Whenever I visit Vegas, I usually fly in pretty late at night, so I'm always seeking new late-night spots to try out on the Strip. Sayulitas has always been on my radar because they are open until 2:00 AM on Thursdays and 3:00 AM on Friday and Saturday. I finally got to try it on my most recent trip to Vegas, though I ended up going for lunch around noon on a Saturday instead of the late-night meal I had originally intended. I was surprised at how popular this spot was, given that it's all the way on the other end of the Strip. Note they do charge more if you use credit card so bring cash for a cash discount. They also have a handwashing station near the restroom which I appreciate alot since I always tend to wash my hand before eating. (Everyone should wash their hands before eating and dealing with food!) I ordered the Pac-Man Burrito, which comes with tocino, carne asada, guacamole, sour cream, cheese, Mexican salsa, chipotle sauce, and fries. If you're not familiar with tocino, it's a Filipino dish featuring sweet, savory, and garlicky cured meat. It reminds me a bit of Chinese char siu, but sweeter. The burrito is massive! The meats are packed with flavor, and I was surprised at how crispy the fries stayed crispy even though they were wrapped inside the burrito. My only complaint was that my burrito didn't seem to be wrapped very tightly and was falling apart as I ate it. Other than that, it was delicious! They also have a self-service salsa bar--the orange sauce is especially good and has a nice kick. The service was great, and the servers were all very nice and attentive. We went 8/19/26 around 9:50pm. The food a as decent but, the cashiers attitude wasn't the best. Spending a premium price for tacos & a torta should at lest give us smile or a decent greeting. I hadn't been back here in a few months, and I'm so glad I stopped in again! This Mexican/Filipino fusion spot is known for its massive burritos, and they definitely live up to the hype. It's close to work, but it's not usually my regular lunch spot because it's not the cheapest option. That said, the portions are huge and easily big enough to share, so you definitely get a lot of food for your money. They've also added a new addition to the restaurant since my last visit; a beautiful bar area that looks amazing! The bartender, Yaz, was absolutely wonderful. So friendly and welcoming, and just added to the whole experience. I ordered the Del Mar burrito, and wow! Starting with the beef tacos. The portion size was decent with five tacos, but the flavors need a little elevation. The tacos were basic beef, cilantro, onion, and accompanying salsa, but the flavor profile was missing. It is OK to season the food!!! The Pac-Man fries are a huge portion. That could be a meal on its own. The fries are covered in meat, cheese salsa, sour cream, guacamole. But again it is missing basic flavor. The most disappointing item was the $15 bean and cheese burrito. I included a photo in this review because it was mostly tortilla, and the cheese wasn't even melted. As for the churros, we originally ordered regular churros, but they told us they didn't have plain churros available on a Friday night, so we were pushed into getting the strawberry ones instead.
