True Plumbing replaced our 16 year old gas water heater two years ago. Today, the technician told me we needed to replace our 2 year old water heater and get an electric one instead. I've been very happy and satisfied with the level of professionalism and availability with the company. From the moment I called them, they were able to come out the same day. I've used them a handful of times in a short period of time to address some items at one of my homes. They give you a 4 hour window of when a technician will be able to come. They updated my newly purchased homes kitchen sink pipes to an S Trap and also brought my water heaters thermal expansion tank up to code. When the technician has entered the house, they wear the shoe coverings. I really appreciate that. I've mostly worked with Gary who was very awesome and also Matt. We got a new disposal for our kitchen sink. I called at 8:00 am on the Tuesday of Thanksgiving week and they were able to come out the same day. I asked for a quote over the phone and Kim said it would be about $400. They gave me a 3 hour window and the plumbers got here on the earlier side of it. They called me when they were on the way over. The new disposal we got costs about $135 at Home Depot or Lowe's. They charged $430, including tax, labor, and a 2 year warranty. I'm not sure what other plumbers charge, but we went with True Plumbing because they were able to come same day. Adam and Mitchell were timely, explained what was going on, and cleaned up. They also took a look at another sink and didn't charge me for it. I recommend True Plumbing, especially when in a pinch. read more

Through the crazy process of buying a home, sometimes it feels rare to find genuine, kind human beings. After dealing with TWO other plumbers this week, all of which tried to sell me a bait and switch of a certain price which doubled once they arrived and told me I'm not a member, or since I wasn't buying something else, I sent on their merry way. Shawn quoted me a certain price based on me already knowing what the problem was and Kyle arrived with that price ready to work. Kyle did tell me about a few things I should do to my plumbing to ensure the life of the system, but I declined because we may not stay in this home much longer and it was nice to finally have someone accept no as the answer. This was a big job in my mom's home, including replacing 2 toilets with cut-off valves, the main pressure control to the house, and one flange. As much of the needed repair was not in the original estimate and was discovered when the work began, discounts were applied. I have no idea if the charges were in line, but I've had similar work done in the distant past and paid similar costs. And once scheduled only 2 days after the estimate was done, all work was completed in one day, excellent clean up, and communication was constant. This was by far the best plumbing experience for the past twelve years. Stephanie took my call on a Friday late afternoon. their technician Joe came by on Saturday late afternoon. Analysis of the damage was done accurately. I was standing by and learned where our in house shut off valve is located and what pressure values work with our water heater. The pricing estimate for this job was absolutely reasonable. No one tried to sell me anything, which most technicians are forced to do by their companies and which can ruin a company's reputation within minutes. Joe did a tremendous job and he went the last quarter mile to get everything fixed. Pricing was very competitive to the large plumbers in town, but a bit more than some of the smaller guys. Net/Net, well worth the money to have these guys do the work. We had a bit of a flood from what I thought was a leaking toilet downstairs. My usual go to for plumbing services was booked solid on other emergency callouts. I called a second company and someone was able to come and look. He quickly identified that it wasn't a leaking toilet. It was a blocked sewer line, which required an effort he couldn't do that day or several days into the future. He called True Plumbing. While even True couldn't come on Friday, they came on Monday and were able to clear the blockage. Restoration is another matter, but I've needed a plumber twice more in the four weeks since it happened, and True Plumbing has responded quickly. It's been a different plumber each time, but the price is reasonable, the work is done well, and everyone has been really polite and friendly. Highly recommend True Plumbing. Especially if like me you live in a house that's sixty years old with original pipes and valves. read more

I contacted one of the plumbers at True Plumbing who had been recommended to me by neighbors about a leak coming from my jetted tub. I was told that they would need to cut into the ceiling to search for the leak. After finding the leak was coming from the plumbing to the jets in the tub, which I already knew, the plumbers explained that their company doesn't work on jetted tubs and that was all they could do. I was left with a hole in my ceiling and a bill for it without learning anything I did not already know. The fact that I wasn't told from the start that True Plumbing doesn't work on jetted tubs when this began with a request to fix a leak in a jetted tub is incredibly frustrating. Neither the plumber I contacted initially nor the plumbers who made the service call explained this crucial fact at any point along the way. I could have skipped the demolition or the entire service call if they had shared this information. I would not recommend using this company. read more

I had used True Plumbing for a hot water heater replacement, which was fine. I hired them to replace the outdoor faucet which was leaking. I requested a freeze proof faucet, which is what I had before. It was a different design and leaked from the vacuum breaker cap that provided the freeze protection. Ryan came out and replaced the vacuum cap. A couple months later, I then had them out to fix the kitchen sink which was leaking from the basket strainer. The basket that they used for the replacement was much cheaper than what I had before, and I told them I wasn't happy with it. They told me that if I wanted something else that I could install it myself. In addition, the sink is still leaking. The front faucet was also leaking from the hoses (and I asked them to tighten it. I checked the faucet a month after they were at my house, and the faucet is leaking again from the vacuum breaker). I asked True Plumbing to fix this, but they refused because it's been over 90 days since Ryan replaced the cap. the faucet that Ryan used is a cheap fixture prone to leaks. The previous one worked for over 15 years. The one at the back of my house still works (15 years and counting). If you are looking for a plumber to do cheap work with cheap parts that don't last, then True Plumbing is your contractor! read more
