Anyway I brought in an antique ring that was 14k gold, meant nothing to me and was more useful to me as $20 than sitting on my shelf. The woman tried to tell me it was not gold. Did the test right in front of me and everything, had me believing her lies...said it wasn't even worth $10-$15. Took it to the pawn shop up the street and walked out with $75 cash because the ring wasn't stamped 14K for no reason. Their test said it was gold. Either her equipment doesn't work properly, she is ignorant, or intentionally lies to people.
