A $5 service fee on a TAKEOUT order is excessive to me. I'm picking up my own food no table service, no server, no dining experience, so I'm not sure what exactly the $5 service fee is covering. I intentionally try to support Black-owned businesses and businesses in our community, but I also expect transparency and fair pricing. It's frustrating when the very customers who want to support an establishment feel like they're being nickel-and-dimed with additional fees. Unfortunately, as much as I love the kale salad, this experience was enough for me to take my business elsewhere.
