    Canoli Stuffed French toast

Decided to trek to this place on a Sunday after seeing photos of some of their dishes almost weekly on a friend's Facebook page. The pics always looked so good and so I really wanted to try it with the family. it was quite a hoof to get there but we expected it. We arrived right in the heat of lunch hour at 12:30pm. I was really hoping that it would be a shorter line up but I did expect the worst. I was pleasantly surprised that the line up wasn't too bad. I'll get right down to it. Restaurant Layout: The restaurant lay out is a bit awkward especially for a small one. Each table seats 4 and there were a few tables that were placed against the wall that they set for 3. We were a group of 6...there was no way they would be able to accommodate us without standing there for an hour to wait til 2 sets of tables side by side left. The server knew it and when he asked me how many people, he just looked around and said..."I have no idea when I'll be able to seat you." Perhaps they should invest on tables for 2 so that they can combine them easily. We opted to eat outside as my group really weren't up to waiting that long. They had 4 bistro sets of 2 except it was the heat of the day and the patio umbrellas were tied to the fence and so didn't quite keep us in the shade just half of us in the shade. It got pretty uncomfortable right under the heat of the sun. Food: Canoli Stuffed French Toast, Great Canadian Omelette, Banquet Burger, Cheeseburger, Fries, Scrambled egg with bacon and toast. French toast had excellent stuffing. The bread itself I feel could be more "toasted". it was a little mushy. Omelette was huge and quite good with really crispy home fries which I requested to be cooked well done. the scrambled eggs were good and from real eggs not the hotel type eggs. The burgers were just ok nothing to rave home about. The portions are massive. I would go as far as suggesting that it should be shared. We all brought back left overs. Service honestly could be better. There was 3 of them including what seems like the owner. They were quite disorganised. Having sat outside we were easily forgotten and had to go inside and ask for condiments/napkins and even the bill. All in all, not quite sure if I would return. Possibly if we happen to be in the area.

Home made comfort food at its best. This place is a gem. Situated at Orangeville' this is a must eat stop for all heading up to the Blue Mountains. Excellent preparation coupled with freshness. It is family owned and you feel the warmth moment you step in. We ordered the 3 eggs breakfast with pea meal. Preferred the eggs scrambled, with home made fries loaded with cheese, green pepper and bacon. Sour cream by the side, with bread jam and butter. We also ordered buttermilk pancakes, came with dollops of butter and maple syrup. We went on a Good Friday and were gifted surprise Easter eggs. Sweet and homely. This restaurant was featured in Food Channel and the owner is rightly a proud person. Loved the experience, will certainly come back.

The menu was super similar to most breakfast places, the Vé u was quite tightly packed, and it came accords as your average "diner-like" breakfast joint - and it was. While the food was not bad, and the service was great, it was nothing particularly special and there were a couple things that stood out and brought down the review. Knives: I could not cut pancakes with my knife. No one could cut their food with their knife. Please buy new cutlery for the restaurant. Also, I suggest investing in some new knives for your kitchen staff. My poor tomato slices looked like that had lost a battle when they arrived on my plate. Bathrooms: there are two identical single use bathrooms at the back of the restaurant - men and women. There is absolutely no reason that both these bathrooms could not be dual use. Both were clean enough, had toilets and sinks, and a locking door. Also, please put a change table in the second bathroom - it's a cheap one from IKEA, does the job, and helps out all parents! Otherwise, breakfast way pretty ok! Eggs were good, food was hot, coffee was flowing. The pancakes were a little...tough(?), which was made worse by the awful cutlery - but all in all, I would eat here again if need be for the price point.

Really love this place, because Stacked is one of the few breakfast places I've found in Ontario that offer gluten-free pancakes, waffles AND French toast. Most bfast places just offer GF bread, which is nice, but these days, with all the products available, I'll die on the hill that it's just lazy to not offer all menu items GF. Stacked always delivers. I picked up my rental car in Kitchener, and decided to eat breakfast before driving to Kingston. Good choice. It was a Thursday, but there were still a good number of diners eating...usually a sign on a weekday that the place is really good. I started off with the celebration of Cinnabun pancakes. Do you know what a treat that is? I don't eat this stuff at home and these taste like the best cinnamon bun you ever tasted. With the pancake stack, you will also get meat, eggs and potatoes. It's a big meal full of carbs yes, but always good to treat yourself on occasion...life is short! My server was Pratyasha. She is the most friendly and engaging server I've had at this restaurant. It's always nice when the server asks you a few questions and has a little conversation outside of just the food. She shows a genuine interest in her customers and it was much appreciated. Best server I ever had at this chain. She also knew that the sausage was not GF, and I always appreciate when your server knows that about menu items without you having to ask. Makes you feel safer about the food and shows they really care about their customers. The food came out quick and was delicious. The scrambled eggs were not dry and the bacon was so good. Potatoes were perfect as well. The restaurant was clean, including the bathroom and decor was cute. Easy free lot parking too. I'll definitely return. Hope Pratyasha is always my server!

Special mention : Pranjali made our experience even better. She is a great server and a good conversationalist. So we ordered a kiddie meal ( made some substitutes) - a birthday pancake and fries with apple juice. Avocado toasts, coffee, mango lemonade and cinnamon pancakes. For 2 adults, when the arrived on our table it looked like the food was for 5 people lol. Their pancakes are humongous and delicious. I could not finish even one. (A full pancake platter has 3 pancakes) the home fries are seasoned and delicious. They are addictive. Spicy home fries were topped with picked jalapeño, bell peppers and onions, and you can't stop munching on them. Coffee was a total miss. But overall a great place for brunch!

Easy fast classic meal. 2 eggs 2 sausage 2 bacon and 2 pancakes. Sausage was a little on the smaller side. But eggs cooked perfectly and the pancakes was nice and fluffy and not dense like some places. Bacon was crispy as well. 7/10 Overall a decent breakfast location.
