They did not listen to what we wanted then gaslighted about the condition of our English sheepdog's coat. You never shave them and we know he was not too matted to scissor cut. We've been combing him multiple days a week after brushing and if there was a small mat or two they could have just cut it in half and it comes apart quickly. The people we spoke to on arrival made sure not to be there at pickup because they knew they messed up. Never again with this place. read more

I was a last minute walk in to see if they could take my boy and they told me come right in with no appointment! Everyone was super nice and they took great direction to how i wanted my boy cut. They kept his long ears and shaped him out very nicely. I also did warn how he didn't really like his feet touched and they let me know he did push or pull from the girl grooming him a few times which i did expect. They did have him there from 11am-230pm which i feel like wasn't that bad to be honest. Sometimes you take your pet somewhere and they're there for up to 6 hours. I was a walk in and i understand there were dogs ahead of mine. Other than that I'm super happy, also he didn't seem to be overly stressed out either when i picked him up which shows a lot in a groomer! So overall 5/5 starts very thankful to have found them will definitely be returning!! read more

Cathy is the best, she did my sweet Daisy for years. You can tell how much she loves animals. As my sweet girl got older she would always make sure she got her in first so she wouldn't be there long and would take special time with her. She lived until 18 1/2 I just recently put her down a month ago. Cathy has a special place in my heart being so good to Daisy. My dog had sensitive skin and would wash her with oatmeal baths, and as he got older would use the medicated wash I would bring in. She even offered free ear cleaning in my dogs old age as she was prone to ear infections and recommended a great ear medication that completely kept them at bay when I started using it on her. (1 Star - Absolutely Ridiculous) I dropped my small, friendly, under-a-year-old Australian Shepherd mix off at 11 AM and didn't get her back until 5 PM. SIX HOURS. No updates. No phone call. Nothing. I was later told she had to be kenneled because she "wasn't behaving." This is a sweet puppy who doesn't bite and doesn't bark excessively. She's energetic -- because she's a puppy. Instead of patience, I was told I should consider sedating her or getting medication to calm her down. That suggestion alone was completely out of line. And after keeping her for six hours? Her nails weren't even trimmed. Not at all. I paid $45 for what looks like a basic wash. That's it. No nail trim. Nothing that justifies the time or the price. I genuinely could have done a better job at home in a fraction of the time -- without locking her in a kennel for hours. Zero communication. Poor handling. Incomplete service. Completely unacceptable. I will not be back. read more

Prior to finding them several years ago my dog despised his visits to his former groomer, and honestly, it wasn't my favorite either...and his cuts were lackluster at best. Once we found Bark Place, we never looked back and will never go anywhere else. The level of care they give to their clients, people and pet, is unmatched. Her skin was so red and irritated. Staff were very unfriendly, unprofessional, overpriced, and probably knew they screwed up because they were acting very awkward. Our family and Gryffin LOVE Bark Place!!! Cathy and her team are so talented, sweet, professional, and so passionate about grooming! Every dog that comes out of their salon always looks phenomenal. Gryffin adores them so much and they truly create a "family-like" environment. They always give him the best de-sheds and trims. He's super fluffy when he gets back and always smells SO AMAZING! Cathy told me they use scents from France and it really shows because the scent will last for at least a week. His coat is always so, so shiny and keeps in great shape after a visit. They do the BEST corgi butt trims here!! Most importantly, Gryffin loves going to them and is always so happy when he is there! They also have the CUTEST bandana's that are on theme with the seasons/holidays. I honestly wouldn't trust anyone else with grooming Gryff and even my mom's dog Finnley goes here. Everyone is so kind and you can tell they love what they do! As a bonus, the decor here is amazing. The salon is ALWAYS spotless and smells so good when you walk in. I took my Lhasa Apso in to be groomed and they destroyed her look, They cut her nears really short and almost shaved her legs. She looks completely different and will probably take months to grow out. If you like your dogs look I would recommend you not take the dog to this groomer. read more

My friend recommended this place after bringing his dog for years. He stressed their customer service and attentiveness. I made my appointment a month ago for today and called yesterday to confirm. They couldn't find it in the system due to a snafu. However they were still able to fit them in. I dropped them both off and came back in a about 5 hours. The Golden I wanted trimmed and washed. The husky groomed. Both of them came out perfectly . Great prices, customer service and detailed. The place itself was very clean and only one person at a time allowed. I will not be taking my dogs back. They clipped my older dog around his tail, I didn't find out until a week and a half later. Shortly after my dog started picking at it and it got worse. He's been in a cone for about 3 weeks now. Had they told me, I would have kept a better eye on it. They also lost my other dogs collar. One girl tried saying he didn't have a collar when he first got there. Luckily I had a Apple AirTag on it and was able to locate it, I had to drive out of my way to go pick it up. read more
