Barham Chiropractic is the BEST chiropractor I personally have been to. I had suffered for over a decade with two herniated disc's in my lower back as a result of a car accident and being dumb in my teenage years. I had gone to 3 different chiropractors with no luck (I even was made worse by one of them). My now wife had told me about Barham Chiropractic and how much they were able to help her with her issues that she had. I came in for a consultation and immediately got a great vibe off of the place. Dr. Barham seemed super knowledgeable and very personable. They provided an option using care credit or a reduced price if I paid out of pocket, which is what I did to save a bunch of money (you can also use insurance if it's covered through your plan). And since my wife recommended me there, I got a family discount which was awesome. When your care starts with them, they take x-rays of all your problematic areas and go over the findings with you and go over what their plan will be to help get you getting everything back into alignment. I was shocked to see how jacked up my upper back/neck was which ended up being the worst issue. I started off going 3 times a week and slowly went to 2 visits a week, and finally down to 1 visit a week. At the midway point, they take more x-rays and show you your progression. When you finally finish all of your adjustments and visits, they take one last set of x-rays to again show you your progress. I was shocked. By the end of all of my adjustments, my lower back was in way better shape. I was feeling great, so I decided I was done with going, even though it was recommended to me to keep going at least once every couple weeks for maintenance. Well, after 2 months of not going, I was in awful pain again. So I decided to go back and I'm now going once a week again and already feeling better. The three chiropractors here are fantastic. Dr. Barham, the owner, really knows his stuff. Dr. Johnson is fantastic (and is my wife's go to man). And Barham's son Stephen is one of the absolute nicest and professional people I have ever met. Over all my visits, I have worked most with Stephen and I can't recommend him enough. He is so damn good at what he does. And the rest of the staff there from the massage therapists to the wonderful crew of women who run the front desk are all equally as great. They are always very udnerstanding and willing to work with you and see you. I can't recommend this place enough if you are in the market for a chiropractor. I have been to a lot of chiropractic offices in my life but this by far is the most informative one. When you first walk in it's a pleasant atmosphere with nice staff to greet you. I didn't have to wait long at all. I was taken back to the room to go over how the office works. Even though she knew I had conditions and have seen prior chiropractors, that didn't stop her from going through her presentation and showing me how the spine works and what parts of the body the nerves connect to. I really appreciate learning about it since it has been years! Later on the chiropractor came in to discuss my past history and review my back. Even him reporting to his assistant to record sounded more thorough than my other offices. I was able to get some x-rays done quickly. But had to schedule a 2nd appt to follow up instead of go over immediately. I'm sure he wants to make a thorough treatment plan, instead of just adjusting and letting me be on my way. Maybe this is why I'm not healed after years of pain! I found this office through Groupon so that's a bonus! read more

I first came here about a year ago using a Groupon package with a exam and massage. The massage was very great, and I have scoliosis, but I wasn't able to afford the treatment at the time. This place is a total scam. They talk to you for hours and try to scare you into giving them thousands of dollars. I see the doctor come on here and reply to bad reviews and lie. Don't believe the lies. He said they don't have packages that cost $7000? That's funny because your receptionist just showed us 2 packages TODAY that were over $7000. Obviously these people are extremely dishonest and I feel so bad for all of the people in pain they have scammed. Luckily they only scammed us for $100. $100 for a pair of x-rays we didn't even get to keep, and to sit in a dark room for 2 hours. Oh and no massages. How is this place still in business? I've been going to chiropractors for 20 years and never been scammed like this. I swear I'm not purposely trying to bash this business, I hate complaining & writing negative reviews but this place just keeps disappointing me. I had an appointment last night at 5:45pm, I was in a time crunch since I had work at 6:30pm. BEFORE BOOKING I EXPLICITLY ASKED THE LADY AT THE FRONT DESK IF I BOOKED A 5:45PM APPOINTMENT I WOULD BE OUT BY 6PM. SHE GUARANTEED ME I WOULD & THAT WAS NOT THE CASE. I wish she would've been honest & just said for me to book a different day instead of trying to squeeze me in their already busy schedule. I didn't get seen until 6:15pm....30 minutes after my scheduled appointment. Again, my appointment was for 5:45. This is one of my biggest pet peeves. What's the point of scheduling an appointment if you're not going to honor that time? This experience made me super late for work. I had all the intention of purchasing a package last night, but after this, it's a no from me. I'll be looking elsewhere for chiropractic care. read more

DO NOT TRUST. TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOUNG AND INJURED. Total Scam. I was promised relief, I am only 22 years old with a serious shoulder injury. I paid over 3k (everything I had) and finally made progress when they decided it was time to end my plan. I never received my progress or final X-rays that were in the contract. My serious case was given to their least experienced employee. As soon as I expressed having hope and seeing progress they refused service unless I paid more money. I expressed my concerns to Dr Barham and he didn't have much to say besides a general "we tried to help" and "you'll need lifelong supportive care" I wasn't even there yet. I still was yelping in pain during adjustments, I was not anywhere near "supportive upkeep care". A waste of time and money, and all of my progress down the drain. He's a cheap charming liar. I'm seeking small claims court. Taking advantage of someone my age? I can't even pump gas anymore. This is life altering. I regret ever stepping foot in this establishment. read more

So very thankful for the care and correction and concern I receive with everyone in this office. When I began here 3 years ago, walking was painful and short distance. Sleeping was disturbed by pain in my hips and shoulder. Now I walk over a mile before I begin to feel discomfort. I sleep without pain most of the time. I have been tap dancing for about a year! I wish I had read the negative reviews here first... I went for my first appointment 2 days ago and was there for an hour and 45 minutes answering questions and getting educated on how everything in the body works and how it's all connected... finally got x-rays after an hour and a half. Was then told I wouldn't be getting an adjustment that day and would have to come back. Was told the next appointment was included in the price I paid that first day... $55 plus $50 for x-rays. Went back today and was there for another hour and a half to review my x-rays and was given what was presented to me as a personal treatment plan for all the issues they found in my back. This plan included 70 visits over 9 months for a low, low cost of over $5000, paid up front, or through a medical credit card. This is exactly the same treatment plan others have indicated in their reviews here (Yelp) from years ago. This appears to be their normal sales pitch. They want to know how committed you are to bettering your health and body... I appreciate all the education, but I had no idea what I was in for when I went in there and the heavy sales pitch was a bit much. I finally got my adjustment after spending a total of 3 hours talking and now my back hurts just as much as it did before and I have a horrible headache on top of it. And, I had to pay $70 for the adjustment when I had been told just 2 days before that the visit was included in the special introductory price I paid the first day. I have to say that the office was very busy with lots of patients coming in for adjustments and everyone in the office was very nice, so they're obviously doing something right. But, telling everyone they need to spend $5000 on 9 months of visits/treatment just doesn't seem right to me. read more

Dr. Barham and Dr Johnson treated me a couple of years ago and took all my pain away. Recently I was rear ended at 40 mph and had whiplash and lots of pain. At the time I was living in Hawaii. I've been going to Dr. Barham for about 3 months now and it's changed my life. I went in with extreme lower back pain and while it's still early in the process, I've noticed more than significant improvement. They are efficient and keep me informed and make me feel welcome. I also get monthly massages there and Monica is the best at what she does! I absolutely love her and cannot say enough good things about her services, energy and what she's done for me. The 1 star is more for the massage therapist. I would rate the chiropractor place a 3 star. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. The two doctors I spoke to are kind and friendly also but I feel they are booking more than what they can handle since they always seem like they're in a rush. I did my consultation and X ray the first day and was scheduled to come back two weeks later to go over my X-ray and get my 60 min massage. My appt was for 11am and 12pm for the massage. I checked in around. 1045-1050am. I sat and waited until 1130 before I was called in. They went over my X-rays and went over my treatment plan and quoted me at $110 a visit X 70 adjustments = $7700. Then said he gave me a discount to make it $4900 for 70 visits... but I'm confused because if you just randomly walk in and ask for an adjustment, it's $70 an adjustment. So if I were to walk in randomly 70 times, I will still pay $4900 all together. So why is it that a treatment plan is $110 each visit? They also told me that the Dr personalized a treatment plan for me and that everyone has different treatment and diff amounts of visits.. But now that I'm reading the reviews, it's something they give to everyone so I guess it's not something personal and made for me. They pushed me into checking for credit care when I was hoping to have time to think about it. Good thing I stopped myself from applying and was honest with them. Now it's passed 12 and they finally took me over to my massage appt at 1210.. the massage therapist wasn't in the room so they went to look for her while I used the bathroom. When I came out and entered the room at 1212, the massage therapist was standing there and I felt a negative vibe. She gave no smile, no welcome, no hi... just straight to the point, "what do you want to focus on" then gave me the crappiest massage ever... all she did was placed/rested her hands on my back for minutes at a time... and continued to do this for almost 20 mins or so as if she was waiting for time to pass... and when she was massaging my arm, she used her thumb to dig really deep into my forearm and I heard a popping noise and something shifted which fucking hurt so I pulled back a bit. I don't know what the heck she was doing but of all massages I've had, she fucked up. Even the cheap $40 Chinese massages felt better. I've recently discontinued the "treatment plan" recommended by Dr. Barham which included 70 "treatments" over nine months at the prepaid cost of $3,360. This included a "discount" off of the regular individual treatment price (of course). I would NEVER CONSIDER DOING THIS AGAIN. I feel like an idiot for handing over that much money up front. I was in pain and willing to do just about anything. Live and Learn. After 39 "treatments" which equated to about a 5 minute adjustment each time, I'm in more pain than I was prior to starting. FRUSTRATING. I've seen 25+ chiropractors over the last 20 years, so I feel qualified to evaluate this experience. Only one other doctor (in the SF Bay Area) has been able to eliminate my pain. He did this in less time and a third of the price of Barham. The staff is very congenial, the office is nice and runs very efficiently w/ minimal waiting time. The massage therapist, however, gave me the worst and most non-therapeutic massage that I've ever had. He seemed half asleep. read more

Don't get me wrong, I started out and liked this place but some of the decisions made weren't the most customer service friendly. I paid a big cost up front for the first half of my treatment, we agreed on a discount for two large payments, one upfront and one halfway through the 64 session treatment. I received some outside second opinions from both chiropractors and doctors and didn't feel the need to complete 64 sessions. I called to get my balance and view my options. I had less than 20 sessions but only a very small balance left (enough for one or two more adjustments). I know I didn't honor the full agreement but I figured paying half up front would atleast allow me to get half of the discount offered. It wasn't. I mentioned I was looking for massage services that they offered and wanted to see if we could make an arrangement to keep a discounted deal and transfer that over to massage services. No deal would be made and all the flexibility that this office offered went away after they had my money. Anyone who goes through school can open a chiropractic office, not everyone can provide the best customer service. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Barham for a couple months and have never had such a wonderful experience with a doctor and their staff. Dr. Barham and his entire staff possess excellent client service with a personal touch. They always greet you with a smile, by name and accommodate for any changes to appointment time. I was experiencing chronic pain, vertigo, numbness in my limbs, muscle spams, anxiety, depression. Unlike any other chiropractor I have seen, they explained how my whole nervous system was being affected by the misalignment of my back with X-Rays to provide visual evidence. They also do follow up X-Rays to show your progress. Since seeing the doctors, my pain level has decreased and I have not experienced any of my other symptoms. I was in the office last week when I got the unfortunate news that my dad passed away. Dr. Barham comforted me and the next day I received flowers from him and his staff. I was speechless. So thoughtful. The personal care they provide for their clients and attention to detail is above and beyond any other doctor or business I have ever known.
