missing half of the items it's said it came with. To top it off only bottled water is available, and as much as I like buying an $8 bottle of water for my 2 year old, I think some allowances should be made for customers who are ordering food and other drinks. It's not like I just walked up to the bar for water. As locals we've been here several times before for lunch and drinks, and never had issues like this until their remodel. read more

3 stars is where I land on Tommy's Tiki. The good: RIGHT ON THE BEACH! Like toes in the sand, waves crashing in front of you on the beach. I really enjoyed that I could sit out here and get some sun while enjoying a meal. The drink menu was pretty good. I can't drink because I'm with child, but I surely would have gone for a frozen beverage if I were able to. They looked quite tasty. My husband very much enjoyed his beer and his margarita. Our sandwiches were both tasty - I had the chicken sandwich with avocado and my husband had a burger. The bad: We came here 2 days in a row and the second day the service wasn't very good. The waiter seemed somewhat annoyed by us and was somewhat slow. Also - the fries were quite bland. Nothing that a little salt and pepper didn't kick up, but I expect more from fries. I would eat here again for the ambience and hope to enjoy one of their fruity cocktails next time I venture to Tommy's Tiki! read more

This is the beach bar that is right behind the Hilton hotel. It is what you would expect of a beach bar; pricey drinks and bar foods. For a daiquiri it was $10. It is really nice to be able to have your toes in the sand and get drinks served to you. We were hungry so we ordered some food. The menu was limited but the salads were great and the quesadillas. The portions were big so for the price I didn't think it was too bad. Great to sit and see the sunset while you drink and talk with family. I wish I could give this tiki bar a better review!! Perhaps I will give it another shot when I am back in Clearwater Beach. Located behind the Hilton of Clearwater Beach (literally on the beach), it has the perfect location for all the beach-goers. They even have tables with sun shade umbrellas for perfect lounging outside conditions. We were there for a wedding and all of the wedding attendants kept raving about the pina coladas from the tiki bar. Tried to get there after dinner, and they were closed (around 10 pm). So, the next day I made an effort to go in the day time to try them out. We got there about 3 pm, and it was just a shame that they made my drink with half to a third of the mix it should have been made with... I know, because they use the same recipe in the bar inside the hotel, and it tasted so weak as far as the flavor in comparison. I would have rather they say they are out of pina colada mix. I also recieved a huge unwanted amount of attitude from the bar tender when I asked for a straw, instead of an explanation about how stray straws can affect the beach wildlife. So, 3 stars for now. Keep your bar stocked!! And smiley service gets good tips!! read more

The atmosphere is awesome out here sitting on the beach watching the sunset drinking an island drink. Obviously the prices Are a little steep 20 dollars for 2 drinks but it's worth the view. .... FYI no straws they don't want the birds to eat them so my Advice would be not to order anything frozen. read more
