Omg, I love this place. I cannot say enough great things about our groomer. I have a Maltipoo, and this was her first time being groomed, so she definitely had that puppy energy. She has been coming here every month for a year now and she comes out looking perfect every single time. The groomer is so knowledgeable and always gives amazing recommendations based on my budget, lifestyle, and the traditional cuts for my dog's breed. Our dog truly enjoys coming here, and she clearly loves her groomer. I can even see a difference in her behavior during our weekly baths at home. My bro and sis-in-law have been bringing in their pup here for the past few years and when we recently added our pup to our fam, we had this place bookmarked for Beary's first grooming session...we had to wait until he was fully vaccinated and ready to be out in the wild before, so we were excited when he was finally able to go. It looks like it's owned and run by siblings; Leigh and Lina...we called in and made an appointment with Leigh and were able to get an appt pretty easily at a time that worked out for us. They were excited to see Beary right when we came in; signed a couple of forms and confirmed the type of cut we wanted. There were other pups there and even Beary's buddy Miks was there too, so not sure if that eased the experience. Other dogs were getting groomed and picked up as well and they all seemed like they were nice and happy and cleaned up. Leigh and Lina were super friendly and I got a great vibe from them that Beary would have a great experience. Like the other reviews have mentioned, they def have a passion and and the personalities that the pups gravitate towards. me and my brother share our dog and we both have our information here for our dog. he told me he made an appointment not too long ago, im not sure how long but it was recent. he said that the groomers kept spamming my brothers number and got upset when he didn't answer to confirm the appointment for our dog. the reason my brother was unable to answer/confirm was because he had SURGERY. he wasn't on his phone, didn't use it, didn't even have it on nor near him for a week or more because he was recovering. my grandma even had to help feed him and do other basic things like help him stand, feed him, clean his sutures, keep him company, etc. when my brother felt better after more than a month since getting surgery is hard on your body, he called to make a new appointment for our dog. he called and called and called multiple times but the call wouldn't go through. he decided to call again but make his number blocked and they all of a sudden answered and when my brother tried making a new appointment for our dog, he said LINA answered the phone and was upset/annoyed that she don't even bother to speak with my brother. She passed the phone to her husband. her husband then proceeded to speak to my brother and tell him that LINA was upset/mad at my brother for not answering her calls to confirm for the previous appointment he made for our dog. but obviously since my brother had surgery, he was loopy/out of it for quite a while and that wasn't a priority at the moment. her husband said that Lina wants nothing to do with him nor my dog anymore and won't service us. I think she's being completely pathetic and disgusting. we've been taking my dog with LINA for years now more than 4+ years and for this to happen and being basically banned to not make any future appointments with her anymore is disgusting. we're always on time, pick up and take our dog to the groomers when it's time for his grooming. this ONE time my brother did not confirm due to obviously his surgery, this is how Lina reacts? How disgraceful disgusting behavior. My name and phone number is on the contact information as well and not once did i receive a call or text message to confirm on my brother's behalf. They could have reached out to me but did not. honestly hearing my brother tell me this pissed me the fuck off because she wasn't even understanding as to why he didn't not answer the calls. She immediately wanted nothing to do with my brother or our dog. She didn't even ask if something happened to my brother and as to why he didn't answer nor wasn't willing to talk to him.. im still pissed. We've even recommended family to her business. She's left an ill taste in my tongue and will for sure tell ppl not to book with her. she even had the audacity to complain that our dog is "special" and blah blah blah. ALL dogs have their own personality to them. if she's complaining about my dog being "special", then she shouldn't even be around animals if she can't handle it. some dogs are hyper, barking a lot, aggressive, etc. My dog isn't the friendliest when it comes to being groomed or touched by random ppl he doesn't know. he always liked Lina and wouldn't be aggressive towards her because like how I said before, we've been going to Lina for YEARS so my dog would only allow for her to groom him. So we have a senior dog who was seeing the same groomer for the last 8 years. She moved on and we were on the hunt for a new groomer. I found Pawsitive Pet Grooming on Yelp and decided to give it a try. It's not the closest groomer to us but it is with the drive. Kuma is 12, and he gets nervous when groomed. They are so patient and he comes back looking so good. This was our second appt with them and he lets them pick him up and he doesn't do that for everyone. The staff has always been friendly when making an appointment, they call to confirm the appointment the night before too. The shop is cute. It's small but it's nicely decorated and feels friendly. The kennels for the dogs are in the main room so the staff can see them all and they aren't left alone. Today I peaked around the wall and could see Kuma just laying in his kennel. He looked pretty relaxed considering he was at the groomers. I highly recommend this team. read more

I truly appreciate how prompt they are in responding. I also appreciated that they asked for my dog's vaccine records prior to his appointment. I came here about two months ago with my new puppy. This is the first place I visited as they were able to fit me in same day. I did not want to go to my old groomer for my previous dog as I wanted someone more professional. I loved my overall experience. The woman in the front was kind and explained the cost of service. He received a flea bath, tooth brushing, facial for his redness and cut. I paid overall around $80-90 but so worth it in my opinion. I believe my dog was in their hands from 2pm to 5pm and when I saw him I couldn't recognize him. He went from homeless to show dog. His haircut is still looking fabulous after 2 months and just needs to be shaped next time take him in. I loved the results and will be booking my next appointment soon. read more

I'm leaving a PAWsitive review! This little shop is located in the Vons Plaza on Grand/Badillo. As soon as you walk in, you'll see a cute line of doggie dresses to glam up your pup! Sadly, my dog is too big for the dresses displayed but if you have a small dog, definitely dress her up! The process as a first time customer: 1) Complete an application. 2) List any medications/allergies your pet has. 3) Shop owner, Lina, will review the application with you and if you're satisfied, leave your pet in her care! I initially called to get a sanitary and facial grooming for my dog and was suggested by the owner to get the full package grooming instead for $10-$20 more! On the phone, I told her I'd just go with the sanitary and facial grooming instead for $30 and I added on teeth brushing for $6, and to add on a bath was $35. So I thought "why not go for the full package for my 34lb dog for $65?" And that I did go for! However the add ons for teeth brushing and ear flushing($10) total came out to $86. As a first time customer, using Yelp, AND paying with cash - check in to get $5 off AND get 5% off your tab for paying with cash!!! They were able to combine the deals together and gave me a great price! My dog has severe anxiety when she's not at a familiar place or when I'm not around, which I understand may be difficult to handle. Lina did a fantastic job on grooming her and I listed exactly what I wanted and it was done! I love how her face looks! Her eye lashes aren't cut too short and makes her look more feminine than masculine! I appreciate the care and time you put into making my dog look so pretty! I also LOVE all the add ons that I can pick and choose from! It feels like a doggie daycare/nursing home I would trust. read more
