I didn't want the current bushy/full brows, but a leaner/finer look. Not only was she up for the challenge, she made it great. Just got back home, so I'll need to take a new photo in a few days once the tint has washed off my skin. Kristen is a lovely person to be with, very real, honest and high integrity. Not to mention over 20 years of experience. The price was more than fair, and I actually expected more. (Yes I tipped her). Put you trust in her and her salon, walk in and relax knowing what you need she can manage and work with you. Perfect business, lovely woman Kristen is. The two photos are 3 days later, no makeup at all, no brow pencil or color filler, no brow mascara, nothing and they are flawless. During your session they assess your skin and let you know what they are doing and using. It's so calming that I often find myself falling asleep by the end of it. They have private tubs you can reserve for an hour if that's more the vibe you are feeling, but you can also use the hot tub before or after your appointment to soak which is so relaxing. I do appreciate the touches of tea kettles and tea in the lounge area that are complimentary. They also have snacks and other things if you are there longer. I actually said those exact words twice during but the waxer just kept going and talking like I didn't say anything. Didn't even acknowledge my comment. It's been an hour since she's finished and I still feel tender, which has never happened before. I just need whoever goes here to know that a wax does not need to be anywhere near as painful as her waxes are. It's as if she has never gotten a wax herself. Her technique is also off because I still have splotches of hair and it seems like some hair broke at my skin line instead of being taken from the root (basically I paid someone to give me ingrowns). I'm told that it's all in the wrist and she makes large sweeping arm motions which definitely makes the pain worse. Even just applying momentary pressure at the freshly waxed area would help with the pain but she doesn't do that either. Absolutely hated it. Will never go back.
