We came in with a group of 5 getting tattooed- 4 by JP and 1 (mine) by Al. Without dragging Al, I'll just leave the pictures of my tattoo below. I asked JP to fix my tattoo after my friends had all finished and he did an AMAZING fix. (all of my friends tattoos looked amazing him as well). When I was getting my tattoo fixed, Al came over and told me "he had asked me if it was okay". I didn't respond because I'm not arguing with an employee at their job. The photos truly speak for themselves. See JP if you go here bc he does incredible work!

He is thoughtful and extremely knowledgeable about tattoo styles, traditions and superstitions when it comes to inking your body. We kept our work very simple....He has a delicate touch! Tattoo artist Olivia is awesome! I got a forearm tattoo and was so impressed with her gentle hand, percussion and speed. My letters are crisp and clean and the shading down on a flower is beautiful . She is friendly and welcoming, which I feel is very important when sitting with somebody for an hour plus and having something permanent done to your body. I'm already thinking of what I want done next. Highly recommend!! read more

Al is such a gem to work with. Got my very first tattoo with him back in 2016. My friend also got a larger tattoo with him that required shading. Mine was just a simple tattoo near my collarbone area. This year I came back for a touch-up. The new location is convenient to get to and it's a much nicer space. He used a darker ink for my touch-up and he spent a good amount of time touching it up than I expected. It looks like a brand new tattoo again. Very easy to communicate with and he's clear with any aftercare instructions. I usually reach out to him either through Facebook or Instagram. read more

A great experience for a spur of the moment decision. My artist, JP or also known as Japz did my brother and I's tattoo. We were a walk in at first but since we were visiting family in Vegas (we are from Cali) we had plans that day and he didn't have any room for walk ins until later which collided with our plans. We talked for a little bit and he asked what we wanted and he offered to come in early the next day just so he could take us in. Just from that, I knew that he would take good care of us!! The shop itself is very clean and so is JP when preparing everything for the tattoo or just for you to sit on the chair. His work on my brothers tattoo was amazing as well and he added some extra to his tattoo. JP also touched up my mom's tattoo and added an extra piece as well. Very nice of him to take us in early before the shop even opens, even though we were originally walk ins! Definitely coming back if I'm ever in Vegas and want a tattoo. Thanks again!! read more

Called ahead of time to confirm time of opening for Friday the 13th tats, which they told me 8am and I even told them that's great as I work graveyard so I can go there after work. There Google maps say they open at 12, and now there instagram says 9:30. Wouldn't recommend a place who can't provide a proper schedule to tat me. read more

Japz was my tattoo artist for 3 tattoos. I went to him for their Friday the 13th and the Halloween specials BareFace Ink was hosting and even though the tats are small they are very detailed. He is very professional and friendly, I was completely comfortable throughout the tat session. I would definitely recommend him as your tattoo artist. read more

I'm writing hoping al see this and to show how you treat loyal ppl that have been getting tattoo by you and you test them like shit and can't even send a measly 80 dollar because you probably to broke financially that you have to take it out of the shop you didn't even stop to ask if I want to get my whole half sleeve done in shot no I didn't want them trying to bleed money out of ppl because you're fucking broke pathetic read more

Man that's bad place to get tattooed I mean i got a tattoo from there thinking that it will turned out great but i was wrong, my lines were jacked up and messed up and the tatoo artist said that he was a pro nah, personally I could of gotten a better tattoo from another shop, that shop is awful, I wouldn't recommend going over there . read more

I reached out to Revolt before coming to town. I described in great detail what I wanted. I was…read moreclear about 12 characters, the size and placement of the tattoo. The only variable I didn't define if the font. I assumed the tattoo artist would know best what would work. For some reason, they wanted me to provide artwork. I get it, you do a lot of work and everybody wants something different, but I just wanted a name and date, since the size was specified, the only thing left to debate was the type style. For some reason, they couldn't or wouldn't quote me, I was told that there was a good chance it would be the shop minimum, but they couldn't confirm and with it being 110 degrees, I didn't want to be shuffling up and down the strip when any competent shop should have been able to quote me in advance. That did in fact happen here, and when the people at Illuminati were clear and told me they would present me with font choice that didn't elevate their quote, I ended up using them. I have no idea how much money flows through Vegas, but when people come here, they come to spend. Pardon me if I like to know in advance what I'm spending. So unless Yelp has changed their policy that a review is a unique experience, I trust that this detailed account of Revolt satisfies the terms and conditions I agreed to. Moderation is great, but without integrity, the review system breaks down.

Disarm customers. People have stigmas about tattoo. For some it could be the price, for others it could be the pain and for some it could be the quality. I know what I wanted was so vanilla, that anyone could not only do it, but do it quickly. Originally, I thought Koolsville could do it and I'm sure they could, but in reflection, I didn't want a tattoo that was going to fade or not look like a paid full price. The shop that I ended up using understood what I wanted, was able to confirm pricing ahead of time and ASSURED ME, IF I CAME IN, I'D BE TAKEN GOOD CARE OF. That didn't happen in my exchange with your staff. *********************************************************** Yelp claims to be a place of integrity, but at times the review system is abused. Reviews are intended to capture an experience. You don't have to spend money or even be a customer to have an experience with a business and that is exactly what I reviewed for Black Spade. I reached out to them about having work done while I was on vacation. Rather than call them rude or abrasive, which they were, I'll just say they were dismissive. Based on that interaction, I continued to request quotes from other vendors before being treated with respect by Illuminati Tattoos. So, unless Yelp has changed their policy and reviews now require a documented exchange of money. That is my first-hand recount of contacting Black Spade. Some times you got to call a spade a spade.

I got two tattoos with Japz. One in march and one just recently. He was very understanding of my nervousness and made sure I was okay. He got me a stress ball to squeeze for my last tattoo and it took all my stress away. I went in with family and he fit us all in. He was sweet and kind to all of us. He let us talk to him and watch him tattoo our other family members. My tattoos healed really well and they look so good. He was open to the changes I wanted for my tattoos. My cousin recommended him as she got most every one of her tattoos done by him. He is an amazing artist! They didn't cost as much as I would've expected which was an added benefit. Thank you! Japz "JP"did an amazing job on my tattoo. He did it as part of a set of matching sibling tattoos. He spent 2 hours going over the detail. He would answer any questions I had on the process and was very detailed in the design. He first did my siblings the day before, he gave us very fair quotes, and even accommodated my sister after she was an hr late to her appointment. He never raised the price or tried to charge us more than what was stated. His work on water color was amazing and overall an excellent artist. read more

I got a word tattoo and he made sure that the spelling was correct, right size, and font. I appreciate him being creative and offering some tweaks to make my tattoo pop and look better. He told us that if we had questions or wanted changes the day of the tattoo we could do that. He put the stencil on and we told him we LOVED it - my husband asked a total of 2 questions about the shape and positioning he was planning for a couple areas. During the 2 question he asked, Joseph's only response was "you should let the artist be an artist" in a very rude tone. He then proceeded to cancel the entire tattoo saying we were "micromanging". I have MANY tattoos and have worked with many artists who gladly went over the tattoo and the design choice before starting with no issue. Joseph is not your artist if you like to collaborate, have an elaborate design, or even have a question about any aspect of the piece. Maybe Joseph has forgotten that this tattoo is going to be on his customer FOREVER. It was embarrassing and rude to just make us leave after showing nothing but respect to him and the shop. If he cant deal with a couple questions from a customer - he's in the wrong business. Hopefully this saves someone the headache of dealing with this unprofessional tattoo diva
