Alex and all the barbers always take care of me and keep my fade and beard looking right. They are always professional, courteous, funny, chill, and on top of how to be the best barbers they can be. The store itself is chill, modern, hip, clean, warm, family friendly, inviting, stocked with drink options, and with all the best music playing. They have an easy to use website for bookings and are flexible if you need to cancel or reschedule - or be seen last minute. For instance, last week I wanted to look ready for a special event, and they graciously got me in last minute and in time for the event. The first barber I asked for it butchered it, mostly because he'd never done a long cut in his life. Gianni took one look, diagnosed what was actually going on up there, and got me to a halfway cut. A couple months later, the cut grew in as he planned and he took me from 80 to 100%, right in time for my vow renewal. His profile calls him the brushback king and I couldn't agree more. Fair warning: he's meticulous, so plan on real time in the chair. You get what you pay for! Also book ahead. At least a month, in my experience. Gianni's popular and I've never once seen anyone get off the waitlist. The shop itself is worth the trip on its own. Great furniture, plants everywhere, and a back patio you can sit on if you're early or just want to hang. Vibes and the place is always clean. Their systems are top notch too. Plenty of notice before your appointment, everything organized, they offer you a drink when you sit down, and they use good products from the wash through the styling. The host is always so nice, everyone there is personable, and the music's great. One heads up: no parking lot. Mid way he asked a second time if I had ever had this hair cut before which I answered yes. Also at the beginning he had mentioned how much are we taking off the top. I mentioned just a little bit and we can work our way down. When it came to cutting the top I feel he had gone too low. At that point I just wanted to get out of the chair. I waited 2 days to post this just to see if my hair needed to settle in since I went from a wild lions mane to what ever this short hair cut I have now. But no matter how much I attempt to style my hair it just looks dumb. My feedback to Hin is if you aren't confident in cutting someone's hair then please just say so. Instead, I got the back of my next shaved at a 1 and it's going to grow back in 6 days and I'll have to get it cut again. Angelo is a talented barber but he's standoffish and condescending to female clients. I didn't want to argue with him because I don't want to run the risk of getting really bad cut. Isabel is also really good - she listens to my preferences of getting my haircut, and she doesn't get upset if I ask for adjustments. This spot is really good and convenient. The women stylists are so easy to work with. Angelo can be condescending at times.
