Ordered a Raspado De Nuez, flavor 5 of 5, Service attention 3 of 5 the lady was short and was not focused on the clients, she was counting the cash drawer while the other girl working with her watched her and was just standing there until they wanted to continue asking it I wanted to order something else, I decided to order a gordita despite the lack of customer attention to see what the hype was all about so then the lady shouted to someone in the kitchen to make Chorizo con Papa gordita, waited again for about 10 mins at the order window till I asked if she was going to charge me my order and said yes just a minute. In the mean time I was tasting the raspado i ordered which was good and helped through the waiting process of getting my gordita and pay for my order. I got the gordita to go after all and when I tried, it was pretty good and the salsas added in the bag tasted really good. Next time I decide to go might think of eating at the location since the restaurant looks nice inside to enjoy your meal. Hopefully also a better experience with customer service. read more

You pay more for it I started with 2 because 3 seemed too much, but after the Asada, I had to try ine more... Over all the service was fast and the food was good. Could it have been hotter? Definitely yes. I have been coming here for years, and I've realized that with the economy changing a lot of people especially family owned have changed, which I understand but I would urge the owner to bring back adding the toppings on to go orders. When you dine in you get the full experience. Just wish that when I don't have time to stay I could have all the regular topping to go to enjoy the food the way I do when I am there. read more

Its Tuesday. Time for tacos! After grocery shopping at Marketon, I saw this place in the corner. Although they have tacos, it seems they're famous for their gorditas. So I figured I'd give it a try. Got the 3 gordita plate. The 3 meats are pollo marinado, al pastor and their special adobo. Have to say, the special adobo is the bomb! The gordita is like a round hot pocket with tender juiced up shredded pork filling. First bite, and the juice spilled over my fingers onto the plate. So good. Next, I had the Al pastor and it was good, too. I was so full, I couldn't get to the chicken gordita. Have to take everything to go. If you're wanting something other than the usual tacos and burritos, I suggest you try their gorditas. read more

Hidden in a corner plaza, this shop is a hidden gem! I ordered for pick up which was about a 12 minute ticket time. The chicken Tinga was outstanding!!! The mole was decadent and just a tad bit spicy. The chorizo con papas reminded me of homemade chorizo, seasoned just perfect. I also got an horchata and was very delighted with my meal. The main language spoken here is Spanish but everyone is welcome and it is very comfortable all around. They seem to have dine in service as well , offering fresh squeezed orange juice amongst other goodies. Order for take out or go inside and enjoy a wonderful meal. Our family stopped by to eat after a long drive. Once you enter the place smells sewage. When we arrived we got seated all the way in the back towards the restrooms. It smelled really bad and we stayed getting very nauseous so we asked to be seated somewhere else. The food was ok but not great l, the price was very high for the quality of the food. Very plain meat very dry. Most definitely don't recommend this place. read more

It's really small so it truly wasn't so bad for a Wednesday afternoon. Though a turn off when you see a place you'd like to eat at has a health inspection rating of any less than an A. We had asada,adobo,al pastor gorditas. You can get 2-3 plates with different ones rice and beans. All pastor and adobo being the best and full of flavor. This is a small family owned restaurant. It is intended to be fast-food, but there are a few tables for indoor dining. The server does not speak English so ordering was basically pointing at the menu. They charge 3% for using a credit card. The serving sizes are slightly small for the price they charge. Great food. Hand made Gordita's, well seasoned Carne Asada and good portions. Ordered the carne Asada burrito which was a good size on its own, adobe and carne Asada Gorditas all with good flavors and carne Asada tacos. Overall good authentic Mexican food. Credit where credit is due: I wouldn't even know about this place if not for Stephanie S.'s review. I've driven by a lot and ended up at other Mexican food restos in the area because the location signage is limited. It's in the corner of the Marketon plaza, and the interior is nice and homey. But I came here for gorditas, which are way more popular in Texas than in Vegas, and they've been hard to find. In addition to the namesake stuffed pockets, the menu also offers plates as well as a variety of street snacks and raspados. I've tried three gorditas and an elote and I'll be back for more. The gorditas don't look huge but their appearance is deceptive and they're actually quite filling. The asada and chile relleno flavors have a premium charge, and were the two I tried first. The asada I found dry but the relleno was overflowing with cheese- I combined all the fillings into one pocket and it was perfection! Adding a side of guac is another option. The chicken tinga was just okay; solid flavor on the sauce but the pocket got soggy and fell apart fast. I had a good time here yesterday with a good friend of mine. The funny thing is, he never seems to be hungry or craving anything to eat for as long as I've known him but for some reason, he started telling me about this place. We finished the work we were doing and headed to this place because I just had to give it a try! Gorditas are not a very well known type of Mexican food in Vegas but my mom used to make them for me as a kid. The restaurant is small but cozy. Like I said before, I'm all about the mom and pop places because I was raised by mom and pop who ran a restaurant. The menu includes a lot of the favorites that can stuff these gorditas like, asada, mole, pork Chile verde, rajas con queso and so many other options. The ones I chose were good and the mole one was exceptional, I included pictures of them. I ordered a Jamica that wasn't to sweet and I don't like them when they are too sweet. You can tell it was brewed there and it wasn't just a premix. Over all I would recommend that you try these gorditas at least once. read more
