I actually said those exact words twice during but the waxer just kept going and talking like I didn't say anything. Didn't even acknowledge my comment. It's been an hour since she's finished and I still feel tender, which has never happened before. I just need whoever goes here to know that a wax does not need to be anywhere near as painful as her waxes are. It's as if she has never gotten a wax herself. Her technique is also off because I still have splotches of hair and it seems like some hair broke at my skin line instead of being taken from the root (basically I paid someone to give me ingrowns). I'm told that it's all in the wrist and she makes large sweeping arm motions which definitely makes the pain worse. Even just applying momentary pressure at the freshly waxed area would help with the pain but she doesn't do that either. Absolutely hated it. Will never go back.

So what i think happened here was Rose got her feelings hurt for no reason, next thing you know we get a phonecall from the Owner OF THE GLOW SALON "DAVIDA" my wife had encountered her unprofessionalism while on the chair she said her hair was damaged, and needed to go to a color correctionist. Anyway she called to ruin our valentine 03-14-26 to let her know that my wife was unkind to her staff, and that she was an "UNFIT" CLIENT". I find this very difficult to believe my wife is the nicest most genuine women you will ever meet. So just like anyone or any bussines if you want to change an appointment ask instead of saying oh we have this day at this time so change time a total of 3 appointments. During your session they assess your skin and let you know what they are doing and using. It's so calming that I often find myself falling asleep by the end of it. They have private tubs you can reserve for an hour if that's more the vibe you are feeling, but you can also use the hot tub before or after your appointment to soak which is so relaxing. I do appreciate the touches of tea kettles and tea in the lounge area that are complimentary. They also have snacks and other things if you are there longer. Remedy is such a sweet serene spot right in the university area that you'd kinda forget where you are because it's so peaceful while experiencing it, and that's why I can't recommend Emily and Remedy enough.
