We been waiting here for an hour and still no food , and nobody has came to check up on us.

I wanted to try their consome for a while and finally got a chance. The flavor did not disappoint! The small bowl is actually a good size for the consome but they also have the option to get a large. I decided to also try their tacos, I was a little disappointed with the meat ratio to tortilla, however the flavor of the meat was really good. The onions and cilantro are served on the side and they seem pre-packed for a while, their were dark pieces of cilantro which was not pleasing to put on the food and the onions also were translucent showing signs of it not being fresh. The service of the person at the register was nice and she explained the menu and the different ways to customize the order. The ambiance is quiet, seating is spacious and enough room to fit big size parties. The horchata was very delicious. I would have given the place a 5 if the onions and cilantro didn't look broken down. read more

The birria package is a bit pricey for the quality they give. I bought the 2lb package and it was just the meat of the birria, I did not get any of the juice for the birria so it was really dry. Very dissatisfied with the quality and taste. Other places will at least give you the meat in the juice that makes it juicy instead of simple and dry. Also I paid around 100 just to be dissatisfied so check what you guys order. read more

Went here after church with a bunch of my girlfriends. None of us spoke Spanish, but the kind employee was so accommodating and explained everything about the menu to us. I didn't feel like a fish-out-of-water like some of the other Hispanic-owned hole-in-the-walls. We were told that the menu is based on Ecuadorean cuisine so they use a different variation of meats and sauces than the Mexican taco. Unfortunately, they don't offer platter combos, so you would need to order your tacos and sides a la carte. I ordered the pina drink with two asada tacos and one pollo taco. All the tacos came with just the tortilla and meats, and the onions and cilantro came on the side in little bags. They also gave us bags of like wedges and spicy sauces (none of which I could handle as they were too spicy for me). The tacos were okay, but what stood out to me were their tortillas. I'm not sure if they made them in-house, but they felt and tasted homemade. They were irregularly shaped but had a doughy texture. Some of my friends ordered from the entree menu and their portions were ginormous! (See photo). My friend told me that her steak was a bit dry though. Overall, we had a positive experience here. This place is absolutely amazing! Every time I come to Vegas I have attempt to find a good goat barbacoa and consomé restaurant and had not been able to for years until now. Not only is the food great but the staff makes you feel like family. Immediately as you walk in they greet you with a big smile. The prices are great and they have good family deals. The goat meat here is the best around with a doubt.Although the restaurant is small the inside is beautiful and the atmosphere is amazing. I got 1lb or birria for $30 and it didnt even come with the consome . I havent been to a place that sells u a pound of birria and charges you extra for the consome so I asked the the lady on the phone and she said that its $30 because they give you 6 tortillas 3 salsas (2oz) and cilantro and onion so you can make your own tacos ..... that $5 a taco and if i want the consome it would be an additional $5.. took really long too but thats besides the point.. genuinely disappointed especially with reviews. other stuff may be good tho just birria is overpriced. read more

I've had to say that this is still a good spot to visit when I come into town. But I have found another place that has stolen my heart for the price and portions. The staff are friendly and the food is good, but I can't spend as much with inflation and things are a bit on the higher side. Okay, I so I need to start my review by saying what an amazing man the owner is. When we walked in there was a homeless individual who we could almost believe to be on something, nothing he was saying made sense. BUT the owner did not kick him out, on the contrary he FED THIS PERSON! He didn't ask for money or anything he fed him and had the patience until the man left. This made me want to support this business 1000% more! Now, FOOD. The food was DELICIOUS! I ordered carne asada tacos for my kiddos and my husband ordered sopes. The tortillas were FRESHLY made, the carne asada was so well seasoned that alone it tasted amazing! My husband said the sopes were FIRE! I ordered a combination plate and a small consome! It was absolutely delicious! I definitely recommend this place! Now the look of the restaurant, it's a tiny spot for sure but I went into the restroom and it was one of the cleanest I've seen in a long time! This place does not look like much from the outside, but is quite a hidden gem. The food is very fresh and authentic. The sauce used in the chilaquiles is made in-house and super flavorful. Visited early on a Sunday morning and snagged the last table, unfortunately directly under the blaring t.v. No problem, the service was prompt and friendly, the restaurant neat and clean. Chilaquiles were very good, with a bit of a kick. Ordered a side of barbacoa, meat was moist and tender. The lamb had a mellow taste, not in any way overpowering. A couple of weeks ago I had the misfortune to dine at a trendy modern Latin/fusion restaurant miles from here and they served something they passed off as barbacoa (it was more like mop strands soaked in mild chili sauce) the barbacoa I grew up with was done with beef cheeks and/or the meat from the head braised then flash grilled to add some crispy bits. You haven't lived till you come home from school and find a whole cow's head is staring at you from the fridge. Today I set out to find decent barbacoa. This place is about barbacoa and straight up real Mexican comfort food. The barbacoa is done Hidalgo style using lamb instead of beef. I sampled two barbacoa tacos, beans, and the salsa bar. The Barbacoa was the best I've had since my childhood. It was rich, dense, and succulent. I went over board with the great tasting condiments but the barbacoa was unmistakably excellent. The decor is spartan, clean, and a telanovela is usually playing on the mounted TV. But you don't come to places like this to ponder ambiance and art work, you come for the real deal. read more

I came for the first time with my boyfriend here about 2-3 weeks ago, today will be the 3rd time we have returned. Our first visit we were greeted by a gentleman who was willing to let us taste the food before buying. Second time we visited we got a pound of asada which is something they do not usually do but they CARE ABOUT EACH ONE OF THEIR CUSTOMERS and made the accommodations. I love love love this place when I state it is a MUST visit from their hangover soup to the Barbacoa to the Al pastor and everything else on the menu. The meats are really very, very good. The barbacoa, and Michoacan-style pork were very tasty - - in isolation. Maybe getting meats by the pound is the way to go, as one Yelper suggested. But the low score is for the tacos I had. Again, the meats were good; the salsas were also good; the tortillas were light and fresh. It's just that, these were not very good tacos. The flavors do not match, and they do not blend into a satisfying product. I think the main problem are the tortillas - - they have a simplicity and a sweetness, but the flavors do not match the meats, nor the salsas. These tacos were not a well conceived whole, from a flavor perspective, and they were not that enjoyable to eat. Really caring service though. read more

Drove over and tried one taco to see if I liked it. It was amazing. Immediately ordered a pound of meat, which came with all the sides and eight fresh, hand-made tortillas. While waiting, we had a great discussion about the series, and he recommended a place for al pastor for me to try.
