The Bare has upped its game since my last visit (before Covid). They've made upgrades to the decor including: improved lighting, seating, signage, and wall art. The overall effect is to give the club a warmer, cozier, feel. There was a very positive vibe in the club on the Thursday night of my visit. I was treated well by all of the employees including the dancers, floaters, managers, bartenders, waitresses, parking valet, and restroom attendant. The lineup of dancers was awesome - lots of serious hotties strutting their stuff. And they were making themselves available, chatting with customers, or with each other, out on the club floor. They were not hiding in the dressing room or outside on the smoking patio. Another change, which I am very much in favor of, is that girls now wear sexy outfits when they are not onstage. They used to walk around naked. This is a big step up in class, which I believe is partly responsible for the more positive vibe I felt in the club. I look forward to my next visit. read more

Seeing as its a Tuesday night at a club that is not even very busy on the weekends, I'm assuming this is something that happens more than every once in a while. The contestants are asked to arrive between 9:30-10. Contest does not begin till around midnight. During that time girls are asked to walk around and tell guys to cheer for them during the contest. The girl who wins first place is a "ringer"-the management know her. As an amature night connoisseur I can tell you that this is not a good one to go to. read more

4/26/2009 I'm not sure how new the reviews of Bare Elegance on here are, so let me give you a 2009 break down: First of all, with strip clubs, it depends, to a great extent, what you're looking for. I am on the picky side, so when I started going to strip clubs years ago, I only used to go to clubs that had features. Since I'm into big, fake boobs, house dancers rarely did it for me. So my taste in clubs was far different from most people, who are into "real" girls. But when I moved out to LA, I learned very quickly that LA clubs have a lot of these "centerfold" type girls I'm into as house girls, and even have them at times during the day. And no place is this more true than Bare Elegance, close to LAX. The thing about Bare Elegance is this: a lot of the girls look like models. I'm sure it's pretty expensive on Friday nights and other "peak" times, but during the day / week, it's a $6 cover. They do have valet parking, but again, during the day they don't enforce it. But their girls, again, are centerfold caliber. Not many fake boobs, but big naturals, and young. Very hot in terms of the women, even the waitresses. So if that's what you're into, this is the spot. Why no perfect score? Well, for one thing, it's /too/ good. To me, when you're dealing with House girls, friendliness goes a long way. Bare Elegance girls, however, are pretty much like any stuck up hot chick - they really don't seem to care about you, they just want your money. Not too surprising, but there are other clubs (read my forthcoming review of Jet Strip), which have girls that don't mind just chatting it up with you. And I don't buy dances, so I don't know how much they charge, but when you see the place with its three stages and disco lights, you know it probably ain't cheap. And the songs are shorter than they are at an average strip club. They give you just enough to tease, but then it's immediately start soliciting you for dances. It's not a great hang out - more of a special occasion type of place. And again, if you're into that, it's great. The girls are hot, and everything is upscale. But for me, if you're going to be that way, you should have features. Something to justify the expense. So it's good for what it is, but I'm not really crazy about what it is.
