We liked Jessica,…read morethe owner of the company, when we met her and trusted her and her staff to come and walk our two dogs twice per week. We had two dog walkers assigned to us, who were scheduled based on availability. Each time they would come, they would leave a note about the visit, indicating how many treats the dog got, if the dogs went to the bathroom, etc. The company has a nice online portal which makes it easy to schedule walks and choose the time of your walk. Ours were usually scheduled from 11am-1pm, or sometimes 12-2pm. Invoices were emailed out on Sunday nights, and you login to authorize a payment. One week I was double-charged, and Jessica was unable to figure out why, so I disputed the extra charge with my credit card. Another time, my credit card was authorized for payment when I hadn't logged in to authorize it. I found that odd, but had been planning to pay the invoice in the next few days anyway so I let it go. It takes tremendous trust to allow someone access to your house and your pets when you're not around, and we believed the services were being performed and visits were happening during the promised times. We were really disappointed to learn that on three occasions, our dogs weren't walked and visits weren't taking place during the promised times. On our scheduled dog walk on February 3 (we were scheduled for a walk between 12-2pm), my husband arrived home at 4pm and ran into our walker, two hours later than our scheduled visit. That made us wonder if walks were routinely happening late. On Thursday, February 5, the walker arrived late again, this time at 3pm. The dogs were outside for less than one minute, and the entire duration of the visit was 10 minutes. We were disappointed in the late arrival and short visit, but hoped it was just a fluke. On Tuesday, March 10, our walker arrived at 2:55pm. The dogs were outside for less than 2 minutes and the entire visit lasted 10 minutes. That day was beautiful- 45 degrees and sunny and perfect dog walking weather. There is no excuse for no walk being given. Although I can't prove it, it seems probable that visits were late and walks weren't given on other dates as well. Knowing this information, we canceled our services immediately. Jessica wrote a long response to my cancellation email apologizing and offering 8 free walks, but the trust had already been broken and I was no longer interested in having her walkers in my house. Several of my friends use a dog walker that sends them picture texts of their dog enjoying a walk in the neighborhood each day. I think that's a nice way to show that your dog is indeed being walked and prove that walks are happening during the scheduled time. Unless Professional Pet Sitters can prove to you that their dog walkers are trustworthy and reliable, I wouldn't recommend working with them.

She was always available to care for Emily while I was gone, even last minute trips. Not only does Rebecca provide the best pet care ever, she always did playtime, brought Emily feathers to play with gave treats, fresh wet food and fresh water with ice cubes, just as Emily liked. Rebecca always sent pictures and videos with updates after each visit which gave me such a peace of mind my cat was in great hands and care. Rebecca is also the reason I was able to prolong Emily's last two years of her life before she cross the kitty rainbow at 20 years old! For two years and during the pandemic nonetheless. Rebecca came to visit Emily every day of the week and some days 2 times to administer home IV fluids and oral medication necessary for her supportive care. I would not have been able to do this without Rebecca's help! I was terrified with the vet told me this was my only option however, Rebecca stepped in and administered the IV medication, fluids, and oral medication. Such a blessing! She has always treated my Emily with kindness and a loving touch, and I will forever be grateful she was able to provide these things as part of her services. I will be honest--there was an incident on the live camera feed that was very upsetting to witness, and I was ready to pick Kuma up the next morning. As a rescue puppy, seeing her mishandled by an employee broke my heart. What made the difference was how quickly and professionally Kate, the managerbresponded. She called me within minutes of my email, listened to my concerns, showed genuine empathy, and immediately put my mind at ease. The team took my concerns seriously and ensured Kuma was never placed under that employee's care again. Because of how Kate and her staff handled the situation, I decided to give it couple more days. Kuma was happy, well cared for and enjoyed playtime. Today, Kuma attends daycare twice a week, has a monthly pool pass, and loves her time there. Also, they have cameras! Something many in Chicago don't. Service is always so nice, and my dog who has not liked being dropped off at daycares in the past, LOVES coming here. She walks in and never looks back! One thing I wish is that when she's being boarded, they no longer send a daily report card unless you pay an extra fee which I don't love.
