The food is good and I was a regular. The customer service tonight was irrational. I ordered an eggplant parm sub sandwich 10.99$ The woman I placed my order with called me back to confirm I wanted the sandwich and not the dinner. Delivery man brought a sub but Iwas charged for the dinner. $20.90 and the receipt was for the dinner. Unfortunately the driver did not speak English and seemed stressed. I am not allowing anyone into my home. So I told him I would call. Please wait. He did not understand. I closed my door and he continued to knock as if I was never going to reopen the door. Stressing me out. Then he dialed a cell phone number from his phone but no one ever spoke or said hello. Which also was stressing me out. Let me call the restaurant. Just wait. I will be right back. I told him I will call, give me a minute. Closed the door again. He knocked again. Finally I gave up, gave him the sandwich back. It took me a while to get someone on the phone as it's dinner and they are busy. The woman told me she didn't like my attitude over 3$ when it's 10$ and then she cancelled my order. She said she's the owner. I asked to speak to someone else. Because I wanted to speak in English. She's the manager too. So there was no way for me to communicate unfortunately. The delivery driver absolutely thought I was taking the food and never reopening the door. His energy stressed me the fuck out. Then when I am finally trying to communicate I get told my attitude is bad. All I did was say I ordered the sub, you called me to make sure I ordered the sub but still sent me a bill for the dinner. Wow. Guess I'm not a regular anymore. Sucks to be me. Now I'm hungry and the manger/owner of Bari pizza gaslit me for trying to pay for the correct order. I can't recommend this spot anymore. And if she's the manager/owner-if you knew you made a mistake and called me back to double check-why didn't you fix the bill then? She did apologize after she told me she didn't like my attitude and that she was refunding me. But why apologize then? She didn't even listen to what I had dealt with the driver. Like ma'am I was being patient and trying to call you and your driver would not stop knocking on my door despite me knowing he was there. At one point he put his hand to stop my front door from closing. That's when I gave the sandwich back. Teach your staff to NEVER do that. You don't put your foot, your hand, or any part of your body over the threshold of someone's door when you are delivering anything. You have not been invited inside. URGENT!! I went on a run with my dog when he suddenly caught a heat stroke. I have been going to this pizza spot for years now, and it was the nearest thing to me. I carried my dog over there and without hesitation the whole staff came outside to aid me and my dog. With buckets of water and heart felt concerned towards my dogs health. These people are so kind. I owe them a debt of gratitude. And their pizza is also delicious by the way. They got this lunch special for the low, it's super fire. muchas gracias amigos :) read more

Before I say my goodbye to Bari Pizza, I must say that the actual pizza itself was pretty decent. My wife and I have supported this local business for 20 plus years and we have witnessed the changes through out the years as well. Our reasoning is super simple, and it comes down to customer service. They have a young adult working the phones / taking orders occasionally who does not care about the business at all. This person will send you to hold without saying hello or simply hang up on you. Perhaps scrolling through Tik Tok may be more enjoyable than taking an order. Last Saturday I called 15 times, and this happened to me. I could not believe it! After placing an order at Anthony's Pizza instead, up the block, I dropped off my receipt to Bari's with the hopes of speaking to a manager. Crickets!!!!!!!!!! I guess times are changing. Locals if you are lucky, I really hope your order is taken by Barbara, she is wonderful and handles business the right way. I have ordered in the neighborhood from this location for 37 years. There were times when different owners or 'the corporation' (it IS a chain) changed things and we were unhappy with them and stopped ordering for a long while. Now it is over. This place has a new process for 'delivering faster!' which is awful. WE SPENT $48 ON A 14" PIZZA! (XTRA CHEESE wasn't there but xtra tomatoes were) It DID arrive very quickly. BUT what they delivered was very, very much a leftover pizza, slightly rewarmed. It was appalling. The mozzarella was exactly like they had already baked the basics, had stacks pre-cooked, then waited for your xtras list to slightly bake them again. Cheese will not re-melt when you do this. IF it did, we would not all dislike leftover pizza the next day. For $48. Decent ingredients, worst pizza ever. Unbelievable combination. Holy mud! They are clueless. Bari pizza used to have the best pastas. Now the cook does not add enough oil or flavor, he barely sautees the vegetables and sends food out with very little flavor. That is their new standard. If you call and complain, I will quote the manager, "If there is oil on the food I will charge you again." People work hard for their money and the prices have gone up. It is sad you have lowered your standards. A cook should care about how the food tastes and take pride in their cooking. That is no way to treat customers. read more

I ordered manicotti via Uber Eats app. It took an hour and a half to arrive. The driver got lost and the order was handed off to a different driver. Not Bari's fault. The food was cold by the time it was delivered. The manicotti was actually two thick layers of lasagna with ricotta cheese mangled and cut into pieces in a tin foil container. The side salad was meager with one thin slice of cucumber and no salad dressing. The two garlic rolls were hard as hockey pucks with a light dusting of Parmesan cheese and hardly any olive oil. Bari's has totally gone down in quality and taste for the money over the years. I should have known better than to order out of my neighborhood Aventura. I have Sicilian Oven, Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza to name a couple of Italian restaurants with quality food and service. I was fortunate to get a refund from Uber Eats on this lack luster meal. Minus the tip which I can understand as it wasn't the drivers fault that the first driver bailed for whatever reason. The tracker gave me cause for concern when I could see that the first driver got lost trying to find Bari.s which is a located in a little hole in the wall strip shop that you could easily miss if you weren't familiar with the area. As for manicotti it's supposed to be a tubular noodle stuffed with ricotta not two layers of lasagna noodles undercooked. Never again will I order from Bari's. read more

Hit a HOMERUN After living here in North Miami Beach for six years and searching for an amazing pizza delivery restaurant I have finally found my families new "go to" spot. Bari Pizza is a new family favorite. We ordered delivery and they arrived in 25 minutes, food was hot and fresh! We ordered the fugaza pizza because it caught my eye and it did not disappoint. I love a good a white pie and this one hit the spot. The kids ordered a plain pizza which was also tasty and the thin crust has a good toasted flavor. They sprinkle oregano on the pie so obviously the kids are percent against anything green, but it was such a good pizza the kids ate everything, oregano and all. It gets better... The star of the show were the wings. Those wings... Took one bite and had a moment. Crispy but not greasy, well seasoned and a good amount of sauce and fresh celery on the side. I ordered sauce on the side (I'm a dipper and I like crispy) Can't wait to order from here again. For a family dinner when there's no time to cook. This place just gets it right. read more

Yum this place has flavorful pizza, you can really taste the freshness of the sauce and cheese. Surprisingly they even offer pineapple as a topping (which is rare around here). You can also get some Italian Ice as desert or just something to cleanse your palate before chowing down :-) BTW the older woman working the phone wasn't at all rude, she was actually pleasant. If I could give this place zero stars honest to god I would. This is my local pizza shop, I have tried to keep an open mind but the owner of this establishment is just horrible. I ordered a pizza today and once it got to my house all the cheese was everywhere except the actual pizza. I ordered a large fries with a steak and cheese sub that had no meat on one half and was not fully cooked. I respectfully call to speak with the manager or whom ever took my order and they began to scream and hang up the phone in my face. I literally can't make up how rude this lady was.... will not be ordering again or referring. Bari Pizza: I simply love this place (I've been here about 10 times before I started Yelping)! Ingredients are always fresh, pizza is always delicious and Bari the owner is a sweetheart who treats his guests like friends. He always recognizes us when we walk in and greets us with promptness. It makes me sad that some of the other reviewers have not enjoyed their time at Bari's but I totally recommend this place and suggest they try it again. Do not eat here ...Horrible customer service their online website offers a special for a large 2 topping pizza with a two liter ...for $17 when I was about to order it through their website it didn't give me the option to tell them which two toppings or soda I like so I figured I'd call the restaurant, the little girl who picked up the phone was extremely unhelpful and rude and told me that same deal was $18 . I told her I would just order it online but it's not asking me which topping or soda I want so how would they know what to make? She told me to call the websites customer care phone number and that she would not honor the website offer even though this issue lies solely within this business. This was one of the worst food order that I have in a very long time. The first time I ordered from here my order was fine and delivered to my door. So I decide I would order again based on my previous experience. Well much to my surprise the second time was terrible awful. First it was not delivered to my door because they stated my name as not in the box that you press to get in the gate but remember you delivered to me to my door a month ago. And yes my name is on the box that you press to get in. I order Parmesan garlic wings and a sausage mushroom and cheese pizza. The wings were so hard you could not eat them no garlic or Parmesan and lot of grease as if they were refried. The pizza 3 slithers of sausage,burnt mushrooms and the crust chewey as if it was not cooked properly. I called to complain and was told I had to call back. No apologies no remake your order, as if they knew this food was not cooked or prepared properly. Think twice before ordering anything from here. I will not order from here every again. 1 star only because you have to put in a start. Be careful what you order from here. read more
