Left is dulce de leche something and right is palmerita

Decor is nice, but unfortunately the staff and pastries were not. Also good luck finding nearby parking. The staff were somewhat polite, but not friendly and seemed very uninterested. The pastries were very old tasting, like day or more old. Overall experience was unpleasant, but I do appreciate the Caracas chain itself.

I was really excited to try this place, came by on a Sunday morning and it was packed! The pastries and food looked delicious but what I really came here to try was the iced coffee I have been seeing all over tik tok! I got an iced latte and added oatmilk and honey which were additional charges so the latte ended up being almost $10! I was willing to pay though if the hype was worth it. I had to wait about 10-15 minutes for the coffee to come out as well. However I was very disappointed. The latte was so milky, you couldn't taste the honey or coffee for that matter. There's some really good coffee spots in coral gables and unfortunately I do not think I will be back to this one.

Cachito de jamón + turkey puff pastry + two side cappuccinos

As a born-and-raised Venezuelan, I don't say this lightly: the Cachito de Jamón at Caracas Bakery is a revelation. Taking a bite was like being transported back home; it's easily one of the best I've ever had, perhaps even better than the ones I remember from my hometown. The dough was perfectly baked and soft, and the ham was flavorful and cut with precision. If you are looking for the gold standard of Venezuelan pastries, this is it. However, while the signature cachito reached incredible heights, the other variations struggled to keep up: * Mortadella Cachito: This sounded "sexier" on the menu than it actually tasted. The quality of the meat didn't quite hit the mark I was hoping for. * Turkey Puff pastry: This was the biggest disappointment. The turkey was quite dry, and the pastry felt stiff and lacked that buttery, flavorful soul you expect from a great croissant-style dough. * The Palmerita: A nice interpretation, but a bit too thick for my liking. It missed that signature, toasted thin crunch that makes a palmerita so addictive. * Coffee: The beans tasted a little over-roasted/burnt, though the preparation itself was technically very well done. Beyond the food, the service was the true remark of the morning. Isa provided incredible attention, she was kind, thoughtful, and made the experience feel personal. Caracas Bakery is an absolute must try for the classic Cachito de Jamón alone. The other stuff could use a bit more refinement. The atmosphere and the hospitality make it a top-tier spot for anyone wanting to dive into Venezuelan pastry culture.

Ambiance was nice and quiet. I'm kinda upset at myself for not going earlier because everything was almost sold out. Did not realize how popular this place is. We ordered the turkey Gruyère baguette, pan de Dulce, iced matcha latte and a latte. The pan de Dulce was so soft! Loved the roll, perfect with coffee. Iced matcha was good too, you may need to sweeten it up if you are used to Starbucks matcha. I will have to come back and try their staples.

Not a bad stop in for a quick Venezuelan breakfast. It is located right in the heart of Coral Gables and easy to find. We came in around 10am and it wasn't too crowded but we almost didn't get a table. The tables are simple and there are a few pictures on the wall - presumably the owners. My date was Venezuelan so he knows his stuff and decided to choose this spot. We ordered the cachitos with ham and cheese and also a ricotta cheese and spinach pastry. They were both flavorful but the presentation was just so-so. His hot chocolate was good too but felt like it was missing something that could have made it stand out from other places nearby. The staff was efficient but a couple of the team members on the register didn't really exude a warmth or welcome that would've been nice. We felt it was all transactional and cold. All in all, this place satisfied our hunger cravings but we left wanting more. More of what you ask? More of anything - hospitality, portion size, beauty, etc.

We checked out this little bakery in the Gables for a snack. We decided to try the cheese bread and the ham & cheese croissant. Both items were delicious, so warm and fresh. The cheese bread was probably one of the best I ever had. It's so big too that I saved half of it for the next day to enjoy for breakfast. My mom loved her ham & cheese croissant. There is different pastries as well. I've gotta go back to try all the wonderful items they have available. I can't wait to give them another try. Street parking is usually available. The service was quick and the staff were nice. The bakery is relaxing, not too loud. A nice place for a little date.

I absolutely love Caracas and I am so happy that they finally expanded their menu and brought the tequeños and yogurt bowl(im obsessed with their granola) to this location! Such a cute store with delicious food, definitely recommend trying their cachitos and you cant go wrong with any of their pastries!

Primera vez aquí, pedimos un croissant de almendras y una rosca de crema pastelera, las dos estaban deliciosas y fresquitas, tendré que ir otro día a probar más cosas. Fresh and delicious Venezuelan pastry.

Very small, intimate coffee shop in the gables! they must have just opened, because they didn't have much décor. I liked the little bar with stools near the espresso machine, and how the kitchen is open so you could see the man making the pastries. I had their sausage and cheese croissant and it was delivious! It was a little cold and pink in the center, so i had to have them put it back in the oven and it was much better. the dough was so buttery and soft. I also had an iced latte and it was really good! I was hoping to try their egg sandwich, but they only have the pastries at this location, which i was a little disappointed about. The cashier and barista were super helpful and answered all of our questions.

Today I tried out their location on Miracle Mile! I got an iced mocha and a cachitos, which the special was queso and jalapeno. The coffee was perfect and delicious! The cachitos was unreal! I'm so happy I stopped by. The place is tiny with the bakery in the front and a small hallway to the back featuring a small sitting area and case full of their baked goods. I felt like the menu was fairly priced, except the sourdough loaf being $12. I will definitely be back to try something else!

No notes. Food is amazing, quick service and great location. Just be aware it will be super packed and a line, but moves fast. The cachitos are superior. It's amazing!

Los panas de Caracas Bakery: Carlix, Paula y Arturo!

Miracle Mile has a brand-new, mouthwatering sourdough aroma in the air, and it's all thanks to the ovens of Caracas Bakery! This beloved local chain has now proudly stamped its flavorful mark on this iconic Coral Gables street. Venezolanos, prepárense: your nostalgic taste buds are about to go wild when you bite into one of their legendary canillas (a.k.a. Venezuelan-style baguettes). Crispy on the outside, and pillowy-soft on the inside, these golden breadsticks will disappear before you even realize it, so do yourself a favor and grab two (mínimo). The pastelito de carne is a surprising puff of savory bliss. Stuffed with well-seasoned meat and wrapped in a flaky, buttery croissant-style dough, it's a mini flavor bomb. Each bite is rich, satisfying, and perfectly spiced, exactly what your antojitos have been craving. But of course, I saved the best for last: the one and only cachito de jamón. In my honest opinion, these are the best in town--and honestly, the best I've ever had, period. The tender, finely shredded ham tucked into a beautifully bronzed, flaky pastry is a work of art. It's a bite of tradition that has been lovingly perfected by this incredible bakery. You can also try their version filled with glazed ham and salty cheese, which brings a cheesy, flavorful twist to the classic. The quality across the board doesn't surprise me when things are made with joy, cariño, and pure Venezuelan passion, the result is always top-notch. The signature charisma Criolla shines in their warm and welcoming service. You'll probably leave feeling like panas with Carlix, Paula, Arturo, and even Erik, the pana who makes the deliveries. So go ahead, get in that full Venezuelan vibe and take a delicious trip to Caracas through Caracas Bakery, the most chévere bakery to ever hit Miami.

I decided to give this place a try during a study break and I am really happy I did. They have a variety of pastries ranging from sweet to savory. I tried the beef and chicken Bourekas as well as the cheese bread. I paid $16 for the three of them. I found that to be a bit expensive compared to other bakeries in the area. I really enjoyed the cheese pastry, especially when the cheese was nice and melted. Next I really liked the chicken boureka. The pastry was flaky and the chicken was well seasoned. My least favorite was the beef one which I think fell flat flavor wise. Make sure you get these heated up. Otherwise, the service was fast, but I was the only person ordering. The decor itself is a bit unorthodox. It's pretty minimalistic and the bakery portion is in the front. There were about 6 tables.
