Came for a Knicks vs Nets game. The stadium is easily accessible from trains and there's lots of food in the area. There were lots of different concession stands in the stadium that provided various kinds of food. We saw they even have jerk chicken available. It was so cool. We didn't have any, but I would try it. Our seats were good. We had a good view of the game and were not in the nosebleed seats. Staff were nice. It felt so good to be back at the Barclays!!! I had to see Katt Williams on his WW3 tour. It was hilarious! My cheeks still hurt from laughing so hard. In my last review I stated that the Barclays is officially cashless and it is! No food, drink, or merchandise vendors accept cash. I noticed there were less food vendors on the lower level floor but there were plenty of alcohol vendors. There were no lines for food or drinks which was great! It was the first time I didn't have to wait for anything but I also did arrive a little early. They have a Jack Daniels vendor with great tables and a wall for Instagram photo opps. You can't enter without being vaccinated. No Covid-19 tests are accepted and they are diligently checking id's and Vax cards/apps. I can't wait until the next event. I love it here!! Drinks are overpriced, a particular female employee was rude. Ok, so I missed the part about not being able to bring a lighter with me. I asked if I could get it back after the show she said no. I wanted it back but she would allow me to go back out once I entered. So my 30 dollar lighter I'm sure is being enjoyed by the staff. I'd like to add the fact the they also said no smoking or vaping allowed. Well I got news for you. I smelled cigarettes, and definitely saw at least 2 people vaping in front of us. My motive was to enjoy my cigar after the show, not smoke while inside (common sense). My next complaint is not about the arena, but it's about the "young adults" in front of that spilled their drinks more than drinking it. They couldn't stay still and literally spoke through out the whole concert. I'm not sure why even go to a concert if you're just going to keep talking. Just my 2 cents. For me, MSG will always be better. And one last thing, the sound of the concert sucked. Performance was great but the sound system sucks. read more

1st time at this arena it was easy to navigate. For this particular event Rauw Alejandro "Saturno" concert there were many bar stations and men's bathrooms were changed to women's restrooms. Greatly appreciated! His fan base are mostly women and we want to drink and party the night away! American Express had their own entrance super fast. Security check was fast and easy. If you come here for a concert, do it the correct way and get the VIP tickets. The line was a breeze and the service at the suite was great. Staff are friendly and helpful, drinks were great even though the food is basic it still gets the job done. I came here for the Saturno Tour with Rauw Alejandro and the sound was great. Interesting venue. Went for a Chris brown concert. It's sad that they give you everything in a cup and can't even drink water from a bottle. Staff was a bit rude and didn't clarify policy. Food of course is overpriced. The tickets were also overpriced and the stage set up obstructed higher views. Limited space to stand and very steep. I'd rather fly out and go to a different basketball venue since it was so cramped with many problems. I've been here 4 or 5 times sitting in different areas and the sound is always terrible. You can't understand anything the artists are singing. Bass boom is inconsistent and a lot of echo. Coney Island sounds better and it's an open bandshell. Food and drink prices are too high. They need to see the prices in Atlanta Mercedes Benz stadium and see what should be the cost of it. The process to get inside is so disorganized when you are entering. And the staff is rude, ruining the experience before you even get inside. Every staff I've encountered while there seemed to be having a bad day or just tired. Who knows? It's just a snarky response to whatever you ask. And even when directing you, if you don't know, the interaction with the staff sn't pleasant. Besides that, There's lots of nice food selection. They have access to a nice custom jersey, and the chairs are comfortable, but overall, I enjoyed the game while I was there. read more

For a long time I was not sold on the Barclays. Then a friend said he was taking me to a Stevie Wonder Concert. I wasn't enthusiastic. In fact, I was confused. But he started making me feel like I was being a bad friend and even asked me what I had against Stevie Wonder. Secretly, I felt horrible about the fact that I did not want to go and I felt that he probably would not see us anyway. But I relented. I waited on line on a cold day to get into the Barclays. People had their phones out and my friend had his paper tickets, the old school kind. When we finally got to the door, they looked at the tickets and asked us to step aside to go to a window. It was at that point, like something out of a 90s sitcom, my friend learned that he was the victim of a craigslist scam. But Stevie sounded great. I could hear him from the dream killer customer service window and he was putting on one hell of a concert. When I finally got to see the inside of the Barclays, I felt it was ok. Then someone gave me some Nets tickets that had such a great view, that you didn't have to be on the floor to enjoy the game and I appreciated the construction of the arena for the first time. I will always be a biased fan of Madison Square Garden, but the Barclays is nice. Just buy your tickets from a reputable source. read more

The venue is cool, not too many food options, but the prices are better than what I have seen at other sporting venues (food wise) the beverage prices were still astronomical. $7 for a water!!!!!!! The seats in the upper section (205) are very tight and feel a bit unsafe at times as you have a vertical climb up Mount Everest to reach them. It was disappointing to have so much marijuana smoke inside of the venue. People smoking in the bathrooms and vaping in hallways. This is a basketball game, which is family entertainment. I don't want my 10 year old to catch contact from second hand when I take him to the bathroom to pee. read more

Attended the Nets/Knicks game on 1/21/25 and decided to grab a burger and fries from the Kosher spot near sections 29-31. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing--the burger and fries were cold, and the middle of the burger was hard. I ended up throwing out the $21 meal. To make matters worse, I had to leave the game at halftime due to severe stomach issues, which turned into full-blown food poisoning. I missed the rest of the week of work because of it. Not sure if I'll return to Barclays Center anytime soon, but if I do, I'll definitely be avoiding that food stand. read more

I've only been here twice for concerts. I'm curious of the setup for games. It's a huge stadium. I would like to get a tour one of these days of it. But from my experience the bathroom setup was interesting. Multiple entrances or exits for it and urinals in the ladies room too. There are various eateries that I saw, but never ate at as it is expensive. A water bottle is $8. My jaw dropped after seeing that. I waited until after I left to go drink and ate before the concert. All in all I would go back to watch something again at the venue. Wish they cleaned the seating area better, but that would be asking for too much I feel like. read more

At the end of the game with less than 5 minutes left, descended down to the lower level to exit and stood behind seats watching the final couple minutes along with 15 other fans. One female Barclay usher told everyone that as long as we stand behind seats we are good. 3 minutes later, another male usher comes back and says everyone needs to leave. He then comes only to my daughter and me out of the entire other group of fans (none of whom were Asian American) and up to my face asking "DO YOU SPEAK ENGLISH?" Joel was right there and all he said was the employee apologized - NO HE DIDN'T. Racist and discriminatory comments should not be tolerated. JOE TSAI - DO BETTER and perhaps ensure that even folks (including my 12 year old daughter) of the same descent as you are not being subjected to and protected from conditions based on their race and national origin. Something has to be done with the Barclays Center staff. Totally rude, unprofessional, hostile, miserable, and disrespectful staff. They behave like animals no manners whatsoever. The food is less then average and jacked up 75%, they have to do better all around. I will take my money and go to Madison Sq Garden or Yankee stadium that has some decent food. The staff also locked up the beverage half way through the show, i have Diabetes and needed sugar to stay alive, they laughed in my face when i told them that. Horrible experience it felt Humiliating, makes me never want to come back. Ghetto staff doesn't want to work but want to be paid. They should work at a correctional facility or do sensitivity training. If i can put zero stars i would, they deserve less then nothing. I've been to Barclays quite a few times for concerts and a few Nets games. It's very easy to get to as there is a subway stop and LIRR stop a block away. Once inside, there really isn't a bad seat in the house. It's very steep so be mindful if you're afraid of heights but the steepness helps make the "nosebleed" seats not so bad. read more

I went to the Barclays Center to attend Oprah's 2020 Vision Wellness Tour with my mother and sisters. We all had a great time. The venue is big, but the seats can feel a little cramped at times, especially when we got up to dance (a little scary because it's a long way down and the seats in front of you are closer to your feet, so it feels like nothing except the control of your own body is keeping you from falling down down down). It's understandable, more seats mean more money- just like airlines. All of the employees we came across, from the security in the beginning to the people helping you find a seat were very friendly and helpful. Because the Oprah/WW event was targeted more for women, they converted a men's restroom into a temporary women's restroom, which I thought was a great idea, and I was definitely thankful for this when lunch time came around and everyone including me ran for a bathroom break! My one complaint, and to me it's a big one, for most of the speaking parts of the day there was a very bright stage light pointing directly into the audience and directly in my line of vision, everyone with me agreed it was a huge obstruction. I ended the day with a huge migraine and I really think this light had a lot to do with it. Maybe it was necessary but it didn't seem to be and wasn't on for the entire day so I'm not sure what it's purpose was. Other than that, it was a great day thanks to the friendly and accommodating people at the Barclays and Oprah/WW/Michelle Obama for great content! read more

The whole experience would have been even better if they had more staff in giving directions at the start and better organization of their food service at halftime. Very accessible by the LIRR. Went here for a playoff game, and even then, the ticket line was very efficient. Once inside Barclays, the energy is palpable. As this was a playoff game, towels that read, "Playoffs: The Brooklyn Way" and noting the away team and game, were distributed upon entering. Black T-shirts bearing the word "BROOKLYN" were given to those who participated in activities out in the halls of the stadium. These activities included shooting mini basketballs into hoops and answering on camera what you like about your time at Barclays (this footage was for their social media, not TV). The Brooklyn Nets "Beats" drum line was phenomenal and energetic both on and off the court - they started playing by the entrance lobby before the game and also played during game break entertainment. Staff is very helpful in guiding you to your seats. Prices at concessions are what you'd expect - not crazy expensive but more than what you'd pay at a convenience store. And a note on the restrooms: Decent amount of stalls, line went relatively quickly, sufficiently clean. Lively and fun atmosphere! read more

I am reviewing Tickmaster.com, not Barclays Center in Brooklyn. This company is terrible. They do not take phone calls. Their phone support is manned by bunch of low paid workers. They will not refund or credit you because event orginizer has a policy. Ticketmaster pretends not to know who event orginizer are. In our case, Justin Timberlake showed up at 09:30PM, so 50,000 people were sitting and waiting from 7.30PM in their seats listening to DJ playing radio tunes from the 80s. Remember this. Once again, Barclays is ok venue. Ticketmaster is a low quality shitshow co peddling tickets. read more

Saw a game at Barclays Center on Thursday afternoon. After hearing such great things, felt a bit disappointed with the stadium itself. Prices of concessions are also absurdly high. Quality: A stadium that prioritizes the views regardless of seats, but did not do the best job in designing the rest of the space. Large gaps in the hallways between vendors and services, and tough to navigate between levels. Quantity: The seating is great, but couldn't imagine navigating the hallways with a full crowd. Value: Depends on the Event. $17 for a Beer. Ambiance: Barclays Center is located in downtown Brooklyn. At a central location it is a futuristic looking stadium, though a lot of the elements already seem worn down. It feels very cramped inside, and the design for navigating the stadium is confusing and narrow. However, there is not a bad seat in the place. Crowd: Empty for the ACC Championship early rounds. Service: It was a small crowd on a weekday, so it was the B-Team working. Parking: Terrible area to drive, take subway. read more
