This review is long overdue. Dr. Baratta has been my family's chiropractor for over 24 years and he has always given us relief. I remember sitting in his office as a child while my mom went in for her adjustments and then when I became an adult and started experiencing back pain too, he helped me tremendously. Now that I'm married, I've referred my husband, and he says he is the best chiropractor he has ever seen. Even when we have experienced sudden pain and need help urgently, he always makes the effort to squeeze us in. Besides his expertise and just being an overall super nice person, the atmosphere in his office is also fantastic. Monica has always been very welcoming and, as other reviews have said, always remembers what you talk about and takes a genuine interest in you. Chantel is also very helpful and a genuine person! Lauren is the only massage therapist I will see. It is literally the best and most effective massages I have ever had and she is very knowledgeable about her work. I haven't met Veaney yet but I'm sure she's also very nice and highly skilled!! This is a great office if you are experiencing any back pain or discomfort check them out!! I just started seeing Dr Baratta for my neck pain. He is thorough and listened to my concerns. He ordered an X-ray before treatment. For the first treatment he used e-stem on my neck to help relax the muscle tension there. I've been to some chiropractors that are overly forceful in their adjustments, but Dr Baratta uses a gentler approach. Monica at the front desk is super friendly, organized and a great communicator getting everything started and scheduling treatments. They have a massage therapist in the office. You want a friendly and caring Doctor with tons of experience. I have been referred to Dr. Baratta for chiropractor care since my auto accident that left me so stiff I could barely move. I was on the verge of losing my job and the chance to ever drive again. With anticipation, I walked through the front door and I was greeted by the friendly staff. The receptionist is super friendly and organized!! She always has your information ready offhand. Dr. Baratta greeted me as well, took me in, explained to me what treatments I needed and why, and analyzed my damage. I began treatment immediately. I progressively felt better after each visit. This treatment center is not just chiropractics. They offer a wide range of treatments. I highly recommend the massage by any one of their CMT specialists. The office was very inviting and very clean. The receptionist was very helpful and nice. Barratta was very professional and listened to all of my needs. I felt very comfortable and I truly felt he was concerned and wanted to find out why I was experiencing some pain. I never felt rushed and overall my body feels great. I was in an automobile accident in December of 2016. I needed to seek treatment as soon as possible. I did some research and came across Dr. Baratta's Holistic Center. I chose his office based on external reviews, holistic approach, convenience, and multiple sources of treatment he catered in his office. He not only offers chiropractic treatment, but massage therapy, acupuncture, and more. I find this a great asset to his practice because it provides a variety of treatment in one location. What I was initially impressed with about Dr. Baratta is his level of concern, service, and exceptional listening skills. He closes at 6 PM Monday thur Thursday. I called for the first time at 5:59 PM. He picked up the phone and still took his time to listen, ask questions, and offered me an appointment right away, without rushing. Honesty, right then and there I knew this was the place for me. I come from a healthcare background myself, so I understand quality care is imperative, and Dr. Baratta provided that experience! I found Baratta Holistic Center via Yelp and Sac Magazine. It was great because they also are on my insurance plan. I was able to get an appointment quickly and Dr. Baratta is kind, professional, and knew exactly what I needed. My problem isn't immediately solved, but I have had more relief after two sessions than I have had with 6 months at the doctor (including Physical Therapy, Specialists, Cortisone Shots, and prescriptions). I am so glad I decided to try an "alternative" because it doing more for me than the traditions. I have come here myself for adjustments and massages and really liked Dr. Baratta's bedside manner so when my son and his girlfriend were in a car accident I brought them here right away. Turns out it was a case of poor ergonomics due to my desk posture. With more information and holistic care from Dr Baratta along with a change of my desk I have been pain free from that ever since. It's been a couple months now since I've been to Dr. Baratta's office, but I wanted to make sure to give Dr. Baratta a good review. I had purchased a Groupon for an adjustment and massage, for what seemed like a ridiculously low price for the combination. It was so low, I figured that I would be hammered with a sales pitch to add-on and continue services. I was a bit skeptical, but I purchased the Groupon and made an appointment with Dr. Baratta. It was necessary to book the chiropractic adjustment and massage on different days. First was the chiropractic adjustment. I found Dr. Baratta and his receptionist to be very friendly and humble people. Dr. Baratta interviewed me and what ailments I had that he could help me with. I often get these nagging upper shoulder pains from work, particularly behind my shoulder blades, but I didnt believe that a spinal adjustment would be that beneficial for this pain. Dr. Baratta had me lay down on the table and actually attached these pads all over my back that administered tiny little electric shocks to relax my muscles. I know this sounds a bit strange, but I actually enjoyed the electric shocks. He then performed the chiropractic adjustments and helped me book a later appointment for the massage portion of the Groupon. Dr. Baratta was really down to earth and never pushed for continual chiropractic adjustments at his office. When I got home, I couldnt believe how much better my shoulders and neck felt! I thought that I just needed a really good massage, but the chiropractic adjustment with Dr. Baratta was better than just about any massage I've had. Just my shoulders feeling that much better, was worth the price of the Groupon for sure! Later, I came back for the massage appointment with Lisette, the massage therapist. Lisette was great too! She was very kind and professional, it was a great hour of relaxing massage. She was really attentive with applying just the right pressure during the massage. She would talk just enough to break the ice before and during the massage, but not too much that it felt like we were complete strangers. Baratta Chiropractic worked for me.
