Not a bad place, great Vibe, decent cut. Moises was great, did a great job. Parking sucks, the price of the cut was crazy high! I should have asked. So my fault, exspected to be around $30 bucks. I paid $50 dollars for a taper and blend up the sides. I kept the top so he Didn't even have to use scissors on the top. If not for that I would come back. $50 dollars is crazy expensive. At least put another dollar sign in the yelp app so it's accurate. read more

Robert is legit the best! He makes sure to ask exactly what type of haircut you are looking for and delivers on it. All my previous barbers just couldn't get it right, even simple requests like not taking too much off the top - Robert just nails it. Super chill and a pure professional. I had never gone to a barber shop before so my first cut and did not know what to experience when I walked in. I was great by one of the barbers who was very friendly and asked if I had booked with anyone. I said Yes Robert he pointed me to his chair where one of my work friends was getting his haircut as well. Once Robert got done cutting my buddies hair asked plenty of questions before started to cut my hair. I didn't mention earlier but this haircut my wedding day haircut run. To say he did a masterful job is an understatement. When I got home to show my fiancé she said "you better go back for your wedding haircut there" which I did do and he did equally as good of a job. Robert is a master at his craft and I can also see the rest of the barbers there do a great job with their cuts. The overall vibe of the barber shop is chill. They play good music that isn't to loud. I recommend anyone who wants a quality cut to come here. I do not think anyone else can cut my hair now. read more

Got a terrible haircut from someone who had just gotten out of school. I came in on a Sunday after booking the earliest reservation. I'd never been here before but considering the popularity of the place, thought I'd try it out. I think what bothers me so much is that I came in with a photo of a previous haircut and she spent all of 5 seconds looking at it before just starting to cut. It was weird that the entire time she was cutting, she had my back facing the mirror. What she did at the end looked nothing like what was in the photo. Insult to injury is paying $50 when I could have just gone to the barber school down the street for what probably would have been a better hair cut. read more

And because he's so passionate he's also super good at it. His knowledge is impressive and the results speak for themselves. On top of it, you can always expect a good conversation and someone who will take a genuine interest in you. I pass by this place daily and finally made an appointment a few weeks out. I scheduled one of their barbers based on their review ratings on the app needed to schedule. I saw this barber had photos of their work through Instagram (which I found through this shop's IG profile) so that helped with getting a visual. A day before the appointment I get a text I was now scheduled with another barber who I did not request a cut with, nor who's ratings or work I even looked at. The barber shop or the barber I initially scheduled with flaked and just thought I would not mind. Poor form. I cancelled. Would have gone a long way to contact me and ask if I still wanted a cut from another barber. My hair grows every two weeks, although i am not complaining that i have hair to cut, it does make it difficult to find a good barber or hair place. I have tried several places and always ended up fixing my own hair at home, swearing that I would never go back to that place...Barber Craft is not one of those barber shops. It is a legit barber shop where they know how to cut a man's hair! I was going to my work's Christmas Party and the guys at Barber Craft did amazing! My wife liked the look and I didnt have to go back home to fix a hair cut. It is not cheap but then again; you get what you pay for. Parking is not bad for downtown either, I was able to find parking fairly quick and right across the barber shop When you are done getting a hair cut you can hit some restaurants around the area. They actually listened to the style of haircut he wanted and was very friendly. They took their time and did a very thorough job. We're very pleased. ;) The atmosphere is super chill and hip. "Post"-Covid, my hair was tickling my neck, I tried to accept the life of a beatnik until I saw a spider crawling on the wall and then lost sight of it, then thought the tickle I felt on my neck was the spider's legs...After itching through my poofy hair and my neck, I hopped on yelp and found Barber Craft. I drove over there was plenty of free parking nearby (streets) and walked in. I was warmly greeted by Tony, who seemed familiar but was not sure where I met him. After a short convo I learned Tony was the one who told me about Bronx Pizza, and he was the first barber I went to when I moved down to San Diego. Tony saw how puffy my hair was and asked how long it has been (3 closing in on 4 months!). My hair reached down to my mouth which was kinda gross. He saw a picture of what I wanted and started cutting my hair, we had a good conversation about everything from living in Jersey to the Covid chaos experienced by individuals and businesses alike. My heart goes out to great businesses like this one and I hope the clientele keep places like Barber Craft open for years to come. After my haircut I felt 10 pounds lighter and 100% more confident there were no spiders in my hair! Thanks for the haircut Tony! I will definitely be back in the near future for my next haircut! These guys were amazing! I've had the same barber for 17 years but every once in a while I have to find somebody else if she's not available. It was my first time here and everybody was friendly and welcoming and it made me feel like I was a regular customer with them.
