Since that first visit, I've already been back... and now I've made hubby a fan. Not just of the treats I kept bringing home, but of the whole experience. We've been seated quickly every time, and the menu is straightforward with monthly breakfast and dinner specials to keep things interesting. Their July breakfast absolutely hit it out of the park for me. The eggs were nice and creamy, paired with fresh tomatoes, thinly sliced and salted avocado, cottage cheese drizzled with EVOO and micro greens, and fresh sourdough breadsticks. It may sound like a simple plate which, I admit, it is, but when you work out as much as I do, you learn to appreciate a meal that's high in protein, fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. This checked every box and easily became my jam even to duplicate at home. Now, onto the bakery...Hubby's current obsessions are the pistachio and chocolate almond croissants. They're generously sized, and they are not stingy with the filling. I have a feeling that's exactly why the bakery counter is constantly buzzing with takeout bags and pickup orders. I also have to give their coffee some love. I usually try coffee black (or with just a touch of sugar) because I actually want to taste it, and their Americano was singing to me with its rich aroma, and smooth flavor. Needless to say, this has become one of my top breakfast spots. I even signed up for their rewards program, which means I'll happily be cashing in my $15 birthday reward... though let's be honest, I'll probably be back several times before then.

You can tell they care about the experience. But the real standout is the Portobello burger. Instead of a traditional bun, they use Portobello mushrooms, and paired with a glass of wine, it's easily one of the most delicious things I've had in a long time. I stayed awhile, wondered if I'd get a check or there was something else I was expected to do which I figured out after the man at another table went to the desk to pay. Being a local, I'd love to enjoy this experience but I'm not sure how this place keeps its doors open if this is what the experience is like. Nice set up of varieties of different classic pods and vertuos. So many different single shots, doubles and full cup types. I usually buy mine online but now I will continue to buy in the store. It is really nice to see it in person, try new flavors and save on shipping. They offered signature holiday flavors such as gingerbread or even maple flavored pods to purchase or even taste. I would have not bought the gingerbread or the festive holiday until I tried it. It was so delicious that it was worth buying! So warm and definitely festive. The employee was so helpful that she informed me of the sale that they were having. I purchased 8 sleeves which include 10 pods inside and then you get 3 sleeves free.
