What I do not like from Bardi is the lack of transparency in the cost of the service to be performed. I asked for very basic information and said that I understood if they found something outside the scope of what I thought the issue was, I accepted their estimate may be off. But no, everything had to be secretive. The price for what was done was ridiculous but I wasn't going to waste my time, so I allowed it to be performed. The tech was great. But I will never call Bardi again. If they want my business again, it needs to be earned with honest transparency. read more

Went online to request a visit to get help with a toilet. I was given the 2pm window. Hunter Burch came out to our rescue at 5. He was courteous and most important was able to reassure me that he'd be able to help out. I was waiting for a worst case scenario. He brought in a 6 ft auger and a few seconds later I heard a flush. PTL. When he was done he did an inspection of the plumbing in the house and was able to point out another item that will need to be looked at. That will have to wait for the new year. please don't use this company!!! They were here to service my A/C unit on 4/16/2026. the service technician broke my basement door and didn't tell me. I noticed it on 4/18/2026. I called them 3 times in 2 days before I got a return call telling me they would do nothing about repairs. Don't let this happen to you. Recently had work done by Bardi, and the experience was nothing short of infuriating. We originally had a trusted plumber quote us $300 to fix a minor leak--nothing major, just something that needed attention, especially since we're in the middle of selling our home and hosting showings. Unfortunately, our regular technician was unavailable for two weeks, so we reluctantly decided to call Bardi again, despite already noticing in the past that their prices had gone up while the quality of their work had gone down. That decision turned out to be a huge mistake. They came in and quoted us $900 for the same simple leak repair--already an outrageous jump--and then tried to upsell us an additional $1,900 to "service" a brand new water heater, claiming it might fix the issue. That uncertainty alone should have been a red flag. The plumber completed the job in about an hour and a half, and while the leak initially seemed resolved, what he left behind was completely unacceptable. The shower was essentially damaged in the process. The middle knob barely turns, causing water to continue running improperly, and the cold water handle is now loose, turning the wrong direction and on the verge of falling off entirely. It's obvious the handles were tampered with or loosened under the excuse that our pipes are "old." When we called them back to address the problems they created, they sent another plumber--who then had the audacity to quote us $3,000 to fix these new issues. This isn't just poor service--it feels like a deliberate attempt to create more problems in order to charge more money. The lack of accountability, the inflated pricing, and the careless workmanship are beyond frustrating. I would strongly advise anyone to stay far away from this company. read more

Interior / Exterior N/A Customer Service I called and spoke to a very friendly young lady named Taylor. She was supposed to call me back because I wanted to find out how much they charged to install garbage disposals. She didn't have access to the flat rate pricing, but said she'd get with a supervisor or technician and call me back. She forgot the call back, so I called the main number back after 5pm and spoke with another associate, JaNae / J'Nae (sp?). JaNae said she'd have a technician call me back right away. Steve H was the plumber I spoke to and he couldn't have been nicer. He wasn't pushy at all and he even gave me some valuable tips on things to look out for if attempting DIY. Stellar stellar guy. Price / Value Bardi charges a flat rate of $88 for service calls and if you have the repair done, the $88 goes toward the repair. (I thought I'd mention this because there are some companies that DON'T treat the service charge this way.) I wound up not hiring them because their price to install / replace a garbage disposal was $350. They had a coupon for $88 which would bring the price down to $262, but that's still a lot higher than the average installation / labor. Most companies charge around $130 - $150 for labor on a garbage disposal. Same Day Appliance, who I normally use, charges $120. I also appreciated the 5% Veteran's discount they offer. Overall Overall, while I genuinely enjoyed the great customer service I experienced, I feel like the pricing is greatly inflated. I also liked the Friends of Bardi plan. I didn't quite understand the way Taylor explained it because it seemed kinda like a Home Warranty (pPlan is $360 for the year or $29.95 per month), but Steve cleared up my confusion. So five stars for customer service, but 1 star for higher than average prices. read more

I had my routine maintenance done today by Edgar and he was great! Replaced my filters answered all of my questions not only about the unit that Bardi installed but also my other older unit as well. Bardi is always easy to get in touch with and I haven't ever had a problem getting an appointment whether same day or next day. read more

After a lightning strike at my residence in 2019, I called Bardi to repair my AC. Their diagnosis was that the entire system was damaged, old and had to be replaced costing several thousand dollars that I didn't have. I got a second opinion from a guy who works alone and he found a broken ground wire at the 240v condenser connection was at fault. He repaired it for the $55 call out fee. Just other example of how Bardi can serve their customers better. I have a faucet in my master bath that was stripped (kept turning with no stop point). The Bardi technician said that he had to replace the cartridge (Special Order Part):$1,400.00 including my $250 discount. I called the Kohler warranty department and they stated that the Stem Driver was the bad part and recommend I purchase the part on Amazon.com. For a total of $7.00 plus $6.00 shipping, with 5 minutes of labor, I (a non plumber) was able to repair this issue. So what's my message to Bardi? Really!?! If the lady on the phone at Kohler warranty can correctly diagnose my issue, I really don't understand why a certified plumber onsite in my bathroom could not figure out that this was the problem. My suggestion to other customers, always get a second opinion. read more

There is no way you can expect people to pay $400 per pound for freon when the average price ranges from $75 to $100 dollars. Not to mention, the over inflated cost of labor. How is it possible on a warranty item, Bardi quotes a charge of $4300 for labor and 4 bottles of freon and another company is able to complete the repairs for $700 including freon? read more

Been part of "Friends of Bardi Membership" eight years. What once was a 5 star organization is no longer. Missed appointments, no follow up and unorganized. Used them for HVAC and plumbing. Work used to be competent and prices reasonable. Today, they inflate their prices and each technician has the ability to inflate their quote(s). They will tell you it's industry pricing. If they treat established customers like they don't care, why would you continue using them? They made their point. "Show Me The Money " should be their new motto. I requested a HVAC tech come out to my home as my AC was not working properly. The tech recommended that I get a new AC. He told me he would have his sales rep come out to talk to me about the options I would have as far as replacing it. Their sales rep showed up. His name is Jimmy, and he told me all these great things about Bardi and their products. We came to an agreement of my buying a cheap HVAC system as I was trying to save money. It would cost me 12,000 dollars for the system. The next day April 5th, 2025 their install tech came out and installed the equipment. I was at work at the time, but I had a family member there. I returned home to find out the lower level of my home was not being cooled, and they had left part of my old HVAC system connected to the new system. It was a burnt up disconnect that should have been replaced and was a major part of what was wrong with my old system. Also they used a panel cover from my old system instead of new. I asked Jimmy to come and pick up the equipment which it states I have three days to reject the equipment in the contract. He expressed that I couldn't reject the equipment after it was installed. They had a tech come out the next day April 6, 2025 to fix the downstairs not working, and he fixed it. The next day it happened to be cold outside so I turned on the heat. No heat was coming out of the vents just cool air and the fan unit was running extremely loud outside. It was so loud it sounded like the fan unit was in my room on the second floor, so I turned it off. When I did turn off the fan unit made a horrible exploding noise. Once again I called Bardi and asked them to come get their HVAC system, they refused. Crystal the customer care rep is who I spoke with. She scheduled another repair tech to come out on April 12th to look at the HVAC system. I waited the entire day and no one showed up. I finally called and the receptionist told me it was their employee appreciation day no one would be coming. Monday I received a call from Crystal their customer care rep stating she text me and told me no one would be coming, but I never received that text. She scheduled another appointment for Easter Sunday. I stayed home Easter Sunday instead of going to church, and no one showed up again. I've stated each and every time I've spoken with someone from Bardi that I don't want to do business with them but they are basically trying to force me to keep their equipment at this point. This is by far the worst customer service experience I've ever had. These people are trying to rip their customers off basically. This should be illegal. I've reach out to get a lawyer to force them to remove their equipment from my home. Stay away from these people at all cost. read more
