two bowls of food on a table
    P P.

1st try: What surprise !! Ordered from here using uber and the crispy chicken bowl was outstanding. The fries were perfect and the churro was too good. And I got introduced to jerrito 2nd try: Same order repeat. But the order was slightly less testier than the 1st one. Perhaps the pickled jalepinos were little more than I like. And they missed sending jerritos. So, they can be great with slightest luck from ur side Will try again soon !!

A slightly different take on burritos which I appreciate. Along with the expected chicken, pork, and beef options, they also offer falafel, veggie grounds, and more. Sauces offered also great. The service was fast and helpful, offering a taste of meat options. Chill ambiance when we were here. 4 two person tables available.

Bland, soggy. Fast food version of Mexican food. A notch above Taco Bell, but I won't go again.

The space was clean and our food arrived fairly quickly. We ordered the fried chicken and beef brisket soup curry. The spices weren't as strong and fragrant as the one we had in Sapporo which is what made it so memorable for me the first time. It was also a bit salty for my liking. But the fried chicken piece was about double the size than the one in Sapporo! Perfectly juicy and the crispiness is a nice contrast to the soup and soft vegetables. Beef brisket was soft and tender but would pick the fried chicken over the brisket. The rice was a bit lackluster compared to the more fragrant one in Sapporo. It's hard to compete with soup curry from the motherland, but this is still worth trying if you're looking for something different from the usual ramen or sushi.

I guess that's the trendy thing. They give you rice refills. The soup - I ordered the kakuni pork belly curry soup. The Kakuni is really really well done. Very tender and soft, absolutely wonderful. I also liked all of the other veggies - broccoli tomatoes corn etc. the soup is on the peppery side but has a great soft flavour to it. I also added eggplant which had great texture. The rice is also very unique. It is more like whole grained rice and feels healthy. Its texture contrasts with the soup and goes well with it I think. Don't expect traditional curry but if you're open to something new this is an enjoyable meal.

WHAT WE TRIED Chicken Leg Bowl with Scallion Oil Sliced Noodles and Braised Egg Large BYO Lamb Shoulder Bowl with Scallion Oil Thin Noodles and Braised Egg Jasmine Green Tea with Pearls & Pineapple Green Tea with Coconut Jelly The chicken leg was well-seasoned and incredibly tender, effortlessly falling off the bone. The lamb shoulder was equally good, with the meat absorbing the sauce perfectly. Both types of noodles we tried were springy with the perfect chew, providing a satisfying texture that complemented the proteins well. The braised egg was flavorful, with a rich, savoury taste that added an extra layer of indulgence. For our sides, we opted for black fungus, bean sprouts, celery and carrots, and corn. Each vegetable was fresh, adding a balance of crunch and subtle sweetness that elevated the overall dish. The variety of textures and flavours from the sides made every bite more dynamic and enjoyable. Overall, the combination of tender proteins, perfectly cooked noodles, and fresh sides made for a well-rounded and satisfying meal. The food was what gives this a just okay review, it was good and above fast food but in comparison to other restaurants the food is very basic with not much flavour. It is still good and palatable, but it didn't leave a lasting impression and I don't know if I would return. My friend and I ordered mozza sticks to share as an app and they were good but small and could've used more cheese. The grilled cheese as a main was delicious by far our favourite of the night. The basic burger was mediocre with the meat tasting a bit burnt yet it was pink on the inside (fine by me) and a bit dry. The pickles weren't my fav either with them being sweet? I asked for no tomatoes but was shocked there was no onion or such, and the sauce I saw but did not taste. Both my friend and I acknowledged that they had amazing fries, but a refill of ketchup would've been nice. Finally, I had placed my file folder on the table while dining and forgot to pick it up on the way out and no staff alerted me as they were actively clearing it as soon as we got up. That made me a bit sad.

When I found out they had a location in Empire Centre, we headed there just after they opened at 9:00... and no line?!? We ordered their famous scrambled eggs with fish cutlet and toast, and it definitely lived up to the hype. The eggs were incredibly soft and creamy which was reminiscent of omurice. The fish cutlet was perfectly fried (crispy on the outside and flaky inside) which paired beautifully with the savoury onion sauce. We also had the pineapple bun with satay beef, which was another winner. The sweet, fluffy bun and rich, savoury satay filling were a perfect combination. Salty and sweet! Of course, no Hong Kong café experience is complete without Hong Kong milk tea, and Cha Don's version was excellent... smooth, rich, and exactly what you'd hope for. It's easy to see why there's always a lineup (which started right after we got our food). Great execution of Hong Kong café classics, friendly service, and food that's well worth making the trip for. I can definitely see myself coming back.

We went around 1pm and surprisingly they ran out of a lot of options including the baked pork chop rice that I really wanted to try. Despite that, we still gave this place a try since there is barely a line, very unusual for this place. We ended up with the scallion chicken noodle (breakfast item), satay beef vermicelli (breakfast item), and black pepper baked filet over rice. These are stuff out of what I usually get, but I still enjoyed them. The scallion chicken dish was $15 which is a bit steep especially given the chicken is tiny but comes with hot drink. The chicken is a grilled chicken with skin which is flavorful, though the noodles were a bit underseasoned so it is ideal to add the sauce from the chicken into the noodles. The satay beef vermicelli is amazing. The beef is so tender and flavorful, and enhances the flavor of the vermicelli. The eggs and toast were delicious too - eggs were scrambled over easy, and the toast is very crunchy. Black pepper baked filet over rice was pretty hearty. I love the fragrance of the rice and the filet is very tender. The black pepper sauce does clash and dominate some of the flavors but it is still nonetheless well executed. For the drinks that come with the meals, we got milk tea and milk tea + coffee (yin yang) - these drink are high in caffeine even with the small size! Will update to 5 stars when I try the full suite of items they are known for, since the dishes we got were good but stuff that I could've gotten elsewhere.
