I will recommend Sarah time and time again. We have been through another local group class with our…read morepup and it was great, but his good behavior in class did not always translate into good behavior at home. Because the majority of Sarah's training services are provided in her home, this has helped the training really stick for our dog. Also, since Sarah has her own dogs at home, she was in the unique position to be able to help observe and correct our pup's inappropriate play while teaching him proper boundaries, which was our main concern when seeking individual training. Regular field trip outings also allowed the chance for him to practice his skills in public, which has been a real confidence booster for him. Originally, I was a bit taken aback by the prices listed on her website, but in the end, it was worth every penny. The one-on-one training she did with him has worked wonders, and we loved the idea of him getting to hang with her and her family (dogs and humans) when he wasn't learning. We plan to continue using Sarah's doggie daycare and boarding services.

The owner of Buddy's place is very passionate about what she does. She really cares about each dog and their owner. She is very knowledgeable and always willing to answer any questions. Their reputation proceeds them for being mischievous, stubborn, and un-trainable. Well Sarah did the impossible. Our Husky is one of the best dogs out there. She has achieved 2 AKC certifications and she keeps learning. YOU MUST GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We initially thought we'd foster her for adoption due to her dog aggression issues. After working with Travis, we decided togive Rosie a forever home ourselves. We brought Travis in to privately train her so she didn't have to deal with the stress of a group setting and because we wanted a tailored training program. With Lone Star Dog Training, we received an excellent job. Travis educated us about how training is important and what results he felt we could see. Over the course of 4 months, Rosie went from being aggressive toward our other dogs to feeling safe and comfortable with them. She's even adopted our 12 year old border terrier as her sister. Rosie has progressed from a frightened stray who did not wag her tail or understand how to take affection, to bounding and leaping with joy when she sees her people. She now seeks out our affections and looks forward to spending time with us. If not for Lone Star Dog Training, we would not have decided to keep her. It showed us what a wonderful, fun and loving dog Rosie is. Thank you, Travis , for your dedication and patience with us.

Sayde made huge strides in her service dog training. Learning her first official task as well as all the ground work for future ones. Communication from Nick during Sayde's stay was incredible! He, even still months later, checks in on us and ensures we are still making progress and that their training remains in place. A quality hard to find in many training programs. I would highly recommend Mayday Dog Training for anyone looking to improve their dogs obedience or complex training.

I wanted a personal protection dog that's not only obedient, but good with kids and family. A trained dog that can go anywhere with me. Wether it's a car ride, hiking, swimming or maybe go to the mall. I wanted a dog that can do many tricks and impress my friends and family while protecting us anywhere we go. I started researching online and discovered that such a dog can cost anywhere from $50k to a $120k (not kidding). Not willing to spend this kind of money, I decided to go a different route. I started my search for a good working lines German shepherd dog breeder and found one locally. I got my pup around 8 weeks old and wanted to find a good dog trainer right away. After countless days of speaking to different trainers, I came across Nick through Facebook and decided to give him a try. From the moment I spoke to Nick, I knew that he was a great fit for Apollo. He explained to me that this is a project dog and cannot be completed overnight and will require different courses throughout my puppy's development which I happily agreed to. I sent Apollo in for the very first time at 3 months old for his first 2 weeks program. It made a huge difference. I couldn't believe that it was the same dog. Apollo was crate trained, obedient and was able to learn more than 7 commands in German. Apollo is 7 months old now and I just dropped him off to Nick for another 2 weeks. I can't wait to see what my pup can learn this time! It's really hard to find a dog trainer that can handle Apollo's level of energy. I will not let anyone touch Apollo but Nick.

We had to take him into Cypress Fairhaven Animal Hospital. They are not only my personal Vet Clinic but also the Clinic for the Rescue I'm with; Big Love Rescue out of Cypress TX. I couldn't be more impressed with our Little Man, Mr Brad Pittie! He took everything in stride, kissed everyone taking care of him & didn't skip a beat when we got home. A testament to Big Love Rescue which is a Non-Profit wanting the best for all dogs taken by them. Plus surprised me with a trainer! As As you all know I can't do much. I needed help getting him from car into the Vets & back to the car. Well check out this Video! Brad Pittie is a fast learner. His desire to please is enormous. It's a Pittie trait but his heart is one of the biggest I've encountered. The Trainer is Dawn Currie she owns K-9 Family Dog Training here in Cypress, Texas. I couldn't believe what she accomplished with my dog on the first day, let alone after 4 days of training. Dexter, a rescue dog, who was taken from his momma at 5 weeks (currently 4 months old), needed to learn bite inhibition, and he had anxiety issues. He is a different dog; more calm, relaxed and so pleasant! He went from biting and barking and jumping (mostly what puppies do anyway, but the biting was getting more aggressive and a huge concern for me) to doing none of those. In 4 days, the majority of basic obedience has been taught. I can put him in the down position, drop a treat, say leave it, and he won't touch it until I say! I have always wanted a well-behaved dog, and because of her work, I have that!! And it will only continue, as Dexter will get to work with her once a week! I highly recommend Dawn - 2 HUGE thumbs up. You will not be disappointed.

Approximately 10 seconds after my initial search, it was very obvious that Scott was the easy decision. He's been collecting reviews for years and virtually all of them are 5-stars. It was a virtual guarantee that we would be happy if we called Scott. So we called Scott. Yes, these services are not cheap. But you get what you pay for and what you pay for here is a human being who speaks dog. Owning a puppy can be the source of unlimited stress, but you can really minimize that stress when you have someone like Scott to help you learn how to tackle all of the issues that pop up along the journey. And honestly, you plan to have a puppy in your life for many years - getting good behavior for potentially a decade+ is not money you are going to regret spending. We purchased the middle-tier package which consisted of 5 visits (4 in home and 1 at a park) + the opportunity to reach out to him whenever we have any future issues and need a bonus session or just some help. Scott came to our house for visit #1, and I will never forget how hard I laughed when he *immediately* transformed our girl from a cracked out puppy to a completely submissive and obedient dog after a simple, two-step action. And his method is never to hurt your dog - this is all done by just mimicking the behavior of an older dog who is teaching a puppy how to behave. Each visit resulted in better and better behavior. As of this writing, our puppy is 5 months old, but we have greatly accelerated her emotional intelligent, far behind her actual age. Our last visit was at a big park that had a dog park and a playground. There were a bunch of kids playing on the playground and they wanted to come say hello and pet our dog. Of course, I forgot all of *my* training and was failing to control her from jumping and being crazy. Scott patiently watched me messing up, and eventually, calmly walked over, took the leash, did his two step command, and just like the first day: POOF, it was like an exorcism. Suddenly, she was calm and submissive, allowing the toddlers to pet her without anymore lunatic behavior. The group of parents literally ooh'd and ahh'd at this marvel. I'm so glad others were able to witness his magic. And I'm so glad Scott was one of our first calls after we brought Birdie into our lives. I highly recommend you do the same.
