Excellent little store. I live nearby and stop often always finding some little treasure. Good source of buttons and dishes.

Staff are extremely helpful, checking up to see if you need anything from off the shelf. From Transformers to LPS to TMNT, they have everything you could possibly want in vast quantities--clearly labeled and organized--and easy to access. Prices are EXTREMELY fair. For a lot that would've likely cost me $200+ on Ebay, I paid $95 for it all. Please, do visit, and leave a good review! This business has many ignorant reviewers, and deserves all the praise it can get. Amazing place, will come again.

I stopped in to check out their video games and Funko Pops for sale. I was excited to see they had a few GameCube games as there was one in particular I wanted, but they didn't have it. I found a VR game for PS4 that slightly interested me, but it was priced at $14 and is worth around $10, so I passed on it. I saw an SNES peripheral that was intriguing, but couldn't see a price tag on it and it may have been missing a piece. There are sections for items like board games, DVDs, clothes, and video games, but I feel like a large amount of items in the store are different kinds of action figures, whether that's wrestling, Power Rangers, superheroes, etc. Not my cup of tea, but I could see it really appealing to action figure collectors.

One of my clients recently requested I escort them to Chano's Warehouse in Milwaukee this past Saturday; I was not certain what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. The exterior is somewhat sparse: a few lawn/garden tools, stacks of chairs/bins, and little else. It gives every appearance of an over-sized pole-barn and to be frank that's exactly what it is. The carpark is somewhat disorganised, but there is plenty of space and also parking available on the street. The warehouse itself is enormous, with all manner of items available for purchase: furniture, china, glasses, toys, clothing, and so on. There are vintage items: phonograph records, farm implements, period toys, etc. I was very pleasantly surprised to observe that although piled high, all the items were clean and polished; the towels/sheets/linens appeared to have been laundered and were folded/arranged nicely. The glasses were beautifully polished and the furniture was spanking clean. Yes, there is some disarray; there are heaps and heaps of things and one cannot attend to everything. Yes, the pricing is very fair; I did not think anything was too dear although some items were marked. However, considering how many items were available, this is probably not surprising and Maria, when ringing me up, offered very reasonable amounts to me (which I accepted). Yes, there is some haggling allowed on the pricing; I was able to chat for a bit with Maria, the owner, who was very friendly and told me how much she enjoyed having this business and welcoming customers. Yes, there was a line but it moved quickly and quite honestly, there was so much to look at I really didn't think it took that long. It may be reasonable to suggest that the success of Chano's Warehouse is perhaps unanticipated and that Maria and her staff are doing the best they can. Nobody's perfect. I enjoyed my visit to Chano's Warehouse (as did my clients) and look forward to returning soon (with more clients).

Finally made it to Chanos!…read more Lots of stuff to look through! Hard part was it's 50/50 in items being labeled for pricing. Which is a little odd then when you make it to checkout/makes me personally not want to grab non-labeled items. Another customer told me you can kind of bargain/haggle the pricing but if that isn't something you're comfortable doing... Overall the price I was given for my total was my max I would have spent had she gone higher I would have asked her to individually note the prices so I could put one thing back. I personally would have priced it probably $5 less especially due to one of the items being a short basket that had some imperfections and I couldn't see it being valued for more than $3 based on average of other places I'd been. But it was an experience

The floors looked dirty and the wares were haphazardly piled on top of each other on the shelves. The prices also seemed high, but I'm not sure if they have some sort of discount based on tag color or something. There was a lady making a bunch of noise tossing sporting goods merchandise around as I thought she shopped, but later on I ran across her in another area of the store throwing plastic toys around and realized that she was an employee. Based on this one visit, I don't plan to come back.

A young, newer employee took great pleasure embrassing me as she told me "more that once" where the unwanted clothes went. I was not finished. I told her that and she just kept on about her directive repeating herself rather loudly stated it was a reminder. Seems elderly people are really not wanted in that store. Perhaps she assumed, incorrectly, again, that I can't hear either. I said I don't need a reminder. Earlier in the shopping day I over heard the same girl say out loud she was watching a customer. What kind of customer service is this? Watching a customer...for what? And why talk so loudly? A superior nor rude approach to their job is unnecessary. Perhaps they took their cue from the manager. The main manager. The large white women. Sidney and Mike are the best. What an embrassing display of this inexperienced girl behaving this way and continued on and on blowing off her mouth. There is a bin full of clothes next to the rack. Clothes are on the rack and the bin was rather full. So where exactly do the unwanted clothes go? Rack or bin? Also, as we went through the clothing the sizes were all mixed up and no signage on the rods on the West nor North walls denoting sizes, plus the racks are too full it's difficult to shop. Instead of watching customers and berating them outloud in the store for many to hear, for something the customer was NOT doing or had made a mistake she could have been kind and proffesional and been discret while giving her message. Then quietly resume spending her time putting clothes in the correct places. You can always quietly and tactfully approach anyone. No need to raise your voice from a distance. Alex is a better worker than her. She's going to cause problems in that store. Smh.

She called a manager over, who starting scraping the $10 price tag off, confirming the shoes should be $15.00. I said "your backroom priced the shoes at $10, no one else has the stickers to put the wrong prices on things". The manager went on to say "anyone can get stickers anywhere in the store and put them on things". Really, do you expect me to believe customers can get your stickers anywhere in the store and them on things. A bad experience!!
