I've been looking for a reliable groomer. FOUND IT!! The owner was kind, and they did an awesome job answering my questions and listening to what I wanted done for my puppys grooming. The groomer was patient as my puppy's uncertainty about what was going on seemed to make her (the puppy) anxious. The groomer even sat on the floor, letting my puppy get comfortable with her~ That gets a 10/10 rating!! The cut was exactly what I asked for. THE BEST grooming place I've been to (and I've been to several)! My lil guy loves Kayla! She's an amazing groomer and she really has a way with pets. My 'baby', a Schnoodle, actually pulls me toward the door because he's excited to see Kayla and not at all nervous about being groomed. I used another grooming place for a few years and something happened there that made my Mason terrified to be groomed (whining, trembling and clinging to me before we would even get to the door). He is not like that when I take him to Kayla... it gives me such relief knowing that he is being treated so good. Pretty Pawsome Grooming salon is always clean. It's also decorated nicely and Kayla has a little bench set up for photos. I love the personal touches there but most importantly, I love how Kayla treats my lil guy as if he were her own. This was the first time taking our 5 month old puppy to get groomed and he hasn't had much socialization yet so we were a little nervous. We didn't know how hard he would be to groom, because bathing him has been a challenge for us. We were blown away by the results! Booking the appointment was super easy. All it took was going to the website and selecting an available slot. We showed up with our puppy and was immediately greeted by the owner, Kayla. Our puppy seemed to really like her and she was so very kind and inviting which made us feel a little more at ease. We were then introduced to our groomer, Andrea. We were very surprised at how calm he was when she picked him up. We honestly didn't expect much since it was his first time being groomed and we didn't know how much he would wiggle. It didn't even take as long as we thought it would! I'm very happy with the price and the experience. Thank you very much Kayla and Andrea! Had no idea there was such an amazing and sweet groomer in Vegas! He has anxiety and is always scared to go around new people but when we dropped him off she was very patient and knew how to approach him and then when I went to go pick him up he was so happy and looked so comfortable. Every time I would take him to his now past groomer he would always look so scared and ready to leave. I also love that he was out loose on the floor rather than locked up in a crate. We have brought our doodle here three times. The first time we knew she was probably going to get shaved as it had been awhile from the previous owners groom and we failed to keep up on the brushing while the hair grew long. The second time we were assured that she wouldn't need shaved as she looked "pretty good". When my wife called in the payment she was told she needed shaved because "we found a mat under her leg and behind her ear" so that justified a complete shave?!? We took her there another groomer in between the second and third visit here and got a fluff and trim and she came out GREAT. It was a little further from the house and a couple bucks more. But it was exactly the cut my wife wanted. The third trip here I made her look at the work order on her booking site. I confirmed twice we did NOT want a complete shave down. You will never guess what we got..... we will not be back a fourth time. read more
