The way it was handled made it seem like this wasn't unusual. After I canceled my appointment, I got a quick, half-hearted "sorry about that." Honestly, if there had been more sincerity in the apology or any sense that the mistake was being owned, I probably wouldn't have written this. But with 15 minutes left before my new appointment at my usual shop, I figured I'd take a minute to share the experience. I strongly believe that everyone should take their mandatory lunch break per state law, and I'm not a fan of it when it's not enforced. As a lead in my job, I make sure everyone I work with takes their lunch break on time because I get cranky if I don't eat, so I totally get it. Anyway, she was really kind, but as soon as she started feeling unwell, they told her to go relax. Another barber stepped in, but he had his own style, so it ended up being a completely different cut that just looked a bit confusing. It's not bad, but I'd give it a 7.5 out of 10.
