If you are a woman, I absolutely do not recommend this place. My partner and I travel for a living, and had a tire replaced on our trailer. When we arrived in the morning, I was helping my partner hitch the trailer onto our truck, when a very loud man came out of the garage and started screaming directions over me. When we asked him to stop, he continued, and only shouted over me louder. He did, in fact, fail to line up the trailer properly with his direction. I have helped my partner back this truck onto this hitch over 100 times in the last year alone. We were entirely fine, but he insisted I was incapable. Blatant misogynistic behavior doesn't get my money, and it shouldn't get yours. read more

We had a blow-out, rear passenger side, in our GMC 3500 pickup, about 20 miles west of Sioux Falls. After we got to our hotel I immediately got on line and made an appointment for 8:30am the following day to replace all the tires because they were all several years old. I would have given a better review, but when it came time to rotate my tires, I found it difficult getting a time that worked for me. So, I rotated the tires myself. Most of the lug nuts came off relatively easy, but I had 3 could not get off with a impact wrench. I ended up using a 3/4 inch drive with a 3 foot long cheater bar to break them loose. Even with the cheater bar, I really had to lean on it. The recommended torque for a 2500 Chevy is 140 lb-ft. BTW my impact drive is rated for 600 lb-ft. Hopefully they didn't ruin my rims or rotors by over torquing the lug nuts. Must have been in a hurry that day, or lunch hour was upon us. On the plus side, ain't no one gonna steal the tires! read more

Tried to place order online, didnt go thru, so i show up for appt, and they don't have tires. (After waiting in line for 15 minutes.) So, without making another appt, they just told me to come back next day @ 0830 hrs. After waiting an hour and a half, they gave me the keys. Took my tire in for a puncture repair. They did it and the leak was still just as bad and was completely flat the next morning. went back to them and they just made a feeble excuse and fobbed me off with some BS. What they didn't know was that I've worked in the auto repair business for a good portion of my life which included tire work. Took the car round to Walmart and they showed me the tire once removed, turned out the punture was right on the edge of the tread by the sidewall and was irrepairable so I pruchased a new one. Discount tires should have known this but went ahead and wasted my time trying to repair something that was shot. So this is my third attempt to post. I'm not sure why it has failed twice , but this time is a charm... The service we received from Manager Bryan Coursol, staff member Lance and the two fellows that worked on our car is above and beyond exceptional!!! We were traveling, far from home and the tires we hoped would last for our trip decided otherwise. I phoned to find out if the needed tires were in stock. Even tho we were over 100 miles out of the way, and they were booked solid for the rest of the day, Manager Bryan promised us a spot . He warned that we may have a two to three hour wait time but he would work us in. We arrived at 3:30pm. At 4:45pm we were out the door with four brand new tires and able to safely continue our cross country trip home. Wow!!!! Great Service...we were in SD for a funeral for my mom...We drove her car as It did need to be driven. The tires were worn not from driving by deterioration from being outside exposed to the sun. I did not dare drive back to Minnesota without getting a new set of tires. They fit us in and the service was awesome. Highly recommend coming here, if they do not have what you want they will order it and give you a great price. Always fast, always call you to give you updates about what is going on or coordinate with you, and they do the work in the time frame they say they are going to do it (and it is not easy work) which is why I love coming here to have work done on my tires. Everyone that works here that I've talked to has been really nice and you can tell they genuinely care about the work they do and take your safety seriously. I have never had my car worked on anywhere else that goes above and beyond like this Discount Tire location. Great for walk ins, not as convenient for those with appointments. I have all Discount tires and really appreciate the work they do. The wait times for those with appointments can get long though. Having an appointment at a set time for a tire rotation and not getting your car even started on until 30 minutes later kinda stinks. As much as I understand having walk ins and normal wait times...it's wishful thinking to get it started on time. Can't really complain about a free tire rotation though read more

Came in with a tire loosing air pressure, come to find out I had a bent/ craked wheel in 2 places. Since I'm from outta town I was in a hurry, they gave me a used wheel for my spare an swapped my tire one to my original spare an got me back on the road quickly. They were concerned for my safety an made sure I had a good spare just incase. They were doing everything they could to help me out so I could get back to work. Terrible experience with tires. First they replaced the wrong ones. Then they ignored me and treated me like a child

Nice guys...fast and thorough. Had a screw in our tire and limped into town. We had called ahead and they were ready for us. Our guarantee was worth the money and the service was above and beyond. Derek made it fast and easy with good explanations of what came next and such with a complicated tire swap, loaner tire, inventory transfer and such. They even swapped out a funky tire pressure sensor, all in about 30 minutes. read more
