With my only prior massage experience being an acupressure massage, I was looking forward to a more conventional massage here. I chose the 30 minute deep tissue massage, which is $35 if you pay cash (plus tax if you pay with card). Unfortunately, it felt as if I spent more time feeling uncomfortable or in pain rather than feeling relaxed - but I thought that could be because I was tense and have never had a deep tissue massage before. Between sitting at a desk all day and tearing apart my back playing golf, I was in a decent amount of pain going in. I wish I would have known about this place sooner! I had a bad stiff neck with so much pain because of bad sleeping position.I went there to relax my neck and shoulder muscles. I got better after the 1 hr massage. She figured out the areas on my neck where I have pain by just pressing and feeling the hardness of the muscles. Good massage on all pressure points. read more

I've been here twice, for full body and foot massage, respectively. The first experience was perfect, I enjoyed the service. However, I was told to give a certain amount as the minimum for the tips at the second visit. I came here for my birthday, but this was not a great massage/spa experience by any means. The masseuse didn't say anything before beginning; the typical "any problem areas" or how firm you'd like the massage to be conversation didn't happen. The room was cold, the blanket isn't long enough to cover you, and the lotion/oil used didn't feel or smell like good quality (she also barely used any). The massage technique was very uncomfortable- I left feeling more achy than I did coming in. It was not a relaxing experience at all. The place is clean & well decorated, but that's all that stands out to me. I was disappointed because most reviews said otherwise. Hubby and I went for foot reflexology. The foot massage itself was ok for me, not so much for my husband. He said he was in pain the whole time and just very uncomfortable that he couldn't wait until the time was up. But that wasn't the worst of our experience. It was the lady at the front desk who was rude and unwelcoming. When I told her we only wanted a 30 minute service, her response was "but it's $30 for 30 minutes!" in an aggressive tone, and to which I replied, "yes that's fine" as I already knew that by reading their website. She then said "oh so you don't care?" Anyway, we ended up getting a 60 min service because the masseuse told us it's only an additional $10 to upgrade ($40 total per person). Upon check out, the front desk lady demanded we give both the masseuse $10 each for gratuity and charged us an extra $5.30 because we used credit card instead of cash. Now, my hubby never complains about anything and is usually happy and thankful anywhere we go. This was the very first time he said he immediately felt uncomfortable upon entering the place (because of the front desk lady's attitude and the overall energy of the place) and that he did not like the customer service and will never go back. read more

This is my first time writing a review because I think it's important for others to know. My husband and I were here for the first time. We had gone to different places for foot massage and we decided to try this place. While our masseuses were good, the lady in the front was very rude. The service we selected was 38 dollars, but the lady required us how much we should tip right after we gave the tips to our masseuses. She told us a specific amount that we had to give which was 30%! Normally we would be glad to tip but her attitude was horrible! She said "who would give this amount of tips? The customer before you gave more than you" It apparently became a hidden service fee rather than a gratuity. We paid as she said but her attitude won't win us back. Went there this past Saturday with 3 other girlfriends for a foot massage. We had the entire room for ourselves and it was great. The massage therapist did a great job with our feet and also did a quick massage for our shoulders and necks. Feels great, very relax; wanted more. The therapists were very friendly and so was the owner Na. My therapist was Kim. They know what they are doing. We will definitely go back for a full body massage. We tipped the therapists $10 each. Not sure how this place has so many positive reviews - it was one of the worst massage experiences I've ever had. Overall, the place is sketchy looking, but a friend recommended it so I gave it a shot. The woman at the front desk was incredibly rude and pushy. She aggressively pushed a 60 minute massage (for the "special price" of $38) even though I insisted that I only had 30 minutes (I was on my lunch break). The price listing both on their website and in the brochure clearly states that it's $30 for 30 minutes of foot reflexology and neck and shoulder massage, however, the masseuse only did my feet. When I asked why the neck and shoulder massage was not included, the rude woman at the front said that is only for the 60 minute service, however, that's not what they advertise. The massage itself was mediocre at best. Seemed like the guy didn't really know what he was doing. And the worst part of it all is that you are in a room with other people sitting on chairs that don't seem very clean. Also, there's definitely a hygiene issue here since the masseuse dips into a tub of cream throughout the massage - double dipping, if you will, by touching your feet and then going back to the tub of cream and then back to your feet again - just imagine all the bacteria in there! Yuck. To wrap up the terrible experience, I was pressured into paying cash, even though I wanted to pay with credit card, AND THEN was told exactly how much gratuity was expected of me. Superior massages by real experienced people. I had a 90 min prenatal and foot massage and I can say confidently, that I felt like a million bucks. There is a slight language barrier, but you won't need to do much talking, their hands say it all! The decor is always inviting, clean and warm as is the receptionist and all the therapists. They're getting a 4 star only because they don't use the fancy warming beds, rather the traditional wooden massage tables. The softer beds are just my preference. I just had an experience, not just a massage. An experience. Sophia is amazing massage artist. I like a really hard deep massage and she delivered. She did moves I've never had anyone do before that were blowing my mind; I'm in disbelief and feel like i've been readjusted to reality. It was an experience, she put her whole self into it and is so strong and does brave things like hold your hand. The people there don't speak much English but they are very warm and always have spots open and are very friendly. You can hear when people come in the front parlor but otherwise it's very clean and much nicer than appears on the outside. I like the ambient music they play, really transports you elsewhere. I had prenatal massage there which I wouldn't really recommend, it's a specialty, go to Soma up the street for that. But it felt so good to get a sports deep tissue massage with Sophia, I will be getting their five for 200 deal if you pay in cash. Some weird things happen like farts from the masseuses on two occasions, also one time there was a switch of person mid massage, but all in all it's the best option around I think and prices are very reasonable. read more

Ann Marie is by far the best on staff. She is fantastic at working part of your body and she is very professional, friendly and courteous. This place is super clean. The rooms are also super clean. Fresh towels are always used. Ann Marie is really good at the hot stones. The massage tables are heated for when it's cold. They have a foot massage reflexology room too. I've only used that once though. I usually go for 60 min full body massage but occasionally go for 90 mins. If you go make sure you see Ann Marie. Massages themselves are very good, especially the foot reflexology. However, the receptionist is uncomfortably pushy about tips, insisting on more than 20%. My boyfriend and I called ahead about the price which was less that what we were told after we arrived at our appointment. When we pointed this out, she played it off as though she had no idea what we were talking about and continued to treat us as though we had cheated HER. Likely won't go back after this. read more
