I went in to get my tire fixed... Amazingly fast and friendly. I appreciate the reasonable prices the most.

We took our 5th wheel to them on a high recommendation to have tires mounted on it. We also purchased high pressure valves to have installed. We are now getting ready to leave for a 1300 mile trip. The husband was doing a pre-trip tires and torque check and discovered that one tire was almost flat and that the high pressure valve was NOT installed. This is a bad thing! This could have caused a lot of damage. We live full time in our RV and this could have cost thousands of dollars. We had to take the tire off, not an easy task, and pay another company to fix what they messed up And...they didn't even balance them. Grrr. Please be careful and monitor what you are paying them for! read more

Don't let this rough exterior fool you. The Bargain Barn Tire Center knows tires. The staff is friendly and helpful. I stopped in after work to have them check out a slow leak in one of my tires. I was expecting them to tell me to make an appointment. To my surprise they could fit me in in about 10 minutes or so. The technician was nice and explained that he found a slow leak caused by a nail And would have fixed in a few minutes. $20.00 to get it all patched up. We are traveling to Oregon from Illinois, pulling a fifth wheel and had a low tire, were told by a gentleman at Loves truck stop to go to Bargain Barn, so glad we did , they were all so helpful got us back on the road very quickly and without us breaking the bank! He says: Last summer, we had a spinout on a slick road and ended up doing some "ditch diving" as they termed it. Our tow guy (who was a 5-star fellow himself), brought our car to the Bargain Barn. The guys there did a great job at a very reasonable price. They had to take off all the tires, hose them off, and check them all for damage. They did a great job, thankfully finding no damage, and charged us just for a tire balance. Total charge: $12 plus tax. No upsells, no phantom repairs, just a simple fix and a clean bill of health. A year later and the car is still running fine. She says: We admit, the guys at Bargain Barn were pretty much holding in their laughter as we came over to pick up our car, post ditch-dive (our East Coast baseball gear must have given ourselves away as uninitiated to the Midwest roadways) -- but, they were very friendly, prompt, and honest. They did a terrific job cleaning everything, restoring the tires to their pre-grass-stuffing condition, and sending us off safely -- all for a very reasonable price. Thanks guys! read more

These guys are amazing! We are renting an RV and had some tire problems. Got referred by someone we had just met at a gas station up the road and crossed our fingers! Terry and the staff at Bargain Barn Tire Center took us in right away and figured out our problem in less than 5mins - literally, from the time I walked in the door asking for help to the time they diagnosed our issue. Do not take your car here for wheel alignment! I took my car in for alignment and my right wheel was over 1/2 inch back and they didn't even tell me! Now I'm on my 3rd set of tires 30k miles later! And that's only 1 of my cars that I took there that the tires aren't that expensive! My other car has 235/45/17 that aren't very cheap! They were rated to 60k miles, now 20k miles later and on my 2nd set as of 2 weeks ago! Before I took this one there it drove straight, when I picked it up it was pulling to the left, their excuse was the tires need to be rotated, when they rotated them for me it still pulled to the left! My sister took her car there for alignment too and they didn't tighten one of the lower control arm bolts after alignment! And guess what!?! Needed new tires too! If there was an option for negative 5 stars that's what I'd give them! They are terrible at what they do and if you don't want to buy a new set of tires after only 10k miles I don't recommend them at all! I was just there to get a nail out of tire and have it patched, got me in the shop in 10 mins, fixed tire in about 10 mins, bang done. Cost $13. I can't imagine them putting on different size tires like the other post. If they did bad work go back and tell them about it, don't keep wearing out good tires or keep bitching about something that can be fixed. When I get new tires I will watch for a couple months to see if I can find any irregular wear. Yes your head! read more

Beware of price gouging! $25 per tire for installation just to swap some tires around. Paid less than $40 last time I had them do it. He actually told me that the just lead to balance the wheels costs $40. What a joke. read more

Go there if you want bad used mis-matched tires, workers who don't balance your tires when you wanted it done. An alignment that is half-assed, plus all the work done there. If you need tie rods or ball joints, go somewhere else, they don't replace in pairs, which you should, and their parts are outrageously priced. Maybe fast, but not quality work. read more
